    Even if you accidentally stab lich, can't you just abort mission?  If not, what about alt+F4?

    You cant possibly be angry about losing rewards for a rushed larva mission by the time you are ready to fight lich.

    Why not just exit game?

    Game saves your Lich the moment you stab it. Alt+F4 or abort does not work.

    There are rare instances where you may not be able to see a sign upward due to the sunlight or massive trucks so they add them to the road and on the side as well, so are you agreeing that more than just visual and audio are okay or...?

    I am definitely not against adding a mechanic to prevent accidental Lich spawns. I recognize the problem exists, however I feel that it fixing other's problems forcefully for them just cannot be healthy for anybody's living habits. But that's just me.

    As I've said in previous posts, there are ways of implementing not only more effective preventive measures, but also even the suggested Lich cancellation button which would make it so you cannot cycle Ephemeras. Or even weapon % rates if you wanted to go that far.

    Like I said multiple times already, I have ADHD, meaning that the slightest thing happening can distract me from what I'm doing, & that can happen three or four times in a single mission, you blame it on me for having an attention deficit

    Believe me or not, I don't care, but you can't deny that there must be some players that have it too, but you still want to punish them by saying: "well it's your fault"

    And I don't know who you are nor I have ever interacted with you, so you shouldn't expect me to know about your disorders.

    That being said, sorry to hear that. I am a part of community which has a high percentage of people who suffer from or identify their symptomps as ADHD. I know how it can affect their lives.

    Nevertheless, majority of them lives with it and know they cannot avoid the mistakes. A few of them I've interacted for months and didnt realize they suffered from it until they told me. I've met some who were very humble, but I've also met some who perceived the disorder as entitlement for special treatment in every aspect of their lives.

    Now, I am not denying mistakes with Liches don't happen. But I have already given examples of how DE did their part to warn people about the potential Lich spawning mechanic, so the fault is on players regardless of their state. But I have also given ideas on how to peacefully fix the issues and alleviate the impact and punishment people face because of those mistakes at once, so I feel we're square here.

    So you want us to be attentive to every little bit happening in the game at once

    I know you're talking about the blinking screen, but by the time I reach the larvling, dozens of other things happened, remember that it takes only one mistake, you can't expect us to be the best at everything 100% of the time

    Indeed. At least to that extent. I mean, what external force prevents you from doing so? DE provided a tool which tells you "Hey, listen, there is a larvling about to spawn so if you want a lich go kill it, otherwise take care not to."

    Then you actually also need to kill the larvling on your own, what is easy to fo by accident while meleeing, much harder from distance/abilities when larvling is the only marked distinctively.

    This is already two very valid mistakes you need to do on your own.

    How many more indicators would you require to prevent you from making this mistake?

    The easiest solution here would be to, as someone already mentioned, make the kill of larvling be held. Just like vanquish/convert are. But still DE is not responsible for the mistakes players do on their own using the tools provided to them. While the flat number of people who did it could be high, the percantage is low.

    @cmacq

    I don't understand. If you have no need or desire to kill your current Lich you will not get an Ephemera either way because it will live forever?

    If the Lich you spawned has no Ephemera and you cancel it, next one will not have it unless you kill/convert a Lich.

    If your Lich you spawned has an Ephemera and you cancel it, next one will not have it so you cannot switch them. And you cancel the Lich consciously.

    If you spawn a lich and it doesn't matter if it has Ephemera or not, you will not get it if you don't kill it either way.

    You are not locked out of Ephemera. It is only a mechanic that would prevent you from cancelling Liches without Ephemera because it would make it so you couldn't rotate liches in hopes of new one having Ephemera because previous one didnt have it.

    Your lich has no Ephemera and you cancel it? All your future Liches will have none unless you kill/convert one. After that chances are back to 20%. Sounds only fair to me.

    Fact is players have accidentally parazoned Larvalings. Much like people accidentally drive off the road or don't see that a sharp turn is approaching, which is why PREVENTATIVE MEASURES are put into place. Human error can exist without an exact reflect on human competence due to many outside factors.

    This is exactly why I brought up the visual indicators from before.

    Much like people ignore signs warning about a sharp turn and are held responsible for their actions in case of accident, so is the blinking screen and audio/visual cue of Larvling spawning consciously ignored and a Lich is spawned by choice of a player.

    DE  knows that and will eventually do it, but, they haven't implemented that yet to makes us play some accidental liches, and to avoid the terrible thing that would happen (ephemera efficient grind)

    Make it so that next Lich cannot have an Ephemera unless previous Lich was killed or converted. Problem solved.

  6. I thought this was a single time occurence, but it just repeated itself. I've spent time playing with clan on their Lich planets, unlocking my Parazon requiem mods and eventually getting all 3 rune words. So, since I didn't share planets with clanmates, I decided I will go and test the mod combination on my Lich in just public games on my planet. What happens next is infuriating. My Lich is lvl 2 and close to spawning.

    - I join a public match.

    - 4 players run around myself included.

