  1. same, watched all day actually, got the first drop but no Nekros...maybe it's still coming, maybe not, but what they showed today got me back into the game all the same 🙂 I've been too busy to play for a few months now 😞

Update - Just got my Nekros Prime after logging in earlier this evening - about 24hrs later. So I guess, hang in there he’s coming 🙂

  2. I’ve only encountered him once, took maybe 10min but I was alone. He went down easy enough considering I had to contend with a room of mobs and his deciples. Used Ash Prime with an Arca Plasmor - probably not spelled right - but Ash’s Invis lets him fire a gun with out giving him up. I’d melee everyone else,  with hunter adrenaline on to keep my abilities up. Just got to find the right combo... I typically don’t run the arca on Ash, just lazy when I switched characters, would love to do the fight with a non invis character though 😉

  3. Not sure what you’re fighting, but Inaros survivability is heavily linked with his first ability. I usually have hunter adrenaline on and if I’m in higher difficulty maybe covert lethality with a dark dagger - face tank any mob any day and heal as you go. For me his big problem is not that he’ll go down but that I usually can’t kill fast enough on higher endless missions... He’s rather a selfish frame that way, but a joy to play 🙂

  4. They fixed most of the issues with the latest patch, had to reconfig my controller and the sticks don’t work great in menu, but at least the gameplay is working fine 🙂

since this keeps happening from time to time with the steam client I would say it is a Warframe issue. At least was able to grab the year 6 freebies last night 😉

  5. anyone else have this issue? the game worked perfectly before the latest update and patches, now I don't seem to have controller support... Playing the game on Steam, I used to be able to launch from steam app direct and in big picture, now neither mode actually supports the Xbox one controller with full compatibility :/ Currently, I can't even log in when a controller is connected to my system it's like Steam has lost all the default controller mapping?

    thoughts?

I didn't realise that. I probably noticed but glossed over it.
I'll hang onto my statues (I'm too much of a collector)  but I'll definitely get rid of the stars

Best not to just unload stars - you only get a small amount of endo that way. In statues you get a min of 1400-1500 endo per, once I discovered the statue trade at Maroo’s, the game got a lot more manageable for upgrading. You can also net a decent amount of Endo on the Plains just running bounties, plenty of good players can help carry you too, just do what you can to help out and keep up. It’s hard to get in the mind set of, why can’t my frame do this... But the best advice is to build a new frame when you get stuck and keep expanding your inventory! Rhino will take you far once he’s built too, a good standard with scalable damage, also Oberon is super cheap to build and his parts drop just about everywhere - totally different game when you can all of the sudden heal yourself 😉

  7. No, you’re doing it right - finding teams to play Europa through Jupiter can be kind of tough, but it picks back up after that. And yes you should always be trying to level things cause more MR gives you better starting points on new frames/weapons, and higher MR gives you access to better weapons. It’s smart to take at least one weapon (melee is great) that is fully kitted out and leveled to fall back on though so you don’t get caught in a game you really can’t handle because your weapons can’t cut it. You’ll also find more players farming in the void just after Europa. I remember when I played through there a long time ago I had to just move quickly and push through to get access to the first void run. Took a while to find groups to play the other Europa nodes too. Just hang in there 🙂

Mastery Rank is pretty much your "account" level. You gain Mastery exp by leveling weapons and frames for the first time (0 to 30) and then you can Rank Up, gaining access to previously mastery-locked blueprints and weapons. Mastery XP accumulates beyond your current MR if you forgot to rank up, so it's never wasted.

    1) Go back to Venus and farm/build a Rhino. Best low-budget starter frame in game. Leave Gara for now, she's far less newbie-friendly and far more mod-hungry.

    2) Build a  Hek (I'm assuming that by Uranus you've reached MR4, right?) and try to obtain that Steel Meridian mod for it. Shotguns are cheaper (credit and endo-wise) to build than Rifles early-game, and Hek is an incredibly decent shotgun.

    3) Get rid of any Flawed mods if you're still using any. They're THAT bad and start working on getting enough Endo to level your Vitality to Rank 8 (9 and 10 are a bit costly). Then work on other mods that contribute to your survivability and damage output. Steel Fiber, Redirection, maybe an odd Gladiator mod, just look what you have and look up (wiki is your friend!) what you can realistically get your hands on in the near future.

To add on to Reifner’s tips:

An easy get for endo is the weekly treasure hunts out of Maroo’s place too - back on Mars.

Are any of your weapons potatoed yet? The secret to power in this game is modding first and foremost, mods make everything easier, even the basic ones - which takes money and endo 🙂

And yes, the Hek is a great shotgun - you can get surgical with it as well so it’s a good all around weapon. Also, if you’re looking for a good grind spot for your frames and weapons, I highly recommend Helene on Saturn. You can max rank gear there in a couple of runs pretty easily - and you can almost always find group running it for that reason.

    Good luck!

Well I farmed Ivara shortly after it came out, and it was so painful back then I actually bought her with plat instead, I did 150+ spy missions and got 1 of her parts. If they changed that i'm glad for it. But it can be that, RNGesus loves you...

Well I think farming Khora is as hell-like now that farming Ivara was back then... as two of her parts drop from the 8th round of SO... well it maybe not as bad with a premade squad, but going with randoms isn't make the thing easier.

Yeah, I think they let Warframe get easier with age - building a Gara right now and when she launched it took forever to just to build her gems, now them come in packs of 10 or 20 😉 I’ve tried for Khora a few times, but a lot of the pub groups I get into don’t make it to the 8th round 😞

BTW if you like stealth go for Loki and/or Ivara... but farming Ivara can be very time consuming...

