Im not going to pretend to speak for anyone other than myself, because Im going to say things people will disagree with.
I played I think 5 games last night, one solo just to get the gist of it, one with all the modifiers on normal just to clear that then one with my frame (since I think I had limbo, Loki, and Quorvex as options) to get everything except the 37 point reward. (with 2 failed games in mission 1 sprinkled in)
But this mode is not fun and shows some of the recent trends I REALLY hate with warframes direction. Honestly I cant wait to get my full copies of Crescendo and duplicate so I Never have to see this mode or netracells again.
1. "we made it hard because its fun" no...Hard is hard, fun is fun, two separate things. I know there are people who need to be kicked in the junk by a game continuously to have fun but thats not everyone. And "its hard content" exasperates most of the other problems with this mode.
2. "everything needs to be 15min or more if it gives a good reward" netracells is a much more egregious example of a stupidly padded mission (as was the last assassination) but oh my universe....the time it takes to do the alchemy this week in a full party...theres no need for that.
3. "we know you spent years building good weapons and frames but here is some RNG gear that you have to use" this wouldn't be an issue if we weren't expected to play steel path for this, AND needed to use it if we want the top tier rewards. This mode would be perfectly fine if the modifiers stayed and the gear became truly optional. This is a problem extending from duviri, and guess what, I haven't done a circuit all year....not one. I have every frame, Ive built every gun, that doesnt mean I want to use all of them. There needs to be a way for the player to define a pool of gear they are willing to accept at a minimum.
4. "you can play as much as you want but there is no point once you get the rewards, and you cant get better rewards by stacking results". This mode needs to accrue research points every time you play, probably not all of them but 25% or even 10% would make it possible to get all the rewards in a reasonable number of runs without having to deal with having to carry all of the modifiers on one of them. And with no accrual\evergreen rewards unless people have friends theres no reason to keep playing after you've gotten your stuff.
5. "well I had to" so as a result of the above matchmaking is a crapshow, no one is playing to their potential because they just want to get it over. with so you choose the bad gear given to you at the worst modifiers and hope you get carried...because you probably aren't contributing. Why do you want me to be social if I cant contribute?
6. "this mission has mechanics you have to work around"...and you wonder why I play inaros for steel path...some of these are just brutal and break frames.
You can do better, much better, but some of this recent trend has gotta stop, the only positive thing out of this entire patch after what happened to Dante is being able to see demolists on the map.
