  3. This is correct. DE did a great job with the NPE getting players started. They now need to add several more structured quests to carry players through the first couple of planets. These could be as simple as having a quest have them purchase a MR0/1 weapon from the marketplace and craft it. And having a quest that introduces the junctions. Doing a better job introducing/explaining the modding system wouldn't hurt. Bottom line, I think they need to introduce the basic game systems and provide enough instruction to keep people interested. Otherwise they will continue to have NP attrition issues.
  4. This system would have been fine at release. But your most devoted players have already farmed all of the Sister/Lich weapons - in some cases multiple times over. The addition of holokeys to the Sister/Lich farm doesn't help those who have already completed that farm. They are still left farming Void Storms with horrible drop rates. Tenet melee will still be a hard pass from me.
  5. You should always be using Oull in one of your slots until you know all three. This progresses the Sister/Lich faster for you and always stabbing speeds up the mission for everyone else. Using Oull also eliminates the "I don't know the murmur excuse." If raising Sister/Lich level is a problem there are better ways to increase your damage/survivability than hunting Liches.
  6. I agree with this in so far as the rest of the squad is actually heading to the door and are just slower to get there. I'm no so fond of the doors when my teammates have decided that every box and locker should be searched and every enemy killed. I don't really care if they box break but I do care that I'm stuck at the door waiting.
  7. And the entire time you are doing this you are preventing other people’s liches from spawning. Since this strat is primarily for your personal gain feel free to do this solo. In public matches, you can expect people to continue to ask you to stab your lich.
  8. The Yareli Quest isn't proceeding past Waverider 1. I checked with the Ventkinds and there is no dialog option after completing the tasks. There is no additional information in the orbiter about what to do next. There is no information in the in-mission Waverider popup about what to do next.
  9. Please. Please. Please revisit exalted melees. Using Deconstructor to buff exalted melees made it worth using those frames/abilities. Exalted melees were hit hard by the Melee rework and were not updated to allow Acolyte mods and similar. This should be revisited especially since they cost energy to use. Why bother when there are much better options elsewhere.
  10. Post your stropha build. Maybe someone can make suggestions to improve it.
  11. Supposedly Nekros does not work on the drones. I would recommend using a smeeta for the charm buff. I can't speak to your experience in Survivals but I got 87 vitus essence in 10 rounds of interception (resource booster, drop chance booster, smeeta). While some of that amount was due to mission rewards most came from drone drops. My strategy was to wait for a smeeta buff or the end of the round to pick up the essence. I got a double smeeta buff once or twice (8 essence on pick up). Maybe you will have more luck running interceptions.
  12. I’m not thrilled that the farm for the new arcanes and the new mods has been split into two completely different missions. Before you could just run SP missions and make progress on both arcanes and galvanized mods. Now players will have to farm both mission types. This is particularly less desirable when arbitrations are limited to one mission per hour. This may not be a big deal for people who regularly play with friends but arbitrations are a complete crap shoot with random teams (public or recruited) due to the joy of host migrations. Not to mention that now you are forcing players to play a mission that disables warframe powers to farm mods to make guns worth using AND arbitrations ELIMINATE PLAYER CHOICE by forcing a mission type on players. Not a fan of this game design philosophy.

  14. I wish I had your optimism. If only DE hadn't just added mods that replace crappy damage types with a low percentage to proc Slash and think that fixes bad game design. Seriously, if DE just replaced Impact and Puncture with Slash so many more weapons would be worth using and Primaries would be less bad.
  15. This is great advice for regular weapons. It's not particularly apt for weapons that only provide full mastery after they've been leveled 5 times. DE chose to require 5 forma to get max MR from Kuva weapons. This was a game design decision that encourages players to put 5 forma on all Kuva weapons. I think it was a bad decision and would like to see it not be replicated again.
  16. I think requiring 5 forma for the Kuva weapons was a mistake. Repeating that with the Corpus weapons is really horrible. Levelling each weapon 5 times was soul crushing. And the total forma cost for all of the Kuva weapons was not insignificant. Moreover, Warframe currently has been pretty light on new content that is both fun and replayable (YMMV with RJ but I found the new missions to be less enjoyable than the old ones). Simply adding a bunch of new weapons that require leveling 5 times is not a good solution and will likely increase burn out among longstanding players.
