  1. As much as I hate nerfing things, I'd rather want DE to do that than leave broken mechanics and other things in the game.
Best examples are or were Ignis Wraith, Saryn, Nova and Spin2Win.

That doesn't mean I agree with the devs philosophy of the game. They've been doing this since the game came out. But at one point it not only gets old, it just shows how lazy they are. AI needs a complete overhaul. Enemies need a complete overhaul. Game modes need a complete overhaul. Damage distributions need a complete overhaul and so do Warframes. That's my opinion though.

With so much content that has been added, it's quite needed, and that's where Warframe is dying for a lot of diehard fans. I still play the game occasionally because I love it way too much. But DE figured that catering to the casual player and not respecting peoples time is the best way of making money.

We are making changes to Magus Lockdown due to it being virtually one of the best CC and Damage combinations in the game. In some cases you can clear waves of Elite Sanctuary Onslaught without even using a Warframe or Weapon, and simply spam Magus Lockdown to victory. This goes well beyond the intended use of it and we are changing it to a CC only Arcane - true to its name - Magus Lockdown!

    • Magus Lockdown will no longer apply Puncture damage to tethered enemies.
    • The amount of active Tethers is now limited to 2 per player.
      • For example, Void Dash once > one Tether, Void Dash again > 2nd Tether, Void Dash a 3rd time > 3rd Tether, 1st Tether dies etc..
    • Magus Lockdown no longer affects the Golden Maw due to the Arcane killing the Maw and preventing Quest completion.
      • This also fixes a script error when Magus Lockdown activates while encountering a Golden Maw.

Thanks for making something else useless again while leaving the other useless stuff in the dust. But I guess no fun is allowed. What's next? CP nerfed to 5% armor reduction cause Corrosive is too strong?

Nah, pretty sure this is server side. It just started with one of the last 2 patches. My friend and I get the same stutter at the same moment when grouped or not. I have AMD Ryzen 5 2600, she has older Intel Core i-3 6100. We're in different locations, with different internet providers. We both get it in the orbiter, and seem fine in missions. Seems to be almost like clockwork every 1 minute we get a second or 2 of stutter/hitching, sort of like when a new player loads into a mission.

I suspected Discord may have caused at first, but we both get it when not running Discord as well.

I have the same cpu as you and get this weird, small stutter just like you. They really need to fix this, it plays with my brain too much 😕

  4. I find it kinda sad they never bothered fixing this gun. I had to roll a riven with minus zoom to make it even playable.. It would be my go to gun for everything if the self damage wouldn't exist with lesser zoom.

    Long story short:
    -It needs less zoom

-Self damage absolutely needs to go

-It needs higher base CC. (Seriously, you have to take a riven with CC and point strike into your build to make it even viable)

I wish they'd go deeper into weapon balancing but that would require them to actually work. Nerfing and buffing riven dispositions is easier I guess.

This is the orbiter, which is muuuuuch larger than the Liset (or any of the other landing craft). The landing crafts are essentially just shuttles to take us to and from the orbiter.

All I really want is some kind of glossy/reflective material to denote where the windows are, rather than the railjack just having regular armour plating. It'd help give the illusion of them being continuous from outside to inside

Edit, that little blue bit on the nose of the Orbiter is the Liset

And a landing animation to further show it

Do you know the difference between art concepts and finalized designs? Guess not.

  6. DE never liked efficiency.

Sad thing is though, open worlds have no other reliable and fast traversal options ready. K-drive? Good one. Operator dash? Nah, I am done with the exhausting focus farm. But nonetheless, that should never be a mandatory thing anyway.

This will just drive people away from open worlds even more. And I don't even wanna imagine how mad eidolon hunters get.

There's just one big question in my mind. How was this in any way gamebreaking? Twice the range with a 2 second cooldown? What's the actual effin point?

Warframe community is the same as any other community. There's the minority of helpful people, there's the general in the middle that vary by day people, then there's the other minority consisting of negative people.

The "friendlier than other communities" thing is just an illusion that stems from how low the failure rate is compared to other PvE games, no real end game to strive for, and dead pvp. This results in people seeing little to no raging during missions, since they rarely fail, and mistake a lack of rage for friendliness.

Although, I personally find region chat to be a terrible place to try and get help, I disabled it since most of the time it's just people trolling. You could try recruit chat to get a group to help if you need though, and forums aren't as bad due to people who respond will typically be more interested in helping..

My friend, you have some serious issues if you call "friendliness" > " a lack of rage".
