  1. golden instinct is way better with very limited range. think 30% because it fast to cast when it doesnt find anything and costs no energy. making it very easy to eliminate large part of the maps quickly from potential search space of voca/plume/medallions. think like putting on max narrow minded and spam it like crazy until you get it to activate because it has no casting speed limit on non activatiotion. then when you do get it to activate instead of like 50 meters of searching you have like 25 meters plus some idea of the direction its in. then combine with loot radar to help narrow down where it could be.
  2. honestly. i had a thought of making ever expensive kuva drops from it. like start at 10 for 20k kuva. then go to 11 to 20k kuva 12 to 20k kuva 13 to 20k kuva for like 20 times. or something similar. this discourage massive farming of riven silvers but still allows for some excessive riven silvers to be spent.
  3. you and I must have very different philosophies when it comes to relic farming. step 1. i rarely "hard" farm for particular items. (what does that mean? it means that i rarely i am looking for exactly one particular item at any given time.) (the only exception to this is for prime resurgance due to picking the relics you need with aya) i see running public void fissure, I will often get parts that i need without ever actually running with the intent to get that particular item. or i get ducats. i hardly think oh, i am gonna farm for only for guass prime.(i literally got gauss prime from only public void fissures(nothing recruit chat) this strategy works surprisingly well for many items in the game.(the newer you are the better this is)(for reference i have enough items to be mastery rank 29 and yet still try for a more passive strategy than hard far this strategy is slightly offset by marking vaulted relics(with items needed) as exceptional for later refinement when i either feel like running a bunch or just happening to check out recruit chat. while, i realize you and I might differ in opinions. i find myself surprisingly enjoying the reactant mechanic(i feel like i am collecting more loot!) while many argue that it prevents afk behaivor( i agree) I enjoy the sounds of picking the reactant and then display telling you have opened your relic. personally, i only find it terrible when people refuse to help others with getting reactant(basically starting excavators too fast, running and sitting on extraction asap on capture/exterminate) when it comes to void trace(not reactant) farming, i am also often farming other things. so i will pick my void fissure based on what planets are available plus mission type. i will commonly get some of that in addition to void traces/ducats. this leaves me hardly ever running the same mission type all the time. this means more variety with mission than only capture or exterminate missions(personally these are my least favorite due to people wanting to go so fast that they often leave other people behind.maybe not even intentionally but still) for example i will run survival and try leveling items at the same time. and maybe hoping for certain resource to drop. this means that no matter what i might be my luck in one department(no high ducat items, terrible void trace gain or terrible resource acquire) it often leads to at least one being either decent or amazing. the reason a pity system will likely never be introduced is because of trade chat/prime packs. devs have said that prime packs make them a lot of money. and when it comes to relics. i dont farm them nearly ever. because they drop from nearly every mission in the game. the only exception i can think of is duvuri. however despite all my disagreements with the above i will agree with you on recruit chat could be greatly improved as well as trade chat.
  4. this has always been a problem for me. i dont think i have ever literally ran mission for relics ever even before they added aya. with aya well its kinda of an exception to the rule but i am also doing it for other things as well. (despite joining when plains of eidlon just came out) havent finished all the content there. (completed suprisingly most of fortuna and necralisk already)
  5. i have literally thousands of coprun, pyrotic, ferros, auruon. that are sitting in my account with almost no use. i wouldnt even mind if you had to farm like 100 of them to be helminth food. this is suprisingly not such a problem for some of the other open worlds because there is way to convert almost of the all of the ores to standing in one way or another for fortuna and deimos. i would love to have these be either helminth capable or at least work something like debt bond/token conversion for cetus
  6. its funny to me the people that spend vast amounts of time farming credits or even endo. in both, i can only think of two mission types where you cant receive something that can easily be traded for credits/endo. and that is duvuri and sanctuary onslaught and thats it.
  7. i usually very much dislike pvp modes. in almost every game i play. this includes but not limited to fortnite, cod, league of legends. Dota 2 so if this happens to be one i like then yes i am impressed. (and in fact, i actually had much faster full lobby matching in this mode, then all of the ones i mentioned above) i never suffered terrible jankiness. or extreme lobby wait times. i would agree dedicated servers would solve the issues of host advantage. maybe i just happen to have a lot of players . the main solution i found is using the accessibility feature for enemy highlighting. i just set the enemies to red, at 25 intensity and i could tell at a glance who the enemies was and who wasn't.
  8. originally, i thought it was okay for the resource costs. but putting more thought, i think the biggest problem right now with removal is that its only bile. i think they should do different category of resources for each color. like yellow could stay bile, red could be synthetics, blue could pheremones. and repeat same then with the new colors. it keeps the semi permancy, and resource sink aspects while allowing players to acutally experiment. i dont think DEs intention was a system that actually encouraged you to farm a particular resource just to experiment
  9. use the accessibility feature for enemy highlighting. while i would kind of like the highlighting to be built into the mode. it works well enough that i can easily tell whos, who with it on.
  10. i have always wanted to really try to play pvp. even if only for a few matches. the only reason i didnt play is because no one else did. despite trying recruit chat or clan members the snowball event somehow brings in enough people that i am not sitting waiting forever for a match. and the fact that every one gets the same stats does make it feel fairly balanced. the other thing that i thought was amazing was that de allowed playing snow ball means conclave standing. which is one of the big reasons i stayed playing besides the glyph! who else liked the game mode?!
  11. this is hilarious to think about in a like (omg why?) way. its big worry of mine that wispers in the walls will actually be super buggy on launch due to how close it is gonna launch to the break. given the scope of the update they told us. (even if the quest is more like angels of zariman its still a fairly large by comparison) edit: worse they wont leave enough time to get the biggest most important bugs out of the way before the break. I expect there to be some minor bugs still in but ideally the most annoying game breaking/progress stopping are removed
  12. i am hoping they launch it earlier rather than later. solely so that the biggest bugs get dealt with early on. I understand it needs to be at least somewhat not buggy before a release it looks bad otherwise but this isnt like games where you buy on a disk and your stuck with that version for a really long time. around septemberish, i was guessing December fifth. but honestly it wouldnt suprise me if they did the launch at the game awards.
  13. i beleive what you would want would be cross save merge to your pc. because your pc is the one with the most progress. (i unless i read your progress wrong and xbox is MR LR 3) once merged. you should in theory have all the progress on the new account.
  14. that might actually be interesting. though it does comes with some problems being that certain fights might be nearly impossible. thinking sacrfice quest and ballas boss fight because amps just cant defeat lvl 100 versions of these guys i just dont think this is gonna happen
  15. p problem is you cant simply do that. 1. story context and 2. you have to respect grind of necramechs/railjack. ok doing some really basic math quickly railjack is 400 plat necramech voidrig is 375 archwing is 175 add in the base damage mods and crit chance mods free, at half of max rank(gives players something to grind for later) so added together we get 950 plat lets briefly assume 25% off discount which means 712 buying two 370 packs each at 20 bucks at current prices would be approximately 40$ personally i think that could be lowered to maybe 25 or even lower i supremely agree with brave dude8 the only change is dont make new war and out right requirement but heavly warn a new player that the quest might not make sense without completing the new war.
