  1. Hello all,

    I know i will atract hate just by saying it, because so is the internet...

    But it has been some months now, that lots of the big warframe partners just critique and talk bad aboult the game, and that makes me feel bad about.

    I know that the game has some issues, but for me it is still a great game, and to be honest, i feel like the game has already gave enouth... maybe it is just me, but other games usually doesn't have contente all year around. When i used play wow, the game would get really big content iatus from time to time, and all most all new content would be a redo from last update but with a new story.

    I don't understand about how much time it take to make content, but as i see the devstream, interviews and ect. i can see that DE has their hands full. So cry and screen like that will make a diference?

    Some time a go i was watching a youtuber talking something that i came to think a lot about it, he was talking  about a huge Youtuber that all his content became conplaints about games and companies in general, he wouldn't really play the games, or try to enjoy, all he did was catch errors and complain, and surprisingly people would follow him...

    I know we live in times where companies are not as reliable as they used to and capitalism is consuming everything, but we still have a good companie at our side, if we want to tell something to DE we have the foruns, they see us.

    I just wrote this because i was bit upset about the situation and i wanna know how the forun players feel about it.

    I don't use much of the forum, but in game, for me, it is a regular game, it feels like wow used to for me, i mean 10 or 5 years ago...

    People are all about their agenda i guess... But, if we can be nice we should... Feels bad to now that u may have been sufering here.

    I see u, but i don't know if i belive that, by this point i'm sure DE knows how good their "market in game" is, man, this game has the most fun market of all games... One day i will make a clan called "Warframe Commerce House" or "Warframe Commerce Center", or something like that and rule the universe lol.

    The store thing would be just one more option to use resources, maybe reuse something to incrise objectives or "routes" in game, and end up soil teh fiel for more content, i guess... But i see you u, althought this is a grinding game...

    I really think rushing through everything do not do justice to the game however it's the best way to progress so we can't blame people to actually doing it, and there is not much to do that is not a waste of time (pvp is not core game related, lunaro is a waste, open world is same as regular mission in this state), time that we don't have with all the grind.

    Damn even lunaro could be great. Just let people play in relays where some folks can watch you in an arena ect, it would much more lively and exciting !

    Also made a post about open worlds and their waste in that manner. 

    Funny thing, some times i see youtubers giving up content and complaining that there is nothing to do... some times i just don't get... The content comes slowly so i think, we players, should embrace it when we have it... i mean, i had plat to buy Grendel whole pack, but i farmed him, otherwise i would just loose one more thing to do...

    I see, i agree that the game must pursue "friendlier" content insted of just create chaos and double hearthed choices, but the potential is all there, i belive they would find a way to do it, i just fear that they won't even try, i'm hope i am wrong xD.

  4. I just woke up with some ideas, and if u have some just share too, no judges here, right?

     

    I was hunting my lich and i was thinking: "Well, we are reaching the point where we won't be able to sell trash lich (kuva weapons with low status), what will i do with it? Wouldn't it be nice if i could just desintegrate then into Kuva, maybe 5k kuva..." And then my mind started to race... : "Wouldn't be nice if with that much spare kuva could be spent like some sort of currency, like if there was a Kuva bazar of some sort, that would have randon limited iten per player by week... We could even trade kuva for some randon resorces, but the kuva prices would be steep"

    And then a thongh: "what if that bazar was controled by the Tenno NPC, like the Tennos regrouping and reconstituting the tenno concil (The Concil of the Eternals (already have a name for that too lol))" At this point i started to rambling a lot about the future of warframe, like: "since space mommy went buy cigarettes, now we have to take the wheels and drive, and so the Tenno starte to reorganize, but not like a force of justice, but just as mercenary group, traders, developing tecnologies, and even doing politics...

    Well, my thoughts went on, but i just realized that the game has still great potential for story... 

    Well, sorry for the bad english, and i just wrote that because at the time i thought i should, but if u guys agree, disagree or heve any other adeas just let it flow, maybe one day someone look at it and feel inspired... or not lol

    Ferrox second shot (spear throw), it great i like it a lot, it is no very powerfull by it self, but works masterfully... or kind of.

    I think it would be great if the spear throw effect could damage (not necessarily pull) nullifiers bubble, arbitration drones and lich thralls.

    Reason: Nulifiers bubble and arbitration drones doens't take damage from warframe skills, but takes damage from guns/weapons, so why ferrox wouldn't work against'em.

