After reading through the responses, my best method came from pulling them straight off the map using a max range/efficiency and min duration vauban's vortex around the central piller. Completed it consistently around the last canister every time. Only time I almost failed was when I tried to actually use the canister to reduce some of the eximus. Best was completely ignoring them.

I guess after playing a few more rounds it was placed in my inbox. Didn't find it until I reloaded the game.

Not sure if it's a bug or just an account issue, but I finished a 4 man relic run, nothing too crazy, Neo crossfire on Europa. Loaded into my ship and ran to my foundry to start building the Ivara pieces, since I got my final one and it was missing. Checked my inventory as well, didn't show up there either. But the relic I turned radiant and used is gone. From 13 Neo I2 relics to 12. Went to check my last mission results to confirm I did get it and the results arent showing up either.
