  1. For me the rework is fine, tried with some high level units, switching from hysteria to normal melee in order to get the energy needed and changing a bit my current playstyle, seems pretty good.

    The only problem actually comes with Nullies, but the fact is that isn't Valkyr the problem here, the Nullies are, like they were since their release in order to contrast those "Nuke-Frames" with Anti-Fun bubbles. Those indeed are needing to be looked at.

    I mean even just removing those and leaving the Comba and Scrambus unit alone could be a better thing right now, then if you want to get deeper on the problem I think you'll have the time for that, DE.

  2. I like how it works, tested on 20 Lv80 Corrupted Gunners and it's actually more than fine.

    The only thing that I'd like to see on Mesa is maybe the capability of slowly walking while on her ult, so you can reposition yourself slightly without having to deactivate and reactivate the ability by itself.

  3. The change is pretty fine for me, in the end Excalibur uses a Sword as a Ult, not an assault rifle.

    The only changes that I'd like to see are, for first, the addition of new mods like Blood Rush and Body Count on the ones compatible with the Skill(mainly because, after the "nerf", now it gets something like the same or a bit less damage compared to a Broken War), plus the removal of energy cost of the mini-blind, which is kinda pointless.

    I'd also like to see an energy consumption increase like Valkyr gets one on her ult. This will help more on understanding when is the right moment to use it and when isn't instead of having it active for the entire mission without any problems, completely removing the interaction with your remaining Arsenal.

Because the new tweaks didn't moved him a single inch from where he was before, plus the new Augment is mainly a wasted slot compared to many other solutions being WAY less situational(even if the frame itself is pretty situational right now), that's my additional question.

  5. Well, not that many people will use her, maybe a bit more compared to now.

    This mainly because she doesn't fit the "Meta" of Warframe, because there are now way faster and easier/overall better ways to deal with enemies.

    For example, on a mission where Mesa is advantaged, a Defense, who did you think will do the most "work"? A Mesa protected on a pod or a Mirage/Excalibur/Valkyr with their Simulor/Tonkor/EB/Hysteria(which is basically god mode)?

    You also have to take in consideration that Mesa drains A LOT more energy while using Peacemaker compared to these ones, and she can't move, plus her reticule will get smaller, so you'll have to interact more and you'll have to stop in order to take Globes/Pads. These frames can just go in, randomly spam their attack button, kill everyone and get what they need WHEN they need it.

    Mesa will be better at scaling, yes, but she's too "hard" compared to the meta right now, so she won't get the place she deserves, especially after a week or so, like many other good frames.

  6. I don't get it.

    People here talk about balance, about making other weapons, frames, strategies and so on avialable, and still there are guys like this one saying they're "haters".

    Because trying to have fun with semi-auto weapon like the Latron while there's an EB Excalibur, Tonkor Valkyr and press 4 Ash MUST be really fun these days, yup.

  7. Warframe is since ever just a giant cheesecake and people won't try to make it less cheesy because of their lazyness.

    After all, many concepts and decisions, especially from the past, were and ARE lazy, like not giving the proper balance to all frames in order to make you choose your playstyle and not the level of difficult of your next missions. Same goes for weapons, enemies, armor scaling, CC, nullifiers, mission rewards, affinity, matery rank, alerts and so on.

    I just hope that DE will try to understand the problems and get quicker on solving them, otherwise people are just gonna get in, get an Ash and a Tonkor, do a 30 Days Draco getting all the Mastery Possible and after getting the biggest burnout on the history ever, leaving Warframe to never be touched again.

    Call me pessimist, but as Game Designer myself this is what I see every single time I get into Warframe, a game that punishes you for trying to show your skills instad of cheesing it like everyone else.

  8. This update brings a nice bandaid for Oberon, but actually we need something more for the deep wound that him have gotten through these years.

    Also wonder if we'll ever get a balanced renewal instead of a low duration "high" heal when the Power Duration is high or low duration small heal when the Duration is low. I mean why at this point we don't just make it a toogle ability affected by duration like any other toogle ability in the game that also doesn't untoogle by itself, it could be a great change for Oberon.

  9. Yeah, I do agree with OP, I'm playing this game because I want to have fun, getting two shotted behind a corner by the shotgun guy with 4.6kHP and something like 800 Armor isn't fun at all, especially comparing it with the amount of time that you'll have to spend in order to kill one of them.

    I mean it can be done, but it just isn't fun, and when a game isn't fun there's something wrong about it.

    Gonna kill this boss once tomorrow then I'm gonna switch to something else again, this until DE finally decides to stop putting bandaids and bulletsponges/oneshotting enemies + insane grind on their events.

  10. Well, actually the difference between Prime and non-Prime frames are the materials, because with more common materials the creation of more frames is way easier compared to something like a Prime Frame, which requires some rare ones.

    This also bring some differences between these two, being the Base Stats or the interaction with the scenario, still because of the fact that, for example, Prime frames are meant to take advantage of playing on Orokin towers, normal ones are just meant to be used on any planet and that's it.

  11. I'm supporting this and I must say that this should be implemented on throwing weapons too, giving the ability to also fight using fists while the weapon itself has been thrown.

    Maybe also some changes with the sparring combos by switching Stance? Pretty please?

