  1. All I know is I used to run down hallways bashing "E" and knocking things around. Now the damned stance mods kick in and I swing twice then do some stupid dancing, leaping, twisty flipping nonsense, hitting nothing, and stopping my movement. So much for the "combat fluid motions ". Dufaq does that even mean? Combat fluid daisy chain of unstoppable animations that completely crowd controls you? I just tap the button twice then sit back and watch this unstoppable ballet of actions I never intended to queue up.
  2. I've been in that boat for years now. I want to go 100% Linux, 0% Windows so bad I can taste it, but sadly, there are just too many things that simply can not be done, or require way too much extra hacking around to get working. Video editing, music recording, Bluray movies, Hell, even software to control/customize my mouse doesn't exist for Linux, etc. As for Warframe, I tried it with Steam Proton + Gloriouseggroll's Proton-4.6-GE-2 and it worked pretty darn good on Xubuntu 18.04. Nowhere near as good as on Windows though, sadly. I got about ~122 FPS in Plains of Eidolon...sounds great, but it felt like a micro-stuttering 30-40. It was just not smooth. Once inside Cetus (populated City area) it was very choppy @ ~50 FPS. The default Proton 4.2(was it?) was missing sounds and seemed even more stuttery. Also my 144Hz monitor could only be set at 60Hz in game with both proton versions, probably a WINE limitation. All that said, it was definitely very playable and if I was a Linux only person, I would surely use Gloriouseggroll's Proton-4.6-GE-2 and be really happy and thankful for it. This was on: Xubuntu 18.04.2, AMD Ryzen 3 2200g, GTX 1060 3GB (driver 418.56), 16 GB DDR4.
  3. I found Steam + Gloriouseggroll's Proton-4.6-GE-2 to make it work nicely, running in DirectX 10 or 11. 11 may be a little glitchy? I haven't tested much.
  4. Every warframe I have played with an "exalted" weapon or the like on 4 has broken like this on me. Mainly Excalibur, but also Wookang. It just randomly gets stuck on or off or somewhere in between or whatever, but the result is Excal is holding a gun but can not use it, or anything else. Not loot, lockers, melee, shooting, nothing. I simply won't use them any more because of it.
  5. Big fat THANKS for fixing movement controls when using a mouse for forward! Not sure which patch, but it is so much better now.
  6. Still broken/bugged movement controls when using a mouse for direction: Right Mouse = Forward S,D,F = left, back, right When moving forward (right mouse) or back (D), then pressing the opposite direction before fully releasing the first results in coming to a dead stop and remaining stopped after releasing the first button, instead of reversing direction. Game breaker for us old school folks that use a mouse button for movement. In short, I can not change direction without coming to a complete stop first. Side (S) to side (F) movement (both keyboard buttons) does not behave this way. It stops when both are pressed but resumes moving in the correct direction when one is released.

  11. Just tried it, worked fine for me.

  14. How so? Can you set your binds as I described and not have the problem? Try it? Just remap "W" (assuming you use WASD) to right mouse. You can test it in your ship...just walk forward (right mouse), then press and hold back (S or any keyboard button? I use D) before releasing right mouse (even the slightest overlap causes it), then release right mouse...warframe stops dead, but should change direction and keep walking. My mouse and keyboard (and the other 3 different brands of each I have tested) works perfectly fine with this configuration in every other game...ever.
