I wouldn't be surprised if this is how all of my runs have ended in failure, but I also need to point out that this sounds more like a bug than an actual baked in problem. Should probably post it in the bug reports section, just so it can be seen by the appropriate people.

I’d gladly nuke the Switch account if I could, not that I have much progress on the PS4 account but I would have liked a merge. Seems like a thing that could be allowed by having us link copied accounts first. They’re the same account after all, linking and then merging should be less of an issue. I don’t work for DE though, so who knows.
