  1. So for clarification I have put quite a large amount of my time and effort into this game. As of the Warframe player rewind thing, I had 74 days played, and have since then played quite a large amount, not too much, but enough to get more things. I also think it is important to note I am a mastery rank 26 and tend to take very long breaks, about 1-5 months at a time. Then I return and play a ton. 

    Currently I am in a clan that I do not own, we had a falling out on Destiny, but still continued in warframe. Before the falling out I contributed 2/3 of every resource I own to the clan vault, which is a lot of resources as anybody who has a large amount of time played would know. They recently brought to my attention that I haven't been actively playing with them, yet I was still getting stuff done. They wanted to kick me for it. Or at the least take away my ability to do anything in the clan. 

    my Question is, Is there any way shape or form to get your resources back from a clan vault? I would love to not have my time wasted like that when I put in so much effort to help out. if not away to get the resources back, Is there away to report people for something like this?

    That would be great, and I know this reply is late af I always forget the forums exists and use reddit, however that may be great, but how could they make him fun and useful. Thats the problem in my eyes a way to make him fun would make him used in everyday mission more.

    So either an upgrade segment idea or just an improvement.

    Upgrade details

    Adds a icon to mods you have duplicates of that have been upgraded

    Increases endo gain from tranmutation

    Adds an additional riven capacity of 5 extra

    transmutation has higher chance of giving rarer mods

    transmutation has a chance to not consume 1 mod. 

     

    That is my idea in the segment, but as a console player whose search bar takes time, it would help for example to hover over my 500 redirection duplicates and see an icon saying (1 upgraded owned) it would make life easier. So if this concept seems to extreme dub it down a bit or just please give us consoles some ease of use.

  4. One thing that most people in my friend group can agree in is that there are some Warframe that are extremely good and useful, but overall just that useful. 

    Chroma is the first frame that comes to mind. Now while Gauss, Grendel, Mirage, Titania are fun and extremely good, Mirage depends on light and dark too work, and Grendels damage buff is good but not great, and Gauss's tank is good not great. Chroma is incredibly useful in most players eyes, however also in most he is not fun to play as. 

    Chroma is a boring warframe to use. I would like to know if you could keep chroma useful to the same degree, but make him fun to play how would you rework him.

    My idea would be changing how his 2 good abilities work, and a complete change in his 1st and 4th. Whats yours.

    This should remain the same. I think everyone more or less agrees on this or just wants it improved slightly because apparently its a bit buggy.

    1: Psychic bolts

    Alot of people don't like Psychic bolts but I was amused to see someone else below had the same idea I had which was making it a first ability. Psychic bolts is a solid first ability even if its not worth much as a secondary one. However, considering armour shred is already a thing via Ash's Seeking Shuriken I believe the armour/shield stripping should be removed. instead now this ability is going to debuff enemies with "mental vulnerability". 

    Mental Vulnerability causes enemies affected by Nyx's abilities to be affected for greater duration and strength. I think you could also justify other effects here like maybe resetting status effects on enemies but I wouldn't worry about that personally. Psychic bolts as a damaging ability with the basic Mental Vulnerability debuff is an ability people will use if only for the debuff and radiation procs. 

    I'd also like for the number of bolts to be affected by power strength and for each bolt to only target enemies not affected by vulnerability, with excess bolts exploding for minor radiation damage after a period of not finding enemies. It would feel like a powerful enemy affecting ability then, even if it is not a strongly damaging one as by spamming it a bit you could guarantee full coverage of the effect.

    2: Mind Control

    I propose that Mind Control is moved to be the second ability and now becomes a defensive one as much as an offensive one.

    Now, multiple enemies, up to three at a time can be controlled but each must be controlled independently. For balancing purposes the Augment now has a reduced damage buff for each enemy controlled.

    The defensive portion of this ability is akin to Trinity's link and Nekros's shield of Shadows. Each enemy under control will take damage received in place of Nyx up to a 90% reduction. You could work this multiple ways, either each enemy counts as a flat 30% reduction or each cuts daamge dealt by 50% for a total of 87.5% at three targets controlled. Either way this becomes a strong defensive ability for Nyx and probably her strongest damaging ability.

    3: I want to give Nyx a new third ability. I had a few ideas like a slow, marking an enemy to be attacked by allies, a psychic scream or putting them to sleep. There are plenty of ideas out there already though aren't there? 😉 so I'll leave it blank here.

