  1. I've been off and on (mostly off) the game, but I hate what they did to Volt's 4. Volt has been my main since the early years, and I enjoyed my Range/Duration build. Discharge was never about damage, it was about locking down the map for your team. Now Volt just feels like a wannabe kill everything with 4 Frame, which you'll learn very fast isn't the case in endgame (at least as far as I can tell). It really is disappointing.

If anything needed some love, they should have played around with Shock. Volt was supposed to be the alternative to weapons Frame, after all. Maybe give his 1 two stages of charge for increased damage and effect.

    Classic Shock

Charge one: A high damage shotgun effect that can blow enemies back.

Charge two: Launch a static charge that pulls enemies in as it travels before detonating.

    Guess I'll play Harrow now.

  2. If I recall, the player character's father called them "Kiddo" during a memory sequence in TWW. Then we have the mention of some Void entity that was watching them during the events in Void space.

Perhaps TMITW is said entity piggybacking on the Tenno in order to enter normal space. Maybe that entity is a Void corrupted thing born of "Father". It's a bit too early for me to go into theory mode... Take my drivel for what it's worth...

The part which I find annoying is that this event came bundled with alignment-affecting bugs which I highly doubt that DE are actually going to fix.

    There will be bugs.

Luckily, alignments aren't carrying any real ingame weight at the moment. It's another scenario where getting 'upset' is pointless, as we don't even know the full extent of what will become of the system and its benefits.

When the Alignment system is up and running at full speed, when it really does matter, it's extraordinarily unlikely that there won't be a means to adjust where your character stands on the wheel of Sun and Moon.

  4. While I can get onboard with being against increased RNG tactics and resource/price gouging, complaining that a Warframe can't or won't be used because of an event is absurd.

They've introduce some MUCH needed lifeblood into the game's lore via some creepy infested event (which is still in its infancy), and people are getting 'outraged'....about content....

This is a very dark, 'adult' sci-fi game set in a solar system drowning in conflict - what would it say about the universe/story if our characters never had to deal with any personal terrors? And for those that don't know, Warframes ARE Infested - just ask Phorid or Alad V.

Whining about some cyst on a Warframe, that will obviously have a cure, is silly. End of the day, Warframe isn't Barbie's dress up adventures, it's space ninja's killing anything that gets in their way.

It's baffling how overly sensitive some Gamers are these days - it's really bizarre...

Did you read the whole topic? I don't think so.

It's a pretty huge topic, and obviously I didn't. Sometimes people don't have the luxury to kick back and read 34 pages of comments before asking a question.

The time you took being snark could have simply been an answer. Merry X-mas.

  6. Definitely a well designed boss encounter; multi-staged attacks, atmospheric, phases, and even camera angle shifts to accommodate the progression of the fight.

It was very PSO-like, but more polished. I wouldn't mind seeing something like this in Warframe. Parkour (particularly our rolls, wall clinging, and backflips) having a more solid purpose would be excellent.

  7. Good thing Warframes are (so far) nothing but Infested, cybernetic, meat puppets - and the Operators are the representation of the human element. I guess the female Operators can start roiding out to meet your standards, but I doubt that will turn out well at their 'age'.

  8. A lot of other game game developers and communities would have had a completely different reaction to a glitch on this scale. Warframe's devs and community come together, have a great time, the glitch is promised to be fixed, and abominations created can be kept after said fix.

We've turned lemons into a late night comedy special. Those frigid 'AAA' guys need to take notes.

  9. No game on the market dares to touch such deep, moral and ethical issues as Warframe.

Should science truly have no restrictions? Should these abominations not only be allowed to exist, but to suffer in the name of progress and lolz?

I need to think on this... So deep man... Hats off to DE.

    P.S. Don't fix

  10. I haven't had time to test him just yet, but it's looking like he's gonna need some tweaks - which no one should be shocked about.

I think an opt out action would work better than a pick up for Speed. Maybe performing a back flip to break it, since a lot of people use forward roll to propel themselves even faster.

Again, I can't say much until I get in the 'lab'.
