  1. Hello everyone,

personally I'm opening this thread for first because, of course, I'm an AkVasto lover; I've spent 5 Forma on them and I don't regret it, they're amazing.

Still I'd like to suggest a small change for this weapon: its crit damage.

Actually the AkVasto is a weapon completely capable of being built for Crits, but, for the fact that it has got a lower Crit Damage Multiplier compared to many other weapons like, for example, the AkMagnus, makes the AkVasto a weapon that's counterproductive to build for crits.

The change that I'm suggesting is very small and takes less than 5 minutes to be done: buffing the Crit Damage of the AkVasto(and the Vasto too, if DE wants it) from 1.5x to 2.0x. With this won't be counterproductive for the player to make a different build from pure damage and will push more of them to get the weapon, weapon that already cost orokin cells(which are rare for newbies) and two single counterparts to be done.

I hope DE will think about it because it's a really good weapon, especially talking about how it looks, but when I look at that stats and the Crit Damage it makes me only cry from the bottom of my heart.

  2. It's a good change on Oberon for what I'm seeing, but also it's just the Top of the Iceberg and nothing more.

Oberon needs to survive longer, needs abilities that are fitting the playstyle of the game and need something else than Smite to help the team on the battlefield.

Standing on carpets isn't only just bad as concept but will also make you more vulnerable to enemy fire, enemies also completely capable of getting near you without any real harm from the carpet itself.

Also the ultimate have got small range, doesn't kill lots of times and have the two CC effects actually too much short and inefficient(you will still be the first target of the enemies if you're near them, not like Nyx's Chaos or so).

  3. I've seen him a few days ago, he was pretty busy at searching on the trash void Primed Master Thief and Primed Undying Will, only 2500 Ducats each he said, but only because he's an honest trader.

Like very honest, he do also care about your efforts on wasting hours farming Ducats, of course.

  4. Assuming you have both the primed mods and the critical chance/damage ones from the even there aren't really that many weapons crit-viable as secondary ones.

Also many of those like the Wraith Twin Vipers or the AkSomati have got a way too small amount of ammos, so you will need to put AT LEAST Pistol Ammo Mutation or be very, very careful with your bullets.

  5. What I miss about survival? Thrill.

Why do I get more thrill out of a breaking window in a corpus ship than from a whole session of survival?

Simple. The environment doesn't feel threatening. If every player does their job right, I, as a player, never make the experience of getting choked out of a room. Just kill enough enemies and pop enough capsules and everything is just fine.

Why do I only get thrilled when the mission has already failed to the point where I have to evacuate? That is simply wrong.

Compare this to hive missions. Combat in the broken segments of the ship, where the atmosphere is being sucked out, is super thrilling.

Im under the constant pressure of my shields being drained and I have visual and audio clues what's going on.

It's atmospheric and I don't get this from survival.

Don't get me wrong. Survival does a lot of things right:

I can roam around freely. The enemy is coming at me from all sides. I have to consider something besides fighting.

Still, freedom of movement is not purposeful in survival. You can camp or you can stray away or split up from the group.

The only purposeful movement in the mode is to go to a place with good spawns to milk the enemies for their LS.

Meanwhile Lotus is flooding the place with capsules of her own. It's almost comical.

Guess what? Lotus deliverd us 20 capsules but we only used three and then dumped the rest when we left because we could pilfer all we needed from our enemies.

The nerf is good and well but it isn't enough.

    My proposed changes:

1)The whole level is constantly being drained (like in hive missions).

2)Enemies don't drop life support at all.

3)There is only one Lotus capsule active at any given point in time.

4)Every capsule provides 30 seconds of the tile it's in not being drained.

5)Once it is used up Lotus will beam another capsule into the level and the team has to make its way there.

6)The AI will frequently try to lock the team in and block doors in the teams path.

    This should:

1)Make the teams movement as a unit more purposeful and mission-oriented.

2)Make teams less dependent on Oxyfarm-frames.

    3)Create more tension and atmosphere.

We need to feel thrills, we need to feel alive, to feel like we need to fight for our life, not just sitting in a room bunkering with Nekros and Trinity, because we know that this is the most used method to keep up with survivals for litterally HOURS. Just think about making a fast-peaced mode for a fast-peaced game.