    - Someone's Lich spawns (in this example, it was a lvl 5 lich).

    - We combat the Lich, and he attempts Parazon kill.

    - The player (not me, not my Lich either) fails the Parazon combination.

    - MY LICH gains a level, resets its anger meter and does not give me a chance to check my Parazon combination.

    I have no idea what it is caused with, I suspect it's desync issue which makes my Lich attempt to spawn when someone else's Lich is active and replaces their Lich for me and myself only, but once somebody else fails their Lich, the game counts as if my Lich was just failed and progresses with regular lvl up and reset. And now I have to play mission after mission again waiting for my Lich to spawn from 0 because the game screwed me over.

    Still even if DE someday will fix railjack you can still play it - they don't.

    What stops people on lvl 3 Railjack from playing? What incentive do I have to grind to improve mine if there are so many better available already?

    If you think this is the last we've seen Railjack content you're plainly naive. This entire update is centered about Railjack, I cannot imagine New War not introducing more Railjack missions. Lvl 3 Railjack players will still keep playing it, many of them. And I will keep joining them instead of grinding for my own Railjack effectiveness because increasing it brings nothing to the table which is already filled with more capable Railjacks than my own. Essentially, me constructing a Railjack was not even necessary, what basically means that I might have as well not gotten Railjack at all.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Issue with Railjack is that lack of gear actually HEAVILY thwarts your progress and effectiveness. And WF was always about finding that sweet golden build to maximize effectiveness.
    The only thing in which RJ actually differs from regular WF content is actual % drop rates of things you want. 0.15% per specific enemy for many Zetki Avionics to maximize your build. 2% times whatever the percantage is for a strong Avionics Vidar reactor. This has been said many times and I will repeat it after players: Introducing layers upon layers of grind to thwart progress is NOT content.
    I have nearly 900 hours in-game (not steam) on my account and up until Railjack I've been enjoying every bit of Warframe. Scaling through MR, events, regular missions, alerts, kuva siphons, endless attempts, arbitrations, boss wf parts grinds, ephemera hunts, ESO, eidolons, POE, OV. Even the time gating of syndicates did not repel me. You know why? Because if I earned something finally. Like [Link Shields] for example. Grineer cache 3.67% drop chance for rotation C. Not the worst grind ever, but still required many runs. And I enjoyed them, because once I found the mod, I had it and was able to proceed to another minor objective on my own to-do list.
    This is not the case with Railjack. The psychological aspect of gratification is no longer there. Because I'm happy that Vidar Reactor dropped, but upon closer inspection it turns out it's sh**. The game now actively laughs in your face and tells you your joy was for nothing, go back to grind.
    And to be honest? I just don't want to play Railjack anymore at all. It's one piece of content that has a mechanic that actively takes drains your joy out of you when you think you finally got what you wanted.
    The fact repair drones have such a ridiculous drop chance now means that what you're left with is grind only. In MR27 I still haven't seen a single legendary core from sorties, and I do them quite often. And drone has just a marginally higher drop chance than those. Only resource I lack for repairing my gear is Titanium. But how do you earn it? By flying around the map after combat doing NOTHING for 5-10 minutes just breaking asteroids/boxes you find in space. Really engaging. Really fun. Really entertaining. Add "not" to every sentence for the past three.
    Am I a hardcore player? No. It took me at least two years to get where I am now. By sometimes playing more intensely, sometimes just playing for a short time to advance very slightly but have one less thing to do on my list and enjoy the results of my work afterwards. But thing is, Warframe is built on a giant community which has many, many casual players. Many more than other games which actively discourage people due to visible amounts of grind with no guaranteed reward on horizon. Warframe used to have guaranteed rewards for your work, not anymore.
    I still play regular content, but I don't play Railjack unless my clanmates ask for help. And I guarantee, I'm not the only one who doesn't give a flying f about RJ because it's grind levels are on entirely different plane of possibilities. If WF continues to go down this path, there is no reason to play that content for me. Seeing how Warframe is not a competitive game in any shape or form, there is no reason for me to grind for all of that. What means I'm not partaking in content. What means there effectively is no new content for me, a casual player. And that means I'm not playing Warframe. Story ends.
  8. Do not use AOE AMPs. For some reason game does not acknowledge them.
    I've been using 327 all the time and wasn't able to open a single door no matter if I was a host or a client. I developed a theory it can be an AMP issue. so I switched to a lascannon AMP. The doors opened after first shot.
    Like rivens, you dont have to get all maxed stats engines or reactors to make your RJ serviceable.
    It's true, you don't. But you know what will happen if RJ will keep evolving in missions and mission difficulty?
    "Hey, does your RJ have a XXX gun with Speedy engines I can manouver while your generator supports Zetki Bulkhead, Hyperstrike, and a few more essential mods so we can clear this quick?"
    "No."
    "We're taking mine then, you can throw your own into trash bin."
  10. Never yet in my entire history of stay in Warframe have I been softlocked from effectively playing the content without clear target on how to improve my effectiveness.
