  1. For me and my purposes I just need access to my PS4 account on my PC. My household is certainly not in the majority when it comes to our entertainment setup. The main TV has the PS4 hooked up and my account gets used for logging into YouTube TV (bye Vue. You were awesome) which ties up my ability to play Warframe until pretty late at night. My gaming PC is always at my disposal though. I wouldn't mind a standalone installer locked to the console update cadence and only the ability to use the in-game shop for purchases with Credits (like buying weapons blueprints). Platinum purchases can be done on my console no problem; I do have the capacity to wait. Having access to Steam would be a nice bonus though due to having in home streaming. My spine got all messed up in a car accident and it's nice to be able to play my Steam library on my laptop when I have to lay flat to decompress my nerves (my literal ones, not my emotional ones). For Destiny 2 I was happy to be able to migrate everything to the PC only because it ate an obscene amount of hard drive space on the console. But when it comes to Warframe I don't mind having it live mainly on my PlayStation with occasional forays onto my computer. Compromises usually have to be made in life.

  2. So, you'll have to forgive my ignorance; I struggle a bit with the lore in Warframe. I know there is a comic series which I haven't read (shame on me) and there may be additional lore both inside and outside of the game that I probably missed. I also find the quests WAY too subtle sometimes, and usually if there's fighting and talking at the same time I'm unable to focus on both simultaneously. But my understanding is that all the Frames are made of infected humans as a base from which the technocyte constructs the Warframe around? If they're just robots remotely controlled by the Operator then I can still square the lore in my mind: the "regular" Frames are extracted (?) from bosses, the Primes are discovered from opened relics (whatever they ACTUALLY are), and Umbrals are an actual person trapped inside the Frame and their consciousness is shoved aside when the Operator takes control. There's so much to mine here in this game that I hope DE plumbs in greater detail. God I love this game.

  3. Kora is pretty fun, though I don't use her much since Saryn is my bae. I have a soft spot for Saryn since she was the first Prime I ever built. It didn't take me what felt like an inordinate amount of time to get all of Khora's parts from Onslaught. Maybe a little less than a week, if I remember correctly. I also didn't focus exclusively on Khora during that time. I probably averaged 5 runs a day, and if I didn't get what I needed after that I went and did other things. There is a LOT that has been added to the game so I understand that overwhelmed feeling. Just work on what you want until you feel bored or frustrated and move on to something else. You'll get where you want to be eventually. Unless it's Nightwave..which I really liked but I can see where the timed nature could induce some major stress for certain people. Hell, I'm one of them! I can't leave any checklist unfinished, though I did learn that it's okay to not fully complete each week to get the final present. I have faith that you'll be making progress soon. Too bad we don't have cross platform play. I'd say to add me since I'm always down to help anyone.

  4. As someone who played a LOT of Paragon (RIP dear friend) I can see a third person shooter making a successful MOBA. However, I'm not sure it would mesh well with Warframe as it stands, meaning the base game. The combat is too fast and fluid. Now if DE tested this as a side project, something standalone, then I would definitely check it out.
