  1. If nothing is ever going to be done about us constantly being screwed over from Host Migrations and loosing all progress and/or being unable to extract after then at the very least introduce some sort of Penalty to thwart this behavior. I get bugs happen with newly released content, but this has been happening for years and contacting support about it is almost useless. So many times we get screwed over by host migrations or hosts abandoning missions and basically being told "Sorry about your bad luck" by support is getting really fkn old. My proposal in the mean time would be to enable some sort of penalty system for people who leave match made events constantly, similarly to how Destiny 2 does for players who abandon match made events. The first time is free with a visual warning to not leave matchmade events because it gives other players a bad experience. Second time is a 30 minute timeout from participating in match made events. Continued behavior leads to account restrictions from participating in match made events for 2 months. This may seem harsh, but if people are as fed up with constantly getting screwed over by host migrations as I am, to me it can only better the game experience for everyone as a whole and stop this type of behavior from happening in the first place or getting rid of the toxic players screwing over everyone else. There is nothing like spending 10+ minutes in a mission and reaping rewards only to have the host leave at boss/before extraction and either loosing all rewards, or being unable to extract after the host leaves. Since host migration issues do not seem to ever be getting fixed, this seems like a logical fix to thwart that type of behavior from happening in the first place.
  2. I am really surprised it isn't in Today's patchnotes but,... PLEASE fix Qorvex’s Disometric Guard Ally buff ring from blocking line of sight. Yes, it does go alpha in ADS, but if you are on a Melee only build, or trying to strategically bullet jump, this large, bulky, and annoying hulla hoop of concrete is blocking your entire line of sight. God forbid, they dare to have some obscene color set as their Emissive/Energy like Lime Green, Fuscia, or other bright and blinding color (or what ever affects the inner glow of that ring). Not only is your line of sight blocked, but now you start seeing spots because of how bright it is. I really wish y'all would either make viewable ally buffs be toggleable on/off or allow us to set the alpha scale of them. At the very least, this is by far the most annoying of those buffs and has caused me to immediately leave a fire team if I am paired with a Qorvex player. It really needs to be addressed. Either by means mentioned above or limit the amount of concrete circling allies to 3-5 without the color effects so you have a break to see through. Alternatively, make the ADS Alpha constant whether in ADS or not. Else, I guess I will just continue to piss players off from host migrations because the visual affects of that ring are too over the top and super annoying for me to play with a Qorvex. I did around an hour with one in SP Circuit and that was probably the most annoying hour I have played in this game.
  3. I am not exactly sure what is causing it, many seem to speculate it is the new graphics engine, but I though I would shar my experience and how I have corrected the issue. Grantd its kind of a pain being that you consistently have to keep doing it when you load into certain areas, mainly open worlds. I have a NVidia RTX 3080 Ti FE and a Ryzen 7 5800x3d, I noticed when I log in or visit Cetus, Fortuna, and other open worlds that this will occur. I originally tried to adjust graphic settings from the forum and redit posts I found, but I also did not find anyone else having the half second dips. They were all more or less complaining about lower FPS after the update. Well, if you are experiencing the continuous half second dips as I am, try swapping your refresh rate. As soon as I do this, it stops doing it. If you go somewhere and it starts again repeat changing the refresh rate again and it will stop. Not sure what is causing it but that seems to correct the issue immediately, at least for me.