    Over many many months whenever I felt I needed to adjust my build, I knew very well what I was missing and what I need to do to get it. I worked hard for it, griding and knowing that I will get what I want eventually. And that felt respectful to me, my rewards were directly influenced by the amount of work I put it.
    In comes the Railjack. I have mods installed and RJ is decent. Nice. Now, I need that Zetki Bulkhead and Hyperflux to survive and destroy Veil... but, for both I will probably need a generator that has more than +50 avionics bonus. Alright, let's find a new generator!
    So I get into missions, drop 9 of them. None of them are better. My clanmate gets 2nd which is over 100 avionics. This fills my cup slowly. Why the game, which I love and respect for its approach to people putting their hours into the game, is suddenly starting to disrespect the time I've put into it? I have amazing AW gun, so I can easily do Veil this way. But I can no longer chase the players who simply had better luck than me at this point with my own RJ. Lately I've found myself just joining other people's Railjacks simply because they are stronger and I cannot do anything to improve mine as long as I do not find a better RNG generator... which I am not getting even from the missions with those random people or clanmates.
    For the first time ever since playing Warframe I feel I do not have a target I can set for myself to reach in a measurable amount of time. While other people are enjoying Veil with their Railjacks because they happened to get better drops, I am stuck with my own due to inability to improve it in any reliable way due to being stuck behind RNG reactor restrictions.
    I wanted to fly my OWN Railjack. Be a proud owner of a vehicle I've put work, resources and time into. Now instead of being up there with happy people who can fly their strong Railjacks to use them effectively in combat, I am anchored to the ground until I find a better RNG gear. Which will then take ridiculous amounts of resources to repair... ...resources from Railjack missions let's add.
    Getting a Vidar generator which is significantly more capable in Avionics increase than Zetki is already hard. Adding another layer which gives it a possibility of still being useless is an overkill for me. I cannot enjoy Railjack this way. In a game which has so far been about powergaming and enjoyment of you being an allmighty being eradicating your enemies, to suddenly be forced to comply with using suboptimal gear to struggle without realistic timetable on when your gameplay will improve, because it is no longer up to you to decide?
    For the first time I am absolutely disappointed with DE. Even Kuva Liches were passable for me, because you could always trade one gun for another as they hold same MR fodder value to many people. Weapon % bonuses don't influence the game that much either because you have plenty of other weaponry options if you wish. But Railjack? Even with introduction of trading, your time spent in game is no longer valued in the same amount as work spent by your fellow player. You can put 100 hours into grind and won't get the piece of gear you need to progress efficiently, while somebody else will drop it in 2 hours and will then sell it to you at insane price putting you even more behind.
    I've spent a good few hundreds of $ for cosmetics and speeding up progress because I felt that I knew PRECISELY what I am getting and for what price. No RNG = no doubts on your money spent. Ivara Prime came out. I love her to bits. Farmed her and constructed immediately. I was considering Prime Accessories pack and... I didn't buy it. I still want it, but I no longer trust the game is heading in the direction I want to support financialy. The game ceases to value the time I'm putting in it equally to all the others. I'm a person who will play around with mods, varying all the levels of them instead of maxing them to squeeze out that 2.5% more ability strength on Chroma while keeping the Vex cost rise from 94 -> 98 so I can still recast it after 1 energy pulse. But it's 2.5%!
    If I cannot optimize my gear and compare it with clanmates/people because my RNG was not good enough, this is where my fun stops. And this is where my support stops as well.
  11. I am not sure if this is intended:
    Wisp's seeds seem to be affected by temporary buff gained from Growing Power, however they do not benefit from Pax Bolt kitgun arcane.
    The seeds seem to calculate the ability strength the moment they touch the ground, not at the moment the ability is being cast. With Growing Power, this is not an issue since the buff persists for 6 seconds what is fine for the delay in casting.
    However, Pax Bolt buff stack is expended the moment the ability is cast, and while it is expended for the seed, the ability strength calculation kicks in about half a second later and the seed power does not increase even though it consumes the Pax Bolt buff. I have not tried it with Energy Conversion, however I assume the effect could be the same based on how similar both mod buffs are.
    Im all for an eidolon change. The fact that only a handful of frames are useful is ridiculous and a poor design. Anyone defending this only does so because they've mastered the meta and don't want it to change; dont be so selfish.
    With all due respect but you are quite naive to believe that meta would disappear if eidolons were reworked.
    Meta would CHANGE, not disappear. There would still be a combination of 4 frames that would be more efficient than others and they would be used most often.
    Meta never disappears, it only ever changes. Grasp it.
    Healer of the lures, trinity. nobody else can really do this. an oberon can only do so much and trin is perfect for this because of how quickly she can just heal them. Technically a equinox could do this too but you miss out on damage reduction and it takes a lot more effort. She is the only frame that is mandatory for eidolons, and even with that title, with going fast enough she's not actually
    My friend uses Vazarin Harrow with great success and doesn't lose a single lure in tridolons, making Trinity obsolete in our runs and leaving us with free warframe slot open.
