  1. Nope, this is a bug. Kubrow mods are given to you after they hatch, much like Sentinels.

you can also farm them from feral kubrows on earth tho, as an option....ive done so ahead of time, my kubrow should be mature after reset today

  2. you must have ran out of time(assuming since you didnt say what happened), try doing it faster or improve your weapon with mods so that you can kill things faster, and dont worry you are not losing any mastery exp just because you havent passed the test, if it takes long enough you could be ready for your rank 2 test right after you pass your rank 1 test

  3. The link mods provide your kubrow with shields/health/armor that is a percentage of the frame that you are bringing along.

They act as the Redirection/Vatality/Steel Fiber mods do for your frame/sentinel.

And they work quite well at that as since it scales off of your frame instead of their own base stats you can get decent values for them.  Such as a maxed shield link when used with Mag giving the kubrow an extra 1221 shields on top of its base shields.

Same thing with Valkyr and link armor, providing your kubrow 1386 armor on top of their base armor, which with their base of 50 armor would make it 1436 and cut any damage to their health down to 16.7%, massively increasing their effective HP.

With your idea how would 110% (max rank for those mods) work?

Would the enemies hit them for say 50 damage, the mod redirect it to you, and you take 55?

And how would "Link armor" work at all with your idea?

And do you have any idea how hard that would suck if your kubrow was hit by a bleeding proc and all that damage went to your frame instead of your kubrow?

That would make them completely useless as at that point all they would be is an extra target that can hurt you when damaged.

Honestly, I wish that sentinels had the link shields/health/armor as that would at least give the sentinels decent health/shields/armor depending on the frame you're playing.

    best points right there

  4. I suggest having different comms per faction, instead of just Grineer everywhere. On Grineer territories, we would get what we currently have. Corpus territories would be Corpus comms, whenever we get it. Infested territory would be empty comms, save maybe random broken noises that it picks up. Void could be something similar.

not necessarily...remember the old J3 Golem? how spooky would that be if it was done right?

edit: derp i swear there was another post after mine.....