    4: Let's get rid of Assimilate. Admittedly its a powerful ability but ultimately with the augment its just an invulnerability button which doesn't really fit the idea. Instead I'd like the ultimate to now be a slightly buffed version of Chaos, with either longer duration or range or both to compensate the energy cost and new position. It is really her bread and butter cc ability already and stands well as an ultimate ability already. I think it's more than justified to make this proposal.

    So there you have it. This proposal is obviously unfinished but I'm not especially bothered by that. The proposal grants Nyx some tank effects on par with Trinity or Nekros and increased damage potential. Psychic bolts is fixed to be a debuffing tool with some impressive damage potential with the right numbers. Chaos becoming the ultimate makes sense to me and removing Assimilate waas common sense.

    I like your idea, but in my opinion she needs a full fledged rework of her current 1st, 2nd, and slightly her 4th

  6. Before I get started on this post, I want to say 2 things. This is all opinionated, and 2 I play Nyx alot more than I would like to admit and lately she has gone up in usage passing half my frames. 

    Nyx is a frame alot of people and myself consider underpowered and basically a one ability frame that does not synergize her abilities. Her 3rd ability most consider to be her best ability, and I personally consider to be her best especially with her augment. She has 3 other abilities that don't do much without taking away from her best build.

    Rework idea 

    Passive:   Nyx deals 25% Extra damage to enemies affected by her abilities.


    First ability: Psychotic Blast
    Cast a massive blast of psychic energy causing enemies in an area to take a low amount of bleed (slash) damage going through armor, and cause them to be stunned for 12  seconds. Use this during Chaos to triple the damage and increase the duration based in the enemies affected by chaos.
    Ability cost: 25 energy

    2nd ability: Bullet Control
    Cast A Psychic Shield around you and one ally that then transfers to the your other two allies one by one after a duration. This ability catches enemy bullets and puts them into you and your allies guns. This ability creates a bottomless clip affect for a 20 second duration per ally and and a 45 second duration on Nyx. This ability's duration is increased by duration alone, and I doubled if Used while in chaos, and the bullets in your magazine double when shot. This ability cannot be cast till all players have had their buff removed.
    Ability cost: 50 energy

    3rd ability: Micro absorb
    This ability is now a brief duration ability that catches incoming bullets over a small area(, kinda like a non-spamable reverse mag bubble) It is cast on defense objectives, the bullets are sent back to the enemy who fired them, enemies that get to close are sent flying to the nearest enemy firing a gun or in a random direction, after they get up the next attack they do will deal damage directly to them. Players who stand in the way of bullets flying back at enemies are given bullets into their reserves. 
    Augment: The bullets are now sent directly to players within 15 meters or are held in the enemies guns jamming them for a 5 seconds. The main ability's duration is 25 seconds minorly increased to a max of 40 seconds. Ability Cost 60 energy

    4th ability: Chaos
    (A buffed up chaos) Same as regular chaos, enemies affected by chaos deal 1.75x damage to each other not increased by strength. If bullet control is up enemies will target teammates with bullet control more than enemies. Chaos's duration is decreased slightly, and range slightly.
    Augment: Same as regular Chaos
    Ability cost: 100 energy.

    Let me know your ideas below feel free to say what you think is to much to little this is just an idea, an Idea personally I would love in game, but yea enjoy let me know you opinions

  8. So Everyone knows the rerolling riven system is just gambling your kuva In hopes of getting something better wether its selling or applying it to your own weapons.

    I recently watched a video by Leyzar who was rerolling a kuva hind riven which he bought from another player. He spent 15 minuets rerolling ot with 85k kuva just to get a half decent roll compared to his last one. I have had similar experiences with rerolling such as my Fulmin riven got it for a cheap 300plat and then spent time rerolling it 40 times and getting nowhere. I have done this exact thing with my old now sold guandao riven, fuslai and astilla. All of which I eventually settled for mediocre rolls that made the weapon slightly better.  

    My idea is for example you reroll a riven for tigris you old roll has a decent stat like say your wanting +critical chance. You then spend before you reroll 10 kuva then after rerolling you not have a saved stat of +cc on the weapon and then you can spend 5k for say if you do not want +cc as saved spend 5k kuva to unsave it. The system would allow you to save up to 3 pluses and 1 minus. 

    Sure you may have to spend an extra 30k kuva to save stats but it would allow players who spend days, weeks, even months trying to reroll their riven. 
    Of course you could always sit in trade chat instead of playing the game and spent 10k plat on a riven. 10k plat which you have to farm a ton of other stuff to get, but at least its more reliable than the reroll system currently. It also takes the point out of kuva being in the game other than the bleeding body ephemera, octavia, and a couple other craft only items. 