    Maybe it is my misconception here, but in the wiki it shows the imunities from arbitrations drones, i use Gas build, and Gas damage doesn't apear in its weakness or strenghts, but nulifiers bubble are strong agains Gas, but not imune. So it isn't based in my damage that it doesn't work, actually i teste other damage tipes just to be shure, and jut once inside simulacrum (propably a bug) it hit the nullifier, but not the bubble, end that happened when the bubble crossed the spear, but it didn't happened again later.

    EDIT: I just forgot, would be nice if u displayed the eletric damage too, cuz it has one and it mix with other elements.

  6. Well, before u could fast change weapons, hold the glaive and a secundarie at same time sounded as a benefit, now it is a bad thing, since u cant block (block is a great new improved feature).

    That is pretty much it ^^

    EDIT: Forget it, glaives can't block at all... 

    EDIT2: It don't auto block, it will only block if right clicked with melle in hand.

    EDIT3: It didn't work in fortuna, didn't work in simulacrum, but worked in sanctuary (but not with the secundarie in hand)...

    EDIT4: I'm playing, learning end editing, Secundarie and glaive equiped at same has no block, also when u equip both your stance change, it goes to a stance like "stral twilight" even if u are using "gleaming Talon". 

  7. The new blocking feature is a good damage redductor for warframes with low defenses.

    I can easily hunt lvl 5 kuva lichs with my mag right now, jus walking with my melee in hand is enouth. 

    Of course CCs and and other evasive skills helps a lot too...

    I mean, it helps, u won't get invulnerable.

    Everything multiplying on top of each other were silly and that's what made melee stupidely overpowered, but that's also what provided build diversity. Everything stacking multiplicatively made almost every mod useful because some "bad mods" were working together with "good mods" which actually forced you to make choices, I will give a few examples :

    • Sacrificial Pressure is +137.5% damages, Primed Pressure Point is +165% damages, Condition Overload +120% damages per status on target, beating both previous mods at 2 status and +1800% with all 15 status. Considering you can consistantly get 6 status on target for a +720% damages from the mod, since all 3 mods stack additively, why would you suit Condition Overload and Sacrificial Pressure/Primed Pressure Point for the low 14.4-16.7% increase it provide, compared to x8.2 when you could suit more useful mods ?
       
    • Bloodrush gives +60% critical chances per combo level, up to 12 times at 220 hits (achieved easily), so +720% critical chances. Why would you use Sacrificial Steel or Maiming strike for a small +88-150% than only result in a 9.7-17.2% increase compared to the x8.2 bloodrush provide ?
       
    • Weeping Wounds give +40% status chance per combo counter stacking 12 time, so +480%, which is actually better than using all 4 status elemental mods than only give +240%.
       

    This actually mean the use of multiple mods of the same stat are not worth using and more than encourage hybrid builds over pure crit, pure status or pure damage builds since you get more benefit by stacking crit and status than stacking only crit du to the additive value and too good Bloodrush, Condition Overload and Weeping Wounds.
    I think you got my point there, but that's not the only issue. Another big problem is some capped values, which further increase the problem, because instead of discouraging stacking mutliple time of the same value due to diminishing returns, it just prevent you from further increase the said stat because it's capped, and the cap is low enough to be reached easily :

    • Status chances is capped at 100%, it's not that bad but due to how strong Weeping Wounds is, with the +480% this mods alone give, you only need a base 18% status chances to reach 100%, which make status above 18% basically useless on melee.
       
    • Combo counter being capped at 220 / x12 make any combo gain mods useless since, that amount is reached easily doesn't decrease that fast so you don't really need combo duration exept to counter negative combo duration from Rivens. This mean Body Count, Drifting Contact, Quickening, Relentless Combination are not usable.


    This means you have no reason to run a full status build because you have no benefit in going higher than 100% instead of crit, and you have no reason to use combo mods exept for QoL, but you really don't need that.

    So basically, you get a ton of free slots from mods that are not worth using and status chance above 18% is useless. Since you have plenty of free mods slots, status weapons won't benefit from more status and crit based weapons will reach 100% status anyways with a single mod, it lead to a very obvious way of playing melee :

    • Pick a crit based melee weapon, status chance really doesn't matter.
    • Put Condition Overload, Bloodrush and Weeping Wounds which are mandatory.
    • Fill the other slots with stuff that stack multiplicatively, so attack speed (both Primed Fury and Berserker since they stack multiplicatively), critical damages, elemetal damages  and range.
    • If you have a Riven, use it but avoid the following stats :
      - base damages
      - critical changes (both regular and on slide attack)
      - status chances
      - anything related to combo
      - toxin since you already get it from Primed Fever Strike and generally want to go for gas/corrosive
      - finisher damages (because you know it's just useless)
      Also if you have attack speed on your Riven, it's recommanded to replacing Primed Fury with elemental mod or anything you are missing.


