  1. Some rooms could be problematic if you don't have all the mats; what decorations would it complete and which ones not? Instead of this, I'd ask for a button to "contribute automatically" when placing a decoration. So instead of pressing the button binded to place a decoration, you could press... IDK "shift+RBM" to place and contribute to the item automatically.

And since we are asking for dojo stuff, can we also get a "destroy all room decorations" button? Since we have a limit on inspiration rooms, every now and then I have to remove all decos from one to make a new room. Going through the process of deleting every decoration one by one is another major pain. Can't we have something like what we have in the orbiter to remove all decos? Please?

  2. I like the idea of adding a bonus to the bounties, getting a double reward at the end by completing additional challenges is fun. However, I don't like how the cetus ones are managed. They, in many cases, are nearly impossible to complete.

Let's see the ones I believe are troublesome and their problematics:

Capture the target: In this one, you need to capture it without killing anyone during the capture. It would be fine... if it didn't consider any kills wherever they are done in the whole map. I've been chasing the target to kill it with Ivara and then, one party member kills a kuaka 1000m away by bullet jumping and the bonus is gone. Some times it's almost impossible to not kill anything. If this bonus has to stay, you should make it something like "don't kill anything in the mission area". It would still offer a challenge but in a fairer way.

Control the area: This mission sucks. Not only the bonus, the whole mission is awful. The areas are huge, the amount of enemies that spawn is ok, but they spawn in such a wide area (and without being marked) that sometimes it's literally impossible to see where they spawned (and if they did behind a rock...) so most of the times keeping the control of the area over 50% is a matter of luck not of skill. Either mark the dropships that are arriving or reduce the size of the area to defend. Even when the party is full, the area is hardly defendable, let alone if you want to do it alone or in a smaller party.

Find the caches: This mission ok... most of the times. There's a very high RNG component on it (once a cache spawned on top of one of the grineer huge buildings so nobody could even hear it), but more or less is doable. Maybe review where the caches spawn so they won't spawn in impossible places, but overall is not bad.

The other missions can be done and the bonuses are archievable and fun to do, but these three in particular should be reviewed in my opinion.

I have had Warframe on an SD card for months now and no issues yet  idk why this is suddenly an issue with Warframe, that's a question for DE and Nintendo. And that's the problem, no clarity on the issue.

It's an issue today because the game doesn't fit anymore in the console's internal memory. This means a lot of people will have to buy an SD card only for Warframe. Do you want to know how many of them will just get the cheapest SD card found on internet or the shop? And do you want to know how many of those will then complain that Nintendo or DE (and not their own stupidity) has damaged their goods?

This is the real issue here.

Do I sense a game card with a package like prime access😳

It would be a great idea, but then I think about the last "official" nintendo SD cards made by Sandisk that costed 3-4 times more than the "non official" sd cards (also made by Sandisk) and if we add the price of the prime access, I'm not sure how many people would be willing to pay 150€/$ for a 128gb "official" sd card with the prime access included.

Oh Jesus, you might have some cognitive disorder, don't you?

Have you stolen your switch from the store? So you payed 300 bucks on it. Warframe is free, but it depends on online services which Nintendo should provide. Which you payed for with your system. It's in the box, it's in the e-shop, you buy your switch together with an online support service which you need to keep up the game running and living up to it's live dynamics. If Nintendo is not delivering the service on this game, we have a problem. Don't call me entitled if you can't even make a simple consumer-company relationship, sweetie, that word might be too complicated for you.

We might have a problem here: you are considering that Nintendo should provide a decent (let's not be too optimistic and call it good) online service. I mean, yeah, they "should" but let's be realistic. Nintendo gives exactly zero f*cks about their online service. In all honesty, if I'm keeping my switch with me nowadays is just because I have a clan full of awesome people that only play warframe on the console and couldn't play with them in other platforms because they don't have them (and would be a pain to start on them again anyway)

It’s interesting question raspberry pi (some ultra small computer) has only sd card, and by default it’s has swap (virtual memory) witch constantly write/read/erase sd card. And lifespawn of such cards aren’t super shorter. What switch do, wasn’t raspberry?