    Pros of this idea: It will make the kuva reroll system more rewarding and less of a gamble than it is. It will reward players who farm for kuva more that they are getting. It will prevent players from farming 100k kuva just to settle on a mediocre roll on a weapon. The cost of trash unrolled rivens will change in trade chat.

    Cons of this idea: the cost of god roll rivens will decrease in terms of trade chat. The cost of most rivens will decrease at that.

    Let me know of I missed any pros or cons, and let me know any of your ideas, I hope DE sees this ot would be amazing to have in the game.

    Exalted Shield Warframe Concept

     

    Can aquire parts from Sortie Assassinations or something difficult (not extreme rarity)

     

    Passive Ability: Shield Integrity

     

    A later of shields orbiting Guardian runs off a duration and strength stack with Guardian's 1st and 3rd and 4th Will cancel all duration when struct with magnetic and can be damaged through if shot with shield piercing status types.

     

    1st Ability:  Throw a Shield at target. Each kill adds to duration of Shield Integrity. For every 4 kills the 5th kill add a pillar of energy that would work like a level 1 2zenurik depending on Guardions strength

     

    2nd Ability: Sacrifice portion of Shield Integrity to give to allies or objectives a temporary Shield Integrity. Cast on enemies to cause them to take increased damage.

     

    3rd Ability: Slam the exalted sword in the ground to send swords outward damageing enemies in a radius and adding duration for extra Shield Integrity.

     

    4th Ability: : Exalted Sword and Shield works like miniture exaleted blade less damage and range. Blocking will create a miniature volt shield that increases damage  if shot through and give up to 400 extra shield if you kill through it. Channel while blocking to place a 270° shield ( runs off efficiency and strength) once the shield is broken the damage required to break it is blast of energy adding to Shield Integrity's duration for .5 seconds per kill and adding shield strength per 200 damage released while shield is placed the sword part of the combo becomes a broadsword of pure destruction with slow attack speeds but increased damage.

     

    Feel free to leave any ideas below it's just a concept I still don't know what balancing would have to happen for it.

    If DE must resort to horrible grind to get people to buy plat, the game is dead already and currently twitching giving the appearance of life.  

    I bought plat many times over the years, never once to skip content because it was unrewarding and boring.  I've bought cosmetics, slots, weapon slots, decorations, load out slots, riven slots (and riven mods), arcanes, parts of prime items that gave trouble, etc.  I've spent more on Warframe over the years in many small purchases than I have any other PC game ever.  I easily had enough plat to just buy it but I can't get myself to spend on a game something that should be acquired through play.  That is what I've learned about Warframe over the years and what I felt made DE stand out as a developer over all others.  Now I'm worried it's only going to get worse from now on.

    I'd also like to point out that I have a solo ghost clan and completed all research, including Hema.  Grind with a known ending that can be performed in many different game modes on various difficulty levels is completely different from RNG grind on super easy mode with no rewards whatsoever in 99% of the runs.  I cannot stress how important it is for a game to be enganging and challenging.  Normal mode offers no challenge at all.

    There are many solutions to fix this ranging from adding lhora back to elite, doubling drop rate, etc.   I don't care how, but it needs to be fixed.  Just because my grind is over doesn't  mean I should propose leaving that garbage code as-is.  For the health of the game, it must be changed   I can't back a game encouraging addiction (and not wow this is fun, but gambling style addiction) to make money.  

    They need to go back to basics.  Back to what made them a great developer.  Listening to customers and creating a game they would want to play themselves.  So long story short, yes, DE really messed up with this release.  I just do not feel like they care about the players anymore.  It's just about money.  

    I guess I said all I can in this thread.  Yes I finally got khora and it's currently cooking.  Yes it took me two months and I feel dirty now and lost years of respect I had for DE.

    100% agree I've only bought one single frame entire time playing Warframe and I'm missing 4 frames 2 I have to buy chroma sold a part accidentally I bought Atlas when I first started playing because I hated Arch-wing I just don't like wasting so many fu**ing hours and days farming a single game mode I'd rather farm 6 vauban prime sets then this and that's a lot of fu**ing oxium

I'll be honest DE is my favorite developer for any game I've played except FromSoftware I've been farming khora since I bought a 30 day affinity booster non stop I have 6 days left and STILL no blueprint at all. It's one thing to make a frame hard to get but if it's this Grindy you have to throw you wallet or waste you life away farming it. Vauban a prime is another example of annoying in warframe 20 nitain extract 9000 cryotic 7000 oxium I love DE but alot of things need a fix
