  1. I totally understand the need to adjust weapon balance. That being said, a lot of the recent primary kitgun changes were rather drastic. In addition, I'm sure everyone has a zaw or kitgun they wish they could make some revisions to retrospect, and with kitguns generally needing 4-6 forma to fit a complete build, that gets especially aggravating.

Why not allow players to valance fusion these weapons so they can swap parts while keeping their investments?

I currently have 5 catalysts, 7 forma, and an exilus adapter invested in primary kitguns, and with the recent changes I would jump at the chance to switch some parts around. I'm sure other people have invested even more time and resources.

Even without the consideration of balance adjustments by necessity rendering all stats subject to change, I would consider this to be a massive QOL improvement. I currently have 9 zaws and 4 secondary kitguns representing an investment of 13 catalysts, 44 forma, and 2 exilus adapters, plus the associated resource and affinity farming. I would love to be able to experiment more with different parts/stat combinations without the need to start from scratch every time.

  2. Have had a similar issue twice in the past couple days, most recently this morning, in the cave system under Mount Nang (both times were in the same spot): could hear the "cache hum" sound effect in the pictured location, but no third cache, so couldn't complete the bounty. Didn't think to try using scanner to get x-ray vision to see if it was in the wall, but it didn't show up on loot detector.rVDaLVz.jpg

  3. Just ran the triple eidolon bounty for the first time since patch. Returned to Cetus while the new rewards screen wasn't done scrolling through and before the third reward showed up, and it didn't show me getting an arcane drop from the Hydrolyst on the mission complete screen. I don't know if this is a reporting error on the mission results, or if I legit didn't get an arcane-- I only keep track of barrier, energize, and grace from the Hydrolyst these days, and I definitely didn't get one of those.

And yes, I did pick up the unidentified item that he dropped.

Edit: also didn't get the 5,000 Cetus standinglSbigRp.jpg8bYZOVi.jpg

  4. Right now, host migrations are not in a great place on the technical side, frequently resulting in lost loot, affinity, standing, etc., and occasionally just breaking outright (an issue I've noticed quite a bit in endless void fissures).

While seamless host migrations without loss to clients would be the ideal solution, that is a fairly tall ask. Making it readily apparent when the host is extracting, such as adding a "host" tag to their name in the continue/extract menu for defense and interception, or a different extraction message for the host in survival/excavation, seems like it would be fairly straightforward to implement, and would help alleviate the problem. Obviously this wouldn't help with a host crashing or disconnecting out of the blue, but would result in fewer episodes of frustration overall.

Personally, I would always choose to extract with the host rather than risk losing time invested in a mission due to a bad migration, but I tend to forget to check the tiny number by someone's name.