Also some other modes are needing to be looked at too, like how Defense is the same thing as survival with the only fact that you stay on a smaller place and you risk your failure more and more the times goes on(also Frost is mandatory with Defense, which is bad), or other game modes like Exterminate, Capture, Deception and so on, which aren't giving to you any real reward to end them and it all ends to be a speedrun slaughterhouse.

Just try to make something that makes us "feel" the mission, that's it.

  6. Because yknow, Warframe is like Left 4 Dead, with the only difference that teamwork is completely absent and not needed, because many times one Frame can run the entire mission alone without any effort, and we're not only talking about exterminate missions this time.

Also with the last introduction of greedy Focus playing supportive roles won't give you any benefits, so hallway heroes and nukers are even more common these days.

  7. No, it's simply not gonna work right now because of some facts, which are high damage weapons with no need to aim at all and abilities capable of making you/your team invincible, also some while dealing tons of damage and lasting forever with a decent build, like Valkyr, Trinity, Excalibur and so on.

  8. That's the average sniper reload speed, or even longer.

I think it's gonna be the same with the Vulkar Wraith, but I'll have more shots(8), less crits and higher base damage, that's it.

Also P. Fast Hands can help if you can't handle the reload, but as I said many times snipers aren't really meant for horde games like Warframe is, so there are gonna be weapons always better than those.

  9. I am with you with the part of sticking the rewards of one mod each run on the RNG, it's just gonna waste so many of your time by only killing and resetting to get the Rare mod that you want.

Also now DE is gonna release a patch that allows players to see the Mod obtained ONLY at the end of the mission.

Like are we serious here? RNG is already pretty bad with Rare mods on normal runs, now if we have to do a certain amount of runs on a small period of time hoping to get a Rare mode this would probably get more annoying than how it is right now.

Personally talking, if they're gonna fix it like this then I'm not gonna partecipate this even anymore, it's already annoying and kinda broken now, but at least it's faster than this many times.

Also melee Acolytes can stunlock you to your death if they get near you, I pratically got locked on the same spot without being capable of doing anything for 4 seconds. Like wth DE, do you really want to make me see my imminent death without having any chance to counter it?

  10. It's a fun build, but it still can't match the same damage of one with Pressure Point.

You're pratically doubling the amount of time you're gonna spend on killing the enemy(rough 45% or so) because you want to make a different build.

So yeah, it can be done, but it's still no match compared to one with Pressure Point.

Also I'm still waiting for DE to remove this mod with the other damage ones, it's really pissing me off having these new mods to put on my wep and not enough slots to put em all because of "Mandatory Mods" -_-

  11. Well, it's more rewarding than game breaking for me, because it rewards you for aiming well on the weak spot of your enemies.

Also it's not a blue or violet crit, it's just a red crit with a 3.0 multiplier compared to the normal one(normal red crit is 2.0), so you won't really see that on the numbers popping up on your screen except for the damage that you're gonna deal which is, of course, higher than a normal red crit.

  12. Actually it was way too fun to get into Excavation and getting rewarded on a decent amount of time spent instead of the classic "Spend 60 minute getting bored standing on the same place with the same reward as 20 minutes".

Maybe DE should think about buffing/changing the other mission types, and not nerfing the only one that was actually working :\

  13. *snip*

I'd like to share with you the fact that this also happens while doing Syndicate Defense mission or Sorties, a few rounds after the first you still see the enemies of the same level but they deal much, MUCH more damage. I don't even know if this is intended but last time I got all my HPs taken down by ONE Elite Crewman Lv 32 using Excalibur. Indeed I tried to test it on the Simulacrum and the damage was way lower compared to the one into the mission :\

  14. Well, I didn't noticed any negative scores, STILL as said from my stats I have 20 Stratos Emblem earned, while actually it shows up 17 on the Badge itself. Guess we've got a different bug here but with the same results in the end: not getting the Badge.

Really I don't think that should take this long to be fixed, it's just that DE sometimes decides to give more importance to other things, and meanwhile sigils are clipping on my Frames and the Syandanas I've bought are doing the same with Oberon, which are actually ruining my overall experience personally talking :\