Loki is one of the best warframes in the game, he shines in high level (80+)

Pretty sure that’s changed, I just built Ivara a coupe of weeks ago and all it took was two off nights of spy runs. Bring Limbo - easy quest get with a stealth kubrow. Pick corpus spy missions so Limbo can just by-pass every laser grid in the rift and let your kubrow keep you invis - this method worked for everything but the Kuuva fortress (you’ll need to run the spy there for a specific Ivara part) in which case I used an Ash with a decent duration and was good to go. Could have been the RNG was in my favor, but it seems like once I decided to drop everything else and just run Spy missions on repeat it didn’t take long at all.

  11. Same as above, but I will add that formaing a weapon is the only effective way to level it after you’ve installed a potato and maxed it out. This adds a really interesting mechanic because with the right mods and build you can make almost any weapon end game 🙂 I would however look at the weapons inherent strengths first though and choose polarities that that will suit it before investing the time. Forma takes a while to craft, and re-leveling a weapon fast only becomes easy after you’ve unlocked the right nodes to do it on 😉

There’s no limit to the number of forma you can put on either.

  12. Of the immediate need for longer missions, the easiest to get and very fun to play frame would be Inaros 🙂 And while you can’t heal team mates with him directly you’re nearly impossible to kill and can easily find room in your schedule to pick your team mates up on a regular basis. I’ll usually hold my own for several rounds and then eventually change tactics to sticking near the healers and nukers for easy pick ups. Also, if you pair him with something like a dark dagger and a covert lethality mod, you can one hit almost anything in the room quickly, after you’ve activated your 1 while healing 25% of your health on every kill - and if you have stretch with a decent amount of duration on, you can stun lock nearly the entire room with your 1 to protect your team mates or the objective, and finally if you have hunter adreneline on you’ll have near unlimited energy to keep using your abilities because Inaros doesn’t have shields so every hit you take restores energy 😉 to get easy health/kills. His only real weakness is that at times he can’t kill fast enough to save someone or the objective - he won’t die, but on higher level content you can still fail the mission. Mind you, I’ve gone through this whole post only listing use for his 1, he has 3 other awesome abibilities as well 😉

  13. Love Ash, he’s a must play at least! Use fatal teleport with a dark dagger (Ratka preferred) and a covert lethality mod for low energy insta kills at any level (I think). Duration for better invis, and heal with his 4 paired with a life strike. Awesome frame, just give him what he needs! He was my first Prime - a gift from Tenno Con last year, and he was great then, but I had just started playing WF and it took me a while to get the right mods so he can really shine.

Also, paired with the right tenogen, he strongly resembles Batman, which is kind of awesome!

Use him and have fun out there 🙂

  14. Interesting, this is the first time I’ve heard this argument... never thought they would increase drop rates on higher level bounties... can look for a farming group in the recruit channel and then just fail the bounty? Or would you have to keep playing through the bounty to unlock certain map sections like the cave - for example?

  15. I just can’t think of reason to keep them around??? They take up slot space, were fun level up for MR, but as it stands I’ve only ever forma’d one standard frame and that’s because it was early days for me and I couldn’t see my way through getting his Prime in a reasonable amount of time. Now I’m 156 days in and sitting on an inventory that is just about one to one, minus the specialty standards like Inaros, Ivara, etc... I’m just wondering if anyone knows of a reason to keep the standard frames around  once you’ve invested in their prime counter part?

Same question for weapons, my habit right now is aquire a new weapon, test/level it without a potato and if I like it after Mastery, than I potatoe and really spec it out, as a reward. But even in this case, if there is a Prime variant available I might just treat the standard weapon as MR fodder and call it a day.

at the end of the day I know the variations are generally pretty small in most cases, but there’s something about the Prime variant hook that always has me craving the better version : /

    Thanks!

  16. Hey Tenno,

Quick question - I'm a Warframe PC player these days, but I first started the game back on ps4 shortly after the console launched and there wasn't much else to play. I played for a few months and ultimately moved on, but now I'm playing on PC, loving the game updates having a great time, so I think to myself... maybe I should reinstall Warframe on my ps4 just because, so I do - I download the game again, do the updates and log into my old ps4 account - everything seems to work, but in the top left corner of my stats screen it says something to the effect of ACCOUNT PROBABLY STOLEN! Which is odd because it's the same PSN account, nothing's changed except the system itself, (my original one died) even the plat I left behind is still there... I didn't stay long, but I'm wondering if anyone else has encountered this issue and what they did to fix it, I've heard a fair amount of horror stories of people losing their accounts over weird stuff like this and while I understand it's been several years since my ps4 account was active, the fact that launching with my original credentials didn't expressly signal that I was legit is troubling. To be clear, I don't plan on going back to the ps4 version for full-time play, but I wouldn't mind having it there for fun every once in a while.

Anyone else experience this? Is there a safer way to leave Warframe and come back??

Limbo+vazarin school, turns the whole poe into a joke

How??? I just started playing limbo, but I can’t figure out his survivability when getting swarmed by mobs, inside the rift or out... I know he can, but he just plays so differently from my other frames. Had him for a while now, just started playing him for the MR - I like him a lot and see his potential, just not playing him right.

  18. Pretty sure the open areas require slightly higher specs... and your ram is pretty low, windows takes up more than you think as well. As previously pointed out, both open spaces are not really optimized and compared to the other level designs from the star chart, there’s a lot more going on under the hood. They each have full day and night cycles, grass/world physics, massive reflection mapping, and shadow details with things like flickering fire light. Plains and Orb are just different beasts from the other areas, and the game is only set to become more resource heavy going forward. I think they’re dropping support for 32bit soon too, so it might be 64 or bust in a month or so. What windows are you running? I think 10 requires 4gigs of ram by itself to run optimally before you even get to a game space.
