    First, this isn't a "replace forma with aya" request, it's a request to be able to replace forma with aya by choice.  other than that, aya fragments/aya for forma is a really nice suggestion

I'm talking about fall off here.  The regular brakk has a falloff of 60% at max range, which leaves 40% damage.  Kuva Brakk has a falloff of NINETY SIX PERCENT, leaving 4% damage, or 10% of the regular's damage.  Similarly, the kohm has 46.67% falloff, leaving 53.33% damage, while the kuva kohm has 93.75% falloff, leaving 6.25% damage, for about 12% of the regular's damage.

    I understand that you're trying to balance the weapons, but that's just ridiculous, especially considering the drakgoon didn't get any similar reductions (don't you dare nerf the kuva drakgoon because of this) and the BRAMMA EXISTS.  I'm not even asking for much, even half of the regular's damage is fine, but as it is it's just ludicrous.

    Regardless, doesn't change the silliness of the argument either way.  On top being practically mandatory in groups, the short time window makes people incredibly selective and impatient to people who don't have the "perfect" setups.  I find queuing with randoms actually more pleasant than trying to find specific groups, and that's such a shot in the dark I usual just ignore that Eidolons and arcanes even exist anymore.

     

    I solo gian point just as fast as being in a squad, as well randoms don't waste my resources.

    You do realise you're just pointing out reasons that eidolons being squad exclusive is undesirable right?  Over exclusive matchmaking, or risking randoms.

    just try it out in game/simulacrum. while the numbers look different, practically, with the armor changes and everything, the shotguns i have seem to proc roughly the same. just be aware that some procs need to be stacked now and there have been some major changes to their effects too. blame DE for making so many changes to so many systems at once that we can't tell what is what and basically have to relearn damage from scratch.

    I did try it out in game, going from all of my pellets applying status to a third of them applying status.  Not to mention shotguns can only proc one type of status effect per shot.
