  1. I guess it depends on how much a faction has control over the planet or place the extractor is being deployed. While Earth has always been Grineer territory (so they would have more security and surveillance in place), the Zariman is a danger zone for every non Tenno faction. Side note: I've always wanted DE to release two special SP only extractors that had interactive gameplay mechanics to them. - Type 1 would carry a significantly larger stash of common resources and a chance at rare resources or endo. It has a larger pool of health and can be extracted from the orbiter when health is above 50%. - Type 2 would carry rare resources, endo and a chance for an ayatan sculpture. It has a smaller pool of health and cannot be extracted from the orbiter. - At 50% health, an alert mission would trigger that now restricts auto extraction from the orbiter. - To extract either, a defense mission is required, designed to clear out enough enemies to send for a ship to extract the unit. Choosing to guard against each new round (at 5 waves per round) reduces the max health of the extractor by 50% but clearing the round rewards 50% additional loot plus a random reward. The max amount of rounds is 5, totaling %250 gain in total extractor contents, plus the random lot gained per round. However, failing to defend the extractor not only results in losing all additional loot gained from the round but also losing 25% of the initial resources. High risk for high rewards.
  2. What I like about this comment is that you're taking exploration and experimentation into account. This is the type of thinking that rewards gameplay and promotes diving deeper into what makes, not only effective builds, but fun builds and unexpectedly powerful builds, like me giving Loki fire blast with healing flames and using it after irradiating disarm, making it one of most effective and best team tactics in SP Circuit. Fun discoveries like this always leads me to believe there's even more to unlock without needing all of this proposed consolidated power.
  3. It's not the Warframe community you're actually discussing. It's just players in general. New players learning the ropes, rush players applying impatience to every mission, afk players doing afk things, etc. Honestly, this is why friends and recruit chat are such powerful tools. The real issue is the expectation that millions of players would be on the same page as you. Pub is pub and, just as they don't know you, they also don't know your playstyle. It's all about meeting new players that are like minded for the mission and adding them to your list.
  4. I like this idea! It adds some intensity and anticipation to the fight.
  5. I think it would be annoying and boring to have it this easy to charge Incarnons. Let me keep some type of accomplishing checkpoint.
  6. Nah, not to this level of change. We especially don't need the mod slot. Having build limitations is a great thing because it supports thinking and give&take. Gaining the ability to nearly have it all would be boring.
  7. This is a bit too much wasted energy for something not touchable yet. We can't even get the popcorn out yet.
  8. New player friendly, yes. But, I don't recall it being the starting base. It could've been through a general discussion prior to the devstream that finalized the format though. I just don't remember it. Do you remember which devstream?
  9. I remember DE discussing making the pathway easier to WITW for new players but I don't remember them ever mentioned starting from there.
  10. I like that it takes time to get these advanced weapons but I guess it depends on what side of the Warframe playstyle a player is on. For me, I like to collecting weapons and mods passively, which keeps the discoveries fresh and exciting. The RNG or time gates are far less of an issue in the regard. However, I can see how a focused collector type of player would be less enthusiastic about not being able to get an item as efficiently as they would like.
  11. From what I remember, we experienced a transference interference when transferring to the vessel. Arthur is the vessel and, when we transferred in, we ended up being redirected to the point where Arthur was to meet up with Entrati. Albrecht set that up to happen. Unfortunately, Wally figured out the plan and cut tried to redirect us again.
  12. Love these ideas! The beam weapon reference is especially cool and would fit perfectly to Chroma's setup. The sentinel effigy idea has been on my mind for a long time! Combined with the improved 1 ability, effigy could be a really powerful ability that falls in line with other high offense oriented frames.
  13. 😂 😂 😂 Now we're heading into soap opera territory! Endless possibilities there!
  14. Until discovered to be the case, I have no reason to move in that direction. Following the clues lead to a faster revelation for me, and the current clues say that Arthur was in the care and control of Dr. Entrati. Wouldn't the notes specify that the Dr lost his patient?
  15. Entrati s notes describe Arthur, his role and what he eventually becomes. Stalker, on the other hand, is from the Orokin era, a witness of the Tenno and, ultimately, becomes a frame. Now, what I'm curious about is how exactly does Stalker's frame work? Is it sentient, like Umbra, or a special instance of transference from a non-tenno? Or, perhaps, a cephalon infused into a frame?
