  1. Today I bought Primed Animal Instinct from Baro, and i went to my Liset, excited to fuse my new primed mod. Only, when I got there, I had a very difficult time finding it. Because despite it being equippable on both [Robotic] AND [Beast] type companions, it didn't show up in EITHER filter.

    This led me to wonder if other, similarly usable mods behaved similarly. I was surprised to discover that the Link Health, Armor, and Shields mods, as well as Animal Instinct's original version, were all nowhere to be found in these filter menus, despite being applicable to both. I haven't gone through and looked up what mods are usable by [All Companions], but these should be found in these menus, imo.

    This makes me wonder what *other* mods that have multiple or special uses are flying under my radar that i just didn't notice I picked up. Because while I knew that I had this mod in particular, there might be mods I don't know I've acquired, and sifting through ALL of my mods (which is the only place any of the mods i've listed are shown) is a bit excessive for someone with a mod collection as robust as mine.

    This is what's wrong. This is why I call it a bug and have posted it here, primarily because Lotus tells to kill the guards off without being detected. But again, as usual (which is part of what's causing my salt I guess)when Lotus tells us to do something LIKE A NINJA, it's a pointless comment, and if I'm totally honest, misleading. The entire concept of being a space ninja has been sorely.... lacking for a long time. Probably because of how busted Loki's perma-invis shenanigans are.

    I guess I'm just sick of Lotus telling me to do things with stealth and then not actually being able to do it with proper stealth that isn't just a cheap cop-out involving invisibility of some kind. It's been a long time since I was able to play an actually good, fun stealth game and it's starting to get to me I think. I keep hoping it'll surface here but... welp lol.

      It has nothing to do with what frame I used, no one actually went on alert.

  4. So I tried to stealthily (lol why do I bother anymore) eliminate the guards escorting the bomb collar victim in solo. Upon beginning the stealth kill animation for melee, Lotus tells me I've been detected and the countdown begins.

    However.... none of the other guards saw me, and proceeded to act as though I didn't exist. So much so, in fact, that i was able to melee stealth kill 2 of the other 3 before I decided I was running short on time and just shot the 4th guy.

    Why do we keep acting like actual stealth (and not Loki perma-invis "stealth") is a viable strategy in this game? Every time I turn around I'm finding another reason it can't be used.

  5. If the datamass for mobile defense is on the floor of the Agility Test organ room, the datamass can fall into the floor and becomes unretrievable.  We aren't exactly sure when it happened, but we're guessing it was when one of us warped back out from the mod room.

    Very ragequit inducing annoying when a player who is not good at parkour finally gets the mod from this room after 30-45 minutes of patient encouragement and Grineer blast procs knocking them out of the puzzle.

  6. I dont really know what else to call this. I was doing the invasion mission for the catalyst, and stalker decided to spawn during my mission. no big, but he decided to do it in the external area where shields cannot regenerate. So, rather than suicide by fighting him in space, i jumped to the internal area. Immediately i was welcomed by stalker, and with him he brought my entire computer to a 6 FPS. not just warframe, my ENTIRE PC.

     

    The only reason i suffered through it was because i got a blueprint ive been waiting for. This short message took me about 10 minutes to write with all the slowdown.

     

    I don't know what happened but it was NOT fun.

     

    EDIT: Didnt even get to finish the mission cause the enemies bugged and i couldnt clear it. wonderful. An hour wasted. Problem's gone now that i closed Warframe. :/

Can we please stop making events with entirely B.S. win conditions?  The capture target on the last 3 missions runs faster than a Vanguard Rhino, backwards, while constantly hitting you with cold procs.  You can't even catch up to him to hit him more than once before you get cold status and poof he's gone, mission failed.

     

    Event fail.

     

    You should know by now that every melee-only tactical alert requires you to run an invis Loki. Get one forma'd up and win the event in 12 seconds.

     

    The Tactical Alert Badge should be renamed to "Loki Badge"

    There is a railing in the stairs. Looks like the safety coordinator got a little overzealous.

     

    EDIT: This is in the big room on a corpus ship where you fight The Sergeant, Hyena, etc.

  9. I support this motion. Scale em back to 5-rank mods so i can get more legendary cores.

     

    EDIT: I sometimes forget the internet doesn't convey sarcasm well. This is sarcasm.

  10. The manic is designed to keep you from running missions without durability mods installed. The "you're dead now lol" attack isn't going away.

     

    EDIT: It's also worth noting he's one of the 2 only non-boss enemies capable of pulling Limbo out of the Void plane. The only logical conclusion is that both the Manic and the Nullifier are gods among "men" at math.

  11. I don't main kubrow because back before kubrow existed, I maxed out all the mods for sentinels. I've already done all the work for sentinels already, and see no reason to level another entire set of 10-rank mods that are one or even 2 rarity levels higher than those when my sentinel rarely dies to begin with because I use it defensively. Both companion types do absolute jack for damage compared to the player's weaponry. 9 times out of 10 my sentinel doesn't have an attack precept installed, and as a result it pulls no aggro from anything. I normally run Wyrm Prime as Frost Prime. If things invade my bubble, they spend the next 20 seconds trying to stand up, giving me plenty of time to casually walk around, hitting them all with ground finishers. The sentinel also stays safely inside the bubble with me that I am using to protect allies

     

    It comes down to a matter of playstyle in some cases, and in others, realizing that this is a game, and not cutthroat corporate competition or life-and-death actual war. In my situation it is both, and I do not feel like I'm missing out in any MAJOR way by using a sentinel over a kubrow.

     

    Of course, given how this thread has been going, I expect some retort regarding my playstyle next, telling me I'm a worthless pleb Frost player who doesn't belong in Warframe because I'm not flying about the room parkouring everywhere at once.

  12. no one is going to complain, those guys barely hit players, no one worries about them.

    they are just like the powerfist, the day one actually hits a player, he should get a medal of honor, for being an outstanding grineer soldier, and the first of his kind to actually hit anything.

     it's not necessarily a player that's going to get rekt, it's the fact that if one is attempting to wail on the pod, it can be ignored.

     

    I had a wave where I was (inadvertantly, the pod's shields weren't taking damage so I had no clue) able to let 7 of these guys just have a slapfight with the pod, and didn't have to care. It needs to get fixed to avoid blatant abuse.

  13. They had one job, and DE broke it.

     

    So it seems the melee bug everyone's complaining about (in regards to range) also plagues the Corrupted butcher. As i type this, I'm desperately trying not to laugh as a butcher is making feeble attempts to hack away at the cryopod, and can't hit it.

     

     

    edit: Inb4 void farmers whining that I reported this bug.