Probably the main problem will not be the advanced user that buys a decent-to-high quality SD card (same as a Raspberry Pi user would do), but the not so advanced user that would buy the first chinese SD card at the cheapest price he finds it. I've been using Warframe installed on my SD since the launch of the game and to this day I had zero problems with it (granted that my card is not a chinese clonea like those you can find in Amazon), it probably depends on the quality of the sd card you get.

Actually yeah at this point we do. And I'm not saying the game is 100% for sure not getting updates. I just want to be sure DE has some kind of migration option in the possibility that Nintendo makes a boneheaded move because when it comes to online Nintendo seems to do what makes the least sense.

Every console had a migration from PC when it launched. Even switch had it. This means that migrating the data from Switch to, at least, PC, should be possible given that the other way definitely is. So I wouldn't be worried about that.

Talks about lack of evidence, begins talking about a Switch Pro.

    First, I've talked about rumours.

Second, based on the history of Nintendo's "upgrades", Switch Pro is almost a reality. Every Nintendo Handheld console had an upgrade. And I'm sure that WiiU would have had one had it been a success.

But hey, let's think the game is doomed and bla bla, we have much better evidence of it than we have of a possible Switch pro, do we?

Also those new players will care if the switch stops receiving updates. Who wants to play a live service game that's no longer being serviced?

There is absolutely zero evidence the game would stop receiving updates as of today. Besides, if we want to think about the problem, then the console itself is screwed: any game could potentially destroy the SD given how everything is evolving into GaS. And if the trend continues, on switch can only happen two things: we get cut off of any kind of third party GaS type of game (and of any modern game actually, given the amount of updates the games nowadays get), or we start to get used to changing our SD cards every couple of years (instead of having them for the long life they are expected to have). There's a third option: Nintendo recognizes their mistake on Switch design, creates a new model with bigger memory and makes a public announcement about them doing it wrong. But who am I trying to fool? This is Nintendo, they never, ever, will recognize they've done something wrong. They'll just bury it as if it never happened and will continue with their ways.

Honestly, if things are this bad, Warframe is the less of our problems here, if we want to think that because of this, warframe will not receive more updates, the consequence of this is much bigger than just killing the game on Switch.

But enough of all this stuff, let's be positive here:

Point A: DE and Panic Button invested money on this, I'm pretty sure they don't want to kill this project after just one year of making it possible and after all the support given to it till now.

Point B: Nintendo is stubborn, sometimes too much, but they are not idiots; not all of them at least. If this issue is this big, there must be someone at Nintendo thinking that maybe if this happens with Warframe, then it could happen sooner or later with any other game; I'm pretty sure even at Nintendo, as stubborn as they are, anyone could think of how potentially catastrophic could be what's starting as a small problem in Warframe.

Point C: We've been hearing rumours of a Switch Pro for a while now, and we know Nintendo was the first ever to make several versions of the hardware with better capabilities (they started with GBA SP, then DS Lite, DSi, New 3DS...), a Switch Pro would, theoretically, include more internal memory, solving also this problem and letting warframe live in Switch (in the Pro version).

  10. I've seen today one of those, sort of. In The old blood switch post (the first post of the switch announcements forum) some guy in the page 22 of the post quoted the whole first post (with all the fixes, pictures, everything) just because. The post was lately edited to remove the quote. 😂

Some people spent all of their syndicate standing to buy relic packs because we got red text saying it went live. I saved mine and have now lost  out  on 28k standing per day  or roughly 10 relic packs and counting.

First of all, if they did it, it's their fault. Relics come ALWAYS after a hotfix. We saw the red text but we never saw the hotfix so if people were intelligent enough, wouldn't have bought all the relic packs.

Second, you've "lost 28k standing per day"? Uh... why? can't you buy mods to sell? I'm pretty sure there's at least one or two mods on each syndicate that sells like hotcakes. Besides, you could still get saryn and valkyr relics from the packs that will raise their price after the vaulting.

Your entitlement is so off the charts that looks even satire. The problem is on nintendo's side, DE is trying to make it up with us by giving us stuff even though they don't have to and you're saying they are "pathetic"? Dude, grow up. It's a damn game, nobody is going to die if we have to expect a couple of weeks to get the primes. Last vault was on for 2 months and a half, I'm absolutely sure that you'll be "fine" if you farm less relics for a change. It's ok if you don't get to farm 5k relics of each frame, I'm pretty sure 4.5k relics of each frame will do "just fine" even for your apparently high standards.

