  1. Zaws are some of the spaghettiest stuff in the game. For a very long time you couldn't even use weapon skins on them because their stats were tied to the meshes or something like that. So yeah, higher than zero chance that the sheath bug somehow goes a lot deeper than just visuals, and it wouldn't really surprise me if it is simply beyond their ability to fix it without breaking something else.

  2. Observed with Khora's strangledomes; made sure to double-check if it wasn't just missed shots because of distance or something like that, by placing some turrets closer, and then at near point blank range. The turrets do aim at trapped enemies and the shots do hit, but no damage is dealt and the turret multiplier does not go up. Double whammy because it hogs the turrets while other potential targets just waltz around! If it matters, I wasn't the host in the mission.

One can hope they are reviewing the pre-feedback of the incoming changes to make em better...

DE aren't really masters of balance but if they are taking this thread into consideration for adjustments then it's worse than I thought.

Equinox has the augment that splits her forms and the duration on the ability is so low that it is near useless.

Up to about 30 seconds per cast (if fully modded for duration, the only stat that influences duality in any way) of triple weapon damage aimbot would make Equinox clones a strong contender for highest damage output in the game. The problem is the AI that makes Equinox/Wukong clones wander around randomly and lose line of fire/shoot at walls all the time, not the duration.

Blaze artillery turrets won't move away from optimal positioning and can easily shoot enemies for the entire duration. Having a walking turret in Warframe is arguably worse than having a stationary turret, and Protea's kit is entirely built for highly stationary play anyway.

  5. Notice that doubling the rate at which turrets gain damage and increasing base duration by 50% means that in a very simple test scenario of a single enemy being hit for the entire duration, a single turret does about 3.7x more damage during its lifetime, for an average of 2.46x sustained damage compared to current values. And these values go up if turrets are hitting more than one enemy per shot.

  6. Good changes. Still wish attached shield satellites didn't expire until being consumed by a shield gate trigger - as it is, you need to babysit their duration (since you can't refresh them, you need to wait for the current one to expire), unlike, say, Oberon's renewal (which just stays on potentially forever) or Wisp's motes (which can be refreshed at the reservoir, which doesn't expire). I guess the design idea is that Protea is supposed to camp a spot and only move out temporarily with a temporal anchor activated, to then go back when it ends? In which case you just spam shield grenades at your feet to guarantee 100% uptime. But it's still extremely clunky maintenance next to Wisp's motes.

Also no, people, not every frame needs all of their damage abilities to have enemy scaling, especially slash/bleed abilities.

I have been also experiencing lag spikes for some time now.

From what I have tested. I get frame drops from 120 to 60 exactly every 1 minute and one CPU core goes to 100% during the frame drop. GPU is at 50%, so it's not a limit. This is in the orbiter without doing anything.

Almost the same thing here. In orbiter, not doing anything, freezes up for a moment at exact one minute intervals. Interestingly, there's a substantial CPU/GPU usage dip for me when it happens.

Performance reliability in general has tanked recently, though I guess I shouldn't be surprised with a game that can't even make its IRC implementation work properly (error 10054, with threads going as far back as 2013, anyone?). Weird that not a year ago Warframe was by far the smoothest game in my rotation.

  8. Imagine thinking arguing with GearsMatrix301 will make him change his mind, or just get anything anywhere in general. Dude has built an entire persona out of going to what seems to be every single thread, dropping some bizarro incendiary nonsense, and derailing every discussion so that only his (always, unequivocally, superlatively wrong) opinions are talked about. I thought ignoring him would make the forums more tolerable but it turns out his bullS#&$ output is so diligent that it is impossible for it to not spill into multiple replies from people who still didn't realize what they're being dragged into.

I cant understand why people dont want engage.

I was at that point a while ago but I have given up on understanding. Right now I just want these people to stop being a hindrance to everyone else, really, and like always in game design, you can't expect players to carry that kind of burden all by themselves, you have to implement a failsafe.

  10. This is the endgame of DE being too scared of letting players fail for too long: now people are terrified of leveling up their liches despite being perfectly capable of handling the content, because they might die once or twice in a mission, which has no impact whatsoever on absolutely anything.

Congratulations, DE, you have designed yourselves into a corner with your coddling.

scaling my friend scaling. ivara, sayrn, nidus, mesa, octavia will still be able to scale well due to their abilities. it basically comes down to the hypocrisy of DE to remove the means of scaling on one end AKA melee, but keep the scaling for warfames and many primary weapons like kohm, fulmin, zarr, acceltra, rubico

Maybe DE just doesn't give a single #*!% about those 5+ hour $&*^ waving contests and all your conspiracy theories are actually no more than collateral damage that comes with trying to balance for the content that the game is designed around and that the overwhelming majority of players engage with instead of bothering with ultra extreme "why would they even do that there's literally no reward for it" scenarios.

  12. Zenistar disc needed a nerf. 8 seconds of actual base uptime might be too much of a nerf, yes, but still, if you think it wasn't op as #*!%, your opinion is worth nothing.

Also, is there anything more predictable than Xzorn showing up in these threads to be completely wrong? Only that GearsMatrix guy comes close in how consistent he is at that.

And the second one revealed was already known... At this rate I will kill him by accidentally slotting the correct final rune before the mumurs ever tell me anything I don't already know....

This is my biggest issue with the whole thing, outside the obvious bugs. I could understand the multi-tiered grind if these played off each other, but nothing interacts with anything at all.

Well, that and the fact that the only way to really "ignore" a lich when you know you can't kill him yet and there's also no information to be gained by attempting a new combination is to deliberately suicide to it. At least let the lich leave and taunt us/level up on the way out if we just knock it down and do nothing for too long.

yep, we've all tried and here we are voicing our dislikes. anyway for me this change is wack, the  devs have let me down for the last time, they can close my account here and in the game too.

I DESPISE this mindset of "maybe DE didn't want this"

They left those mods in the game untouched for about 3 years. You don't give the player base something for that long, allow them to invest hundreds of hours into making builds around those mods and then heavily nerf them coz they were "unintended".

It's still better than not fixing it for another three years. I despise *your* mindset in return!

edit: thought of something else.  While the Vauban rework is great, it could just be me, but having a new bar on Ember made me completely disregard the frame.  I'm concerned DE is going to put extra meters on more frames in the future.  I can only speak for myself, but I am immediately turned away from any frame that has even more to monitor during missions.

yeeeeeah DE loves gauges now and it's awful, you have to play the gauge instead of playing warframe