    Maybe heavy attack could have been good and encourage modding around them, with charge rate, combo efficiency, etc... but sadly, they are juste a worst version of Magus Lockdown that scrap your combo counter each time you use them, so they are definitely not worth using and modding for...
    Also, Gladiator set could give more diveristy since they give pretty decent amount of critical chance per combo, but you can suit these mods on Deconstructor, so it doesn't really work.


    Sadly, I don't have much solutions to solve this and and I make this topic to point out the issues I see and finding solution together. 
    The only thing I'm sure about right now is allowing status above 100% to encourage using status based weapons over critcal ones and at least get weapon diversity if we don't necessarily get a bunch of diversity in a way of modding.

     

    I see your point, and i agree.

     

    But now we can use more weapons, i mean there is lot of good melees u can use now, way more then before. 

    Also, about the builds, we need to do more experimentations, i mean since the update i can play Mag way more safely because of the block thing. Also some people are already doing builds for finisher. And belive me, maybe it is just a question of time the lots of more builds variaties comes up.

    The block thing will give a chance to use the squeshie frames more easily man, it is huge, i'm impressed by that...

  9. So far i have killed almost 30 lich, i like the systen, it is fun, but could be better.

     

    1- I need kuva drop chances from thralls back, since i have all the guns.

    2- Since i got all the guns, i could now start to look for better bonuses, but RNG is kind of a "dismotivator"

    3- Have a way to challenge your lich once u got all the words,

    4- Add some more micelaneous rewards for killing the lich it self, like chances to drop forma BPs and the likes, since u need lots of formas for the guns, or each lich killed also drop a randon rare mod.

    5- In all the lichs that i killed, i just got one ephemera, it makes me think that farming then is not worth...

    6- When i'm playing with a friend, if his lich doesn't have influences like mine, his lich won't come for him when he is in my lich influence zone, it needs to be chanceg too.

     

    So far i see it as a great addition for the game, hope to se more about it.

     

     

  10. I see your opnions, but have u guys tryed it? It is a freaking buzzing noise all the time.

    Ephemeras are things that are with the frames all the time, making then doing noises doesn't sound a smart idea for me, at least make an option to remove ephemera sounds then...

    Well, u see, i like it, but it is better when u get better rewards, right now i have no more reasons to do it, espcially because it is a grinding game, if i keep doing things just for fun with no rewards at all it will lose its meaning... at least it is how i feel...

    Besides i'm not sking for too mutch as i see...

  12. I had to hunt almost 30 lichs to get my Vengefull charge ephemera, and don't get me wrong, i liked doing it, but when i got it i just coudn't use it, the eletricity sound is unbearable, remove this ephemera sound, pls. Don't fix it, remove it, ephemera shouldn't really make noises right?

    It was more rewarding for me when kuva lichs droped kuva, now that i got all weapons from the kuva lichs i don't really have a reason to do it again... and to be honest, i'm really liking the hunt, but i need the kuva back, otherwise it is simply not worth my time... this game is really time consuming, if i can have more ways (and enjoyable) ways to farm kuva is better...

  14. As the words "quick thinking" and "kill shot" are not a real help as filters, i'm making this thread even if there is another one like this...

    Recently i was doing arbitrations with my Saryn against the orokin faction, and i was doing pretty well, but as i got near to 1h of arbitration i got a kill shot, even with full energy, quick thinking didn't helped at all at that time. I probably got shot by a eximus sniper corpus or a eximus bombard, but if i was full energy shouldn't i just stagger? Just for u to get the situation, my Saryn has about 850 energy and quick thinking is maxed.

    At the time i thought that it might be related to overdamage after death, i mean, the damage i took was a number of times my life, enouth to kill me multiple times and drying all my energy in one single shot... is this correct? Or is it a bug?

  15. Same happened with me just now, i sold a Augur Secrets but it failed, the player who bought (AlphaBlood0523) garanteed me that he lost the plat and received the mod, and i didn't loose the mod neither got the plat.

    ___---> Edit: When i left the dojo and went to my ship, i received the plat and lost the mod, so it got corrected by it self in the end...

  16. I will be short because this is not my natural language... So please deal with it...

    When a sentinel dies and ressurect, while playng with octavia, it won't get invisible again, unless u die or let the invisibility buff ends and reaply it. When u try to reaply invisibility buff without letting it end, the sentinel won't get invisible, this puts octavia in a very dangerous position.

     

    Sorry if there is another bug report like that, i just coudn't find one.