  16. It's not just the console companies DE has to worry about though. The original console players were never given the opportunity to be founders, so it's best to not stir up any additional animosity in the community.
  17. It's great as a CO primer though. Also try it with electricity. The dual spread plus aggro reduction and double CO stat works very well.
  18. Gas is an armor stripper's best friend, IMO. I've been experimenting with my current Frost and Ember builds and they are loving the gas+electric combo that comes with the Grimoir and Proboscis Cernos. Cold+Radiation and Impact also excel for those frames that can't delete armor easily but could take advantage of the open finisher bonus of impact. That last one is a great energy/health manager since the parazon mod sets can really shine with parazon finishers. However, those radiation mods are doing a great job of changing scope of my builds. I know that multiple statues are not really optimal, I am enjoying the chaos it brings with radiation's reduced aggro and having two secondary elements plus a primary and an ips all on the same weapon.
  19. You can't play this game without Umbra mods? That's a lot of dramatic stretching...
  20. Simplifying an investment system would be a big no no. However, I think a void trace/ducat trade would be cool. How about this: Below Axi = 10-200 void traces, depending on type and rank. Axi = 1-5 Ducats each, depending on rank.
  21. The game wants you to pace yourself as well as get you to always come back. Fortunately, rushing through the game doesn't really mean anything in Warframe.
  22. I think it would be cool. However, instead of it being fully open, I would love it if DE used the linear New War layouts with the design elements of the new lab added. With the layouts not changing, but being pretty expensive, we get a very cool story, great level design but still keep it as a quest and, thus, have a good recipe for every other location we would have to go to...if that is DE's goal. I would also love if we experience Arthur and Aoi's character developments grow from the basic New War Drifter to the version of Arthur we play in Whispers. No Warframe like powers at first, and no inhuman decrees.
  23. I don't think I am giving them too much credit at all. There is a difference between fillers (new frames, seasonal/special events, dev inspiration from the community) and the mainline story. I do, however, think you are not the community nor time, enough credit. Community theories of a few weeks or months can't be designed that quickly, on a mainline scale. On the other hand, those in the community who are big on keeping up with the lore can make, and have made, very good guesses on what's happening next...like Deimos being the obvious next open world (because the main factions get updates in rotation and chapters. My guess is that Parvos or Nef Anyo will be showing their next move against Erra and Narmer. This may be where the old Empyrean trailer battle comes in). Either way, considering DE would have already show their investors a full Scope of Work portfolio for 2024-25, I would be surprised if player input could be created in the mainline scale.
  24. I know this isn't what you meant, but I'm glad someone finally made that observation. It was genius for DE to leave that breadcrumb of what influenced the veils. The Corrupted are void turned from void sentries...perhaps made by Dr. Entrati, influenced by Wally. Now, my question is when did Wally interact with Ballas' or Erra? There are other comparisons that, IMO, DE hopes we begin to pick up on. Why do the vessels share the same skin structure as the Duviri people? How did the void allow certain people into the Drifter's self created world of Duviri? Why Teshin, Kullervo and Dr. Entrati, in particular? Speaking of that... If Wally is basically a deity of the void, why does he not have total control of it? Wally seems more like a major player but still one of a few players. Lastly, exactly how many Wallys are we dealing with? The one we fought in the vessel isn't behaving like the one at the very end of the event. Dr. Entrati also doesn't seem very "possessed" in that scene neither. Who's controlling who or are we looking at void brothers and not realizing it?
  25. Here's my list for the year: 1) Try to keep the momentum of the 2023 content flow. Last year was an EXCELLENT year for Warframe!! 2) Release the next chapter of Railjack and introduce an SP version with a high emphasis on beefier enemies. Their damage output is fine but I would like the enemy fighters to have more health to them. 3) Intro the next chapter of Duviri. Let's bring in a new area that has decree restrictions and a few special bosses. 4) Bring on the eternalism critical points saga!! I'm anxious to know why the New War's trailer took place with the Lotus in complete rule over the Sentients...but she doesn't look hostile. 5) More unique necramechs, which leads to... 6) SIGNIFICANTLY more activity on the Plains of Eidolon. Let Narmer 's last defense live there and be at a decent size. 7) Dial in Blast and Gas damage.
