Hi,
I recently came back to warframe (since 2 years) to find out that lot has changed.
A lot confused me, e.g. the mod system and blueprints weren't instantly accessible anymore as you spawn in a ship instead of a menu.
So I remembered the last time I played I achieved the frost prime blueprint from a rare event or something.
But I still need to get the parts.
Now the problem is that I see on various posts on the internet that the parts are no longer available and were only available til 5th of january.

But on other sites I read that they are still accessible through void missions.

So I'm kind of confused what is true.
So my question is:
Do I have to wait again for a new period to get the frost prime parts or are they already accesable now?

But the main problem is that atm this game is in Beta so it can be game related.

Just wondering, has there been found more information about the culprit already?
I am awaiting new information and hoping for possible fixes/improvements/information soon.

At which resolution do you play?
What is your graphic card?
Make sure you have the latest drivers.
can you make a screenshot of it?

looks like the problem lies somewhere with your graphic card or drivers. which graphic card do you have? also wouldn't hurt to post the rest of your specs.

that happend to me in the past when update 7 was just released, haven't experience it anymore though lately.

You do have a pretty old system, but I have tried this game out on an older processor and noticed it will run on low settings as long as you have enough memory and GPU to handle it. I agree with BoogieMan82 on the memory issue. You need to up your ram. Also make sure you don't have a million other programs running in the back ground. That processor is a dual core and it is enough to run this game, but if you have a bunch of other tasks running in the background it will choke along with the lack of RAM. That video card is very weak as well, but the GPU should be able to run on the lowest settings with a lower resolution.
I'm not sure about that.
I had a HD4850 and replaced it with a GTX 660. and i got minimal to none fps increase.
My processor is a Phenom II x4 40 3.00GHz and got 8GB of RAM (which was first 4GB).
The only thing i didn't swap/change/replace is the CPU the game should run easily at 60fps+ all the time with these specs. but it doesn't
changing from low to high settings didn't matter for my fps at all only 1-2% change.
this game is very CPU demanding i think.
But the game is still being optimized, the devs know about people getting low fps in games, and they are working on it. best thing we can do is hope.

I found out that when you first start up warframe. and look at the menu screen i got around 430-460 fps. but after i played a few missions and stuff and log out to get back to the login screen. i get only around 330 fps.
this doesn't happen if i just log in and log out immediately again.

Yeah i had the same, it happens if you die and revive again.

that's funny because most people seem to report that their GPU usage is very low. something like 30-40% avg.

There are a few different threads that share many similarities with the posts found in this one. We are aware of what is causing the issue and hope to have some more information in the future.
i'm curious what the cause of it was. can't wait for more information and possible fixes :)

Yeah i also discovered that the gpu and cpu usage is very low while running the game.. but the fps is not even high when that happens. when i have around 20 fps some times the gpu and cpu load are around 40% that's not how it is supposed to be. which means it can't be my hardware that causes the fps drops. i hope they decide to put more pressure on the hardware for us to get better fps.

I also had this problem but when i try to open multiple lockers real quick. it still said "press x to open storage locker" or something like that for like the rest of the mission.

well I basically can't see anything but my health shield and the minimap while ingame. What it shows on screen is well a bunch of deformed shapes and usually i cannot see my character either. Could i get any help with this.
Hmm that's weird, could you make a screenshot of it and post it here?
I sometimes do have the problem that my character is not shown, but thats only for a couple of seconds then it is visible again.
make sure your have all the game files(maybe try reinstalling the game) and that your graphics card driver is up to date.

There are many people with this problem, including me.
The devs are aware of this and are looking into a solution. there is nothing you can do about it. but just make sure you tried these things just in case:
- install latest drivers
- set everythng to minimal/off and see if the fps is better (didn't work for me though)
- See if you have good fps in games like bf3. to make sure it's (possibly) not your hardware.

Hi, as you already said your system isn't that good.
it's quite old.
but even though i also have fps problems. the devs are looking into this problem.
in the meantime could you give more info:
- motherboard model
- average fps in game
- which settings do you play on
even though i don't realy think it matters in your situation because your pc is just too old. i'm sorry.

So I just jumped into the game a few days ago, and I really enjoy it.
I can run the game just fine with 60 + framerates at low settings, but once it starts getting messy with a full group of friends, the framerate goes down, it's not unplayable for sure, but it just bothers me.
I have a laptop that can run most games just fine, and if sometimes I have lower framerate ( 30 / 40 ) it doesn't really affect the gameplay so I don't mind.
Thing is, in warframe I feel like going around doing jumps and slicing through swarms of infected requires some smoothness to the game, and as I said earlier, if there's too much S#&$ on the screen, i'll start getting around 30 frames per second with is just annoying.
Now usually what I do is I tweak the game in the .ini files to look really S#&$ty ( Because I don't really mind the looks ) so I can get smooth framerate ( That's what I did with Blacklight if anyone is familiar with the game, lowering the graphics to S#&$ level was also good because it made it easier to spot ennemies, had almost no textures, no particle effects, no shadows, but I still very much enjoyed the game, that's just so you know how little I care about graphics. )
Thing is, I looked around the internet and I couldn't find any tweak guide or something that would look like it for warframe.
So my question is : has anyone tried to tweak the game's graphics ? how so ? was it effective ?

Many people seem to have issues with framerate. including me. the devs are looking into this problem.
For me changing any graphic settings to low or max didn't make any difference.

This happens sometimes when I join mid-game. It'll stay like that until you go through it again. At least that's what fixes it for me most of the time. So next time just find a spot with glass and break it, then see if it works for you too.
just wondering can you break it yourself? i tried shooting at it once but it didn't break.

I don't know if this is a bug or just normal.
But a lot of the time i hear grineer's die because teammates shot them down from a far distance, but i hear it like they are close to me like 1 meter away.
I have the same with guns being fired by team mates i hear them like they are close to me even though they are far away from me some times. (especially defense missions is where i noticed it, but they happen in all missions i think).

Yesterday i had this bug for the first time.
The grineer shot the glass (or whatever they do to break it). and the air came into the ship.
where your shield goes down and where the sound is kind of dimming.
Where you normally have to go to a terminal to get the glass covered.
I covered the window/glass, but soon after that i died. (the sound was still dimmed) and then i hit the revive button and the sound was dimmed all the way through the entire mission.
It's kind of hard to explain, but i hope the devs know what i'm talking about.