  12. The problems are very evident:

    • 2 Years old stances that are actually quite slow and not that good(also the Rare one can be used only by starter Scythes, which is completely mind blowing)
    • Nothing that makes them unique about them, differencing between other weapons. This also happens to Sparring weapons and Machetes, but they got the short stick, like the shortest one.
    • The name of the class doesn't symbolize the weapon itself. Actually these are Sickles, not Scythes, so why at this point we do have to keep calling these low range weapons that are supposed to hit fast(supposed) what they're not? Like seriously.

    Stats have becomed decent with one of the lastest patches by DE, still it doesn't appeal to the players and there's no real advantage on using them. Giving something special like innate Life Steal ground attack or Bleed Proc Guaranteed every time they hits, with an high speed and mobility Stance suited for them, could be the solution.

    Also changing their name to Sickles and adding real Scythes to the game could be a pretty good idea, but that's my opinion afterall.

  13. Oberon. Like ALL Oberon.

    Smite is actually the only decent ability, providing a cheap CC, still not really good with the damage scaling and still single target ability.

    Hallowed Ground is pratically a suicide carpet, standing there waiting for all the aimbotting enemies to shoot at you on a flashy game like this isn't only lame and boring, it's also dangerous.

    Renewal has a ton of travel time and the heal is also low, this also punishes builds with high Duration because your heal will be stronger BUT will last a very small amount of time compared to a normal or negative duration one, also it's a mess to deactivate, just make this a toogle ability that scales like every other toogle mod and it will be AT LEAST decent.

    Reckoning is a Damage ability, it doesn't scale with levels, the CC is low, range is low and you actually have to spam it in order to breath for 1 full second at high levels, it's just completely unconvinient and outclassed by nearly every single AoE Ult on this game(and yes, Crush is better because it has at least an higher amount of time of CC and a larger range).

    I'm a big fan of Oberon, but his kit is outdated and needs to be reworked or at least tweaked to what the game is now, otherwise he's just a Warframe good for those that wants to make things more difficult for themselves and that's it.

  14. Limbo is hated because some major factors that are sooner or later popping out when you play him or with him.

    The first is the fact that he tries to kill his enemies 1v1 on a horde game, and when he tries to fight more just gets constantly killed.

    He also have got nerfed abilities compared to other frames, which are:

    Nerf-invisibility(1 & 2), which brings you out of the action, uncapable of actually fighting what you want except with your skills or when Limbo banishes something(1 by 1 as ever), good for EB spammers but for me that's just boring. I still don't get why the same ability stays on two button, just doing like the 1st of Ivara could make some space for other more useful skills.

    Then a nerfed-damage buff, just bring every other buffer like Nova or even Rhino and they'll do the same job without locking you out of the game in order to use it.

    Also a nerfed-snow globe, which allows you to shoot targets inside of it or what limbo want to kill, just get Frost and you'll be good to go.

    Also one of the major flaws is the incapacity to pick up anything when inside the rift, even a datamass. Thing that, on a  game based on loots, is REALLY annoying(can we please stop with these loot modifiers on Warframe skills before it gets out of hand?).

  15. Because for first Slash scales WAY better at higher levels compared to any other IPS Damage, so this is it, then it has got the highest Red Crit chance of all the Bows, put in Argon Scope and a good aim and you've actually got nearly 100% Chance to Red Crit, which is completely insane.

    Also Paris P. scales not really that good at high levels, I do prefer to use the Rakta Cernos or the Dread depending on how I do want to play the game, because the Rakta Cernos is more of a combat bow for fast action and rapid arrows but the Dreads gets more damage compared to it, so your choice in the end(the Paris P. is still pretty decent tho).

  16. Oberon is one of my favourite frames, and also one of the most disappointing ones.

    His kit does little to nothing for the entire team because it's made of Uber-Nerfed abilities from other frames, he has got no CC for real so he's always under the gunfire of the enemies, one of his skills also forces you to stand still on it and so makes his utility even lesser when comes on a flashy game like warframe.

    He REALLY needs to be reworked, and we can't try to justify him all the times because when we compare it with any other frame except the ones that we all know have got their problems like Hydroid and Limbo he's just a weight for your team, especially when it comes on high levels and you're gonna get 1-2 shotted and also not capable of helping your team mates because all your skills are static as hell.

    Not gonna buy the skin just because I want DE to see the reaction and actually think about helping a warframe that didn't got anything since more than 2 years with the major role of being a credit source for all the parts dropped by Eximuses.

  17. Nice skins but Oberon is still bad over Lv40, I'd just hope that you're gonna look at his kit and give him some good tweaks because many people won't buy the skin simply because you can't play the frame without having to die every 5 seconds at high level missions.

  18. I'm playing since more than 3 years and can say that now I do play very, very rarely.

    This mostly because of the lack of new content to do and rewards overall. A small example could be the sorties, which are called "endgame" but are bringing only stuff from the old events like the Sheev which brings me only shivers down the spine when I see it.

    So yeah, mostly I do play when Catalysts/Reactors are on, alerts of the new helmets and that's it, going solo or with friends, usually once in a week or so.

    I mean maybe a Starchart 3.0 with some good changes on Enemy/Armor scaling and a decent balance to the weapons could bring me back but yknow, doing the same things over and over again gets boring pretty quickly.