They didn`t just make the grind for resources difficult, they made it painfull. Be you MR16 or MR1, 35 neurodes, 30 orokin cells, and 6 million credits are too much of a blow to anyone`s sanity to farm for. It`s reasonable to believe that only vets and lunatics are going to experience railjack, since the other 80% of the playerbase are just gonna give up after seeing the amount of grind that is necessary on their part.

35 Neurodes: Go kill Alad V in Jupiter and you'll leave with at least 2-3 each run (if not more). Orokin cells: if you've been using Helene to level up your frames, you should have more than enough. Credits: oh come one, this one is even easier: there's index for a reason jeez!

If you've been playing the game for a while (an MR16 should have if they've arrived that far) and you've been doing more than just going to hydron to max things (aka you've been playing the whole game), most of the resources will be already in your inventory. Sure, you'll have to choose either to build the railjack or keep leveling weapons, but you know? That's life: make choices. Get used to it.

And no, for god sake, stop pretending this is something an MR1 should build. It's not. DE already said it, this is someone intended for the people that it's been playing to the game for a while, it's a pseudo-endgame. You don't have to get access to everything from day 1, and that's here and in every single online game. Stop acting as if a MR1 had nothing to do except building a railjack. The game has a ton of content before you arrive to the railjack. Do you complain every time WoW launches an expansion and they put it behind a level lock? Or are you being just entitled here?

  15. Mandatory "Railjack is too expensive, new players should be able to get it day one instead of enjoy the rest of the game while they arrive to it" topic of the day.

Seriously, can we get a ban on this kind of topics? It's been already discussed and it's like beating a dead horse. If you think the railjack is too expensive for you, then you are clearly not ready to build it. Keep playing and you'll get there. You don't need to do everything the day it releases, and don't tell me that you have everything done already because you're just MR10, you didn't even unlock all the weapons of the game yet.

It all has to do with the fact that solid state storage has a finite number of read/write actions before it breaks down and stops working. I had thought that this was a non issue as the industry has gotten to the standard of trillions of read/write cycles before you can expect to see any degradation (excluding other types of failures)

Evidently SD cards are held to different standards which i suppose is to be expected given the issue with bootleg cards the market is currently struggling with.

As for optimization, the hell are you smoking? Unless your playing solo or doing early star-map content where fewer things spawn the game chugs. Hell you cant even load into Orb Vallis with a full squad in the elevator without everyone crashing. I highly doubt that everyone in my clan has a broken switch including the 2 that I own.

The game is not “smooth,” not by a long shot. It runs and considering what the switch has that is impressive. But there is plenty of other games that are better optimized for the console and there is plenty of room for improvement. Personally after rising tide drops for us Nintennos I really wish DE would focus on performance improvements for a bit especially when it comes to Orb Villas and plains frame rates, not that i expect that much out of the console, and load times.

It really frigging sucks when it takes 5 minutes just to get out of the gate. Stack that delay up a few times and you start missing out on potential captures.

Dude, usual times for loading Fortuna and the plains for me and my party is about 2 mins, never had 5 minutes of loading, like... Ever. It might be because of slow internet connections or slow SD cards, keep in mind that to load the plains, the host must load first and the rest later, so if the host has a slow speed connection or SD, it will take a lot more to load. Same for the rest. And about the crashes while loading It's been months that I don't experience one (nor anyone in my clan). If you're not doing it already, I recommend you to not leave warframe in standby when you put your console to sleep, but to close it completely and launch it every time you want to play. Doing this I reduced the amount of crashes to almost zero before the last update (that furtherly reduced them to a point where now they are a very rare event).

I agree however in the performance issues, but I'm not too optimistic with it, the fact the game runs on Switch is already an impressive feat, and in most non-open world missions the performance is decent even with lots of enemies (obviously there's a point where it drops, but still, it's impressive).

Yes, there are plenty of games better optimized but they rarely (if ever) have so many things happening in the screen at the same time. The amount of stuff that goes during a mission in warframe is hardly seen in any other game, so I'd say the game is very very well optimized considering everything.
