I recently switched from my PS4 to PC because cross save finally became available, my PS4 runs the game worse than a sloth runs a marathon, and I'm not made of money so a PS5 is out of the question. Far as I can tell, I have all my stuff and no complaints concerning the transfer in general. I have been waiting for this for a long time as Warframe is simply unplayable on the PS4.
Now that I'm on PC though I have yet to play with a single Tenno. I made sure I'm set to public and I am running high play-rate missions like Gifts of the Lotus, relic missions; all low level stuff to get me used to playing on keyboard as opposed to controller. I also played these missions because I thought I was almost guaranteed a full squad to carry me when I have zero muscle memory built up. Problem is, I'm not getting anyone. I get the "Finding Squad" message in the top left, followed by the "Please Wait" loading screen. Once I'm done loading, it appears I have the mission selected, but the countdown to start is paused. It says "Voting on Mission..." but is just stuck there with only me in the squad. If I click the pause button, it turns into a play button, but again, nothing happens other than the node is now flashing. I press the play button again and the countdown to start the mission finally begins. I can play the mission, but there is no one to play with. I can't be the only one running a Gift of the Lotus three times in a row right? Somethings broken right?
The closest I got to having a squad-mate was when, after the "Please Wait" loading screen, I saw a message saying "(Player Name) has left the party" and went right back to a paused mission selection.
I'm rereading this and realizing how snarky I'm coming off. I am sorry; I do not mean to diminish DEs efforts. DE has worked hard to bring cross-save to fruition. I am thankful, truly. I love this game, but it has become hard to appreciate it as I fell further and further behind because my hardware could not keep up. I can finally play the game I love again, and I thank all of DE for that. I just want to let them know the problems I am having, and I hope that they can look into it when time permits.
