wha?Because link requires energy to cast which is bad because bless requires you to spam.
QT takes no energy only when hit. So it acts like a buffer before you die so that you can move away and regen with pads. It's more efficient to maximize bless with one mod for QT than to build for both link and bless
also keep in mind in some cases that many high tier players have double energize set so they don't build for full efficency on some frames so spamming 2 casts take more energy than one.

Link is probably Trin's best ability. It does so much. The issue is it only does it for Trin (Abating Link notwithstanding).
What you tend to see in dedicated groups is an outwardly focused Trinity: she's there to support and enable her teammates. They should provide cover for her, so Link is the one ability you can minimize, since your team should ideally pick up the slack. In practice, this can be an issue, but it's the team that's uppermost, so that's where your stress is when working out a build.
In a PuG, you can't count on your team for much of anything. There you have to cover all your bases. If teammates are amenable, you can support them, but you must support yourself first. Otherwise you might not be around to do much of anything.
You just repeated what I said. I said that link is good but is not needed in organized squads. That's shy hybrid builds exist for. Pubs.

and can you provide any examples? what does the organized squad look like in your opinion, so that Trinity doesn't need working Link a priori
No it doesn't
If you assume the role of trinity in something like an eidolon, raid, endurance run. Your sole purpose is heal/reenergize team mates. Building for link wastes mod slots which is why quick thinking is used agmost pro players as it keep casters tank taking advantage of prime WF energy pools while using as little mod slots as possible.
While you are free to express your opinion on what build is optimal understand that the people you are discussing with have proven to you that they bear more merit with their accomplishment and have proven that they know what they are talking about.

Yes it is, Votlage posted 3 builds
one that is exclusively for bless and for EV, this is used for event runs, raids, etc... When ur sole role is to heal or re-energize.
The EV has low duration and high range, to get the most energy possible.
Bless now has a set damage mitigation and a set range so it maximizes the other attributes
The hybrids is for when you are in a pub, and we run into players like yourself randomly and so it covers everything.
Also it is, and above that player in question has the stats to prove it, while Goko, made a build with energize in mind, as he has 2 sets.
While link is a good ability, when In a squad its more productive to minmax for one ability. Link is useless in these scenarios with organized squads.

As I said if the situation call for it I will use it on trinity.It teaches players bad practices concerning AURA use. Rejuv is useless in LoR and JV and it is way more beneficial to have the proper auras and teach them how to do the raid right than to rely on a crutch.
Even at that LOR is all about CC they should even be hitting core in the first case slotting an aura for one segment is, well, dumb.

For instance, last night, I had a PUG for some Kuva Farming, we went into the flood mission and I had ember on (its the only frame I have the build where I want it.) Literally 10 seconds into the mission, chat pops up with "ember past level 30". No questions were asked on my build, or what not. We didnt struggle, we didnt have problems (to my knowledge) and yet the comment was still made.
Later I was in a group for sorties and someone saw a limbo and straight abandoned the mission, just cause another player had limbo.
I guess I dont understand, it seems like since I started using ember, I have been more harassed and annoyed by people than on any other frame. Is it cause im bad as a player and don't realize it or people dont like ember.
(for the record, im running a max range cc build so Im relying on my weapons more than my 4 to kill things)
Also, is Limbo a lost cause? So far he seems to be, in my research, one of the most polarizing frames, either you love him, or despise him. Or are my assumptions incorrect?
if you aren't using limbo in a flood somethings wrong tbh. That's why I solo all my floods.
CC frames are useless in floods because they don't affect the primary threats, those being the kuva guardians.
DPS frames are also useless because theres no point in mass killing enemies that infinitely spawn.
So thebest frames for the job are the ones who cant die and even at that people cant still F*** that up somehow. So limbo is the best because he can protect you and your companion and you can get kuva uninterrupted.

just because u dont understand the game mechanics doesnt mean u should paint all these arcanes w/ a bread brush. theres alot of usefulness with the arcanes u just need to test. pls try them out u wont regret it
