  3. Nice to see improvements about cross platform and cross save. With it one day, you'll have to look for bindings compatibility accross the different platforms (mostly for cross save), and maybe solving controllers binding issues is a good way. Please acknowledge this issue :

With the new support of Steam Controller and DS4, I want to highlight that controller players lost access to next/previous/use selected ability controls on drifter long ago... please add them back, have been hasking for months now... Here is again a link about a more general topic revolving around ability menu, that you are still enforcing... Funny enough to read that though : Mostly when you have been neglecting controllers QoL for so long... Support is one thing (and was mandatory), but binding freedom is a whole lot more. Why not give us as much freedom as keyboard and mouse ?

  11. It is because there is a confusion between previous/next camera target in drifter melee (specific to duviri) and previous/next ability. This is still unfixed in base keyboard and mouse config on PC and you have to manually unbind one or the other. To fix it for controllers, DE disabled previous/next ability on drifter, which is a big flaw and raises accessibility concerns. Personnally I have no problem with operator form, but concerning railjack, there is no "use selected power" control, and I have to use the ability menu (which is personnally awful to use, and in general breaks the gameplay flow). I don't know if my issues are specific to PC as I don't play on console. However, I try to play as much as possible without the ability menu due to my condition, and DE slowly forces me to do it, which I find disgusting and annoying. Like, is it too much to ask to be able to ask for the same binds between keyboard & mouse and controller ? I never wanted that menu, and I was living perfectly before it went on. Historically, it was always fine until they implemented railjacks. It was bugged to the core and was a pain to use... Several updates later, it is mostly fine, but still can't bypass the ability menu. Next item was the necramech. You just can't select transference with previous/next ability, and this is annoying. You can bypass ability menu except for that. I had to buy a specific controller at this time to have one more button to map that I could map to transference to completely avoid ability menu. Then came drifter. It was fine at first, although it reacted as you claimed : you could not switch ability in melee. Complained several times about it, and previous/next/use selected ability just became unbindable, forcing once more the ability menu to be used. I'm tired of this fight of non equality with K&M... I have a controller, I have had my setup functionnal for the past 10 years, all I ask is : - provide "previous/next/use selected ability" controls on every mapping - allow me to disable/unmap ability menu so I can map my controls without loosing a button due to a mapping imposed by the devs - allow me to access all abilities to cycling All these mechanics should be accessible to K&M, they have no ability menu, always access to previous/next/use selected ability, so actually I don't ask for much and it should be easy to provide this as it is already implemented. Except for necramechs where the design is flawed from the beginning, even for K&M (having 5 abilities and only showing 4 was a bad decision and is still bad design, that's a fact). I'm not complaining when they add a new mechanic, like the previous/next camera target, I could have coped with it alone, let me do it... and if advises where wanted, a quick stick move in a direction could be used to input a "find next enemy in that direction" (as it is implemented in so many game of this genre), but this require some expertise on controller gameplay which, I can say after 10 years of Warframe, DE does not have. Don't hesitate to details your controller problems here, even more if they are tied to transference and ability menu. I created this thread relatively to ability menu, but I feel like a controller binding problems megathread (or something alike) would be needed sometimes...
