  1. Hey, would be a possibility to have a slide bar for invisibility on the accessibility menu, something like a transparency bar and/or glow bar? With this would be possible to customize invisibility on all frames. 
    Also, AutoMelee doesn't work on chroma when Spectral Scream is active.

  3. Just as said in the title, tested in Duviri and on normal starchart missions, with different melee weapons and all.

    Tapping E works as normal, but auto melee doesn't.

    Also, it shows that Chroma is "unarmed", in the melee weapon name placed on the mission hud.


    spectral scream with the elemental ward, both at different elements make a nice pair for a condition overload melee build. It's a shame that auto melee is bugged for this specific playstyle.

  5. Yep, i've noticed that also, but if you finish the mission close and looking to your companion, you get the full xp back...

    EDIT: Nah, forget about it, it resets on each wave....

    Thats the Idea, sorry if I was not to very clear, and thanks for telling that it also feels more natural to you.

    Thats a good one, R its also a cancel for weapon charged shots, so will also feel natural to use.

  7. We have known that we still got a last phase of the melee 3.0 on the way, but I'm going to give a little idea of possible keybinding that looks less "chaotic" in my opinion.

    • Today we have the following bindings:
      • F=Cycle between fire weapons.
      • E=Quick melee.
      • Hold F=Enter melee mode.
        • Once in melee mode:
          • E or LMB=Quick melee.
          • MMB=Heavy attack.
          • RMB=Block.
          • F=Exit melee mode.
    • On the current one, we have some problems:
      • You can't use your weapon alt-fire while on melee mode.
      • You cant go back to shooting before deactivate your melee mode.
    • Next, we have a possible alternative:
      • F=Cycle between fire weapons.
      • Hold F=Summon Heavy weapon.
      • E=Quick melee.
      • Hold E=Enter melee mode.
        • Once in melee mode:
          •  E=Quick melee. (or LMB as alt key on options, We already have this on the game)
          • Hold E=Heavy attack. (or Hold LMB or tap MMB, again, letting we choose on the options)
          • R=Block. (we don't need the reload key when meleeing) (or RMB)
          • Tap F or RMB=Exit melee mode back into the last weapon. (only F if you put RMB for blocking)

    What we get :

    • With "Hold F" now unbound, we can put a hotkey for archwing weapons
    • This keeps our mouse free for using our fire weapons
    • Also lets you choose to change to "Classic melee" in the options menu.

     

  8.  After spending some time on embers kit, I've got some ideas on little changes that in my opinion would make her more pleasant to play: 

      When using Immolation, if the meter gets to the 90% damage reduction, we get an energy drain until we use her 3rd ability to "reduce the heat", but there's a problem, Fireblast also consumes energy, more than immolation itself. So, lots of players just turn it off and on again... A solution for this can be a free cast of Fire Blast once you got to the full meter of Immolation, the energy drain will stay as is, until you cast it. so you do not need to spend energy to preserve energy anymore.

     But there's is a problem with that, and this problem is called Inferno, its impact on immolation heat increase to be exact. As it stays now, the amount of heat increase you get by casting on 10, 20, 50 enemies, and so on, is the same, even when not hitting anybody.

     We can see with just the change to Immolation above, players would just spam Inferno looking to a wall and then using the many free casts of Fireblast to wipe rooms not spending a single energy. For this, the amount of Immolation heat increase for Inferno needs to scale by the number of enemies hit by it and also slowly increase by the fire that spreads amongst them.
     With these changes, a player when starting a mission will enable Immolation as usual, and after spending some energy with Inferno casts, gets a free cast of Fireblast, and unlike its now, you only get penalized for holding it for a rather long amount of time, instead of getting it at the moment you hit 90% DR on Immolation...

    Yep, Happening as well with my dokrahm, also a two handded one: dokrahm+shtung+ekwana jai II.

    DE made it clear that they intended to balance all status procs, so the underperformance of gas is something that players should really tell and show that it seems wrong ... and not just be conformist about it..
