  1. Nope, nevermind, I'm just an idiot. I just had a chance to jump on and found out I subsumed the ability. Haven't been playing lately and I forgot I even did it.
  2. I haven't helminth'd off anything though. Edit- yes I did.
  3. It runs on a rotation, 8 weeks I believe. The rotation repeats, so you'll be able to time it to when the next umbra forms shows up. Not that rare, just have to wait it out.
  4. I also remember it working like this from launch. I've always had to do one round and extract before it would cycle.
  5. I bought recrystalize, but it won't show up on the equipped mods (upgrade) page. It shows up in the "all mods" page though and i've upgraded it, but i can't equip it. I've tried reloading and a few other things. No good. Was it disabled or is it a bug?
  6. I'm my opinion, if you compare similar style ranged weapons, then no- I can't think of any prime that's better than an incarnon... unless you have trouble building the meter. The thing with incarnons are that many of them add aoe of some sort, either by adding high amount of punch thru, explosions, or ricochet bullets. Not to mention the stat boosts, and good ammo economy. Melee on the other hand is a mixed bag. I'd say prime melee weapons are still very good in comparison.
  7. Corufell and ceramic dagger. I've been building my melee weapons for combo/ quick attack and replacing organ shatter with the amalgam version. Both these weapons work pretty well (ceramic working MUCH better than corufell) with a hybrid setup. Ceramic dagger is actually pretty strong set up like this. I've also tried my machete wraith with Cyclone Kraken. It's basically spin to win all over again.
  8. I would love this for the wolf sledge, especially with the new melee system coming out. The wolf sledge always felt like it was missing something like a bounce mod or something.
  9. Looking at the wiki, it says zanuka doesn't show up until you get a mark, by doing 5 invasion missions against the corpus. I always wondered why they don't show up anymore. Maybe this helps?
  10. This is it exactly, if your selling. I roll my own mostly, and rarely ever get anything close to cc,cd,Ms -zoom (or other good negative), so my personal God rolls open up space for more mods. Gotta take what you can get, but it wouldn't be worth more than cc,cd,ms -zoom
  11. I take breaks pretty frequently, also due to burnout and just not having fun anymore. By the time I come back after a break, there's a ton more new stuff to do, so I'd say try the game again, and take another break if you get burnt out. Imo, the game feels like it's gotten easier. To me, this helps with burnout since I don't feel like I NEED to run the latest and greatest, and can have fun with older non meta weapons- and roll rivens for them. As for your builds, I'm not actually sure what's changed since the new war, but with shield gating or umbra mods, pretty much anything can do steel path these days. I'm still using the same old mods I've always used. The new shard system can open up a mod slot or two, but I've pretty much ignored them and I've been fine. I can't stand more than an hour in survival anyways. Grinding factions hasn't gotten any better, that I can remember, but that's why I take breaks. You said you haven't played since the new war, so there's a lot of grinding to do... on the plus side though, if you get bored grinding one faction, switch to another. You've got a lot of new story content, missions and open worlds to explore. If you try the game again and don't end up liking it, then you haven't really lost anything aside from some time. Just my opinion, hope that helps. Good luck!
  12. I didn't realize the manual detonation was considered an alt fire. Still though, it could be done if it only activated incarnon on full charge. Kinda like melee does already. I hope DE figures something out.
  13. I use the Despot Cape, along with some other things that make him look like a demon. The Despot Cape frames the lion on his back quite nicely. I have to ask though, why get rid of his chakram? It's a debuff, so it stacks with damage self buffs like roar. Gives health and energy orbs, too. Great for equilibrium. No hate, just genuinely curious.
  14. Can confirm. I used one to level up my lex prime. Never liked the gun until the incarnon.
  15. I don't see much of a problem with the skip, but I also think the overall grind in the game could be reduced. If you reduced the grind, made it easier for people to grind 10 yrs of content, there would be less push back for the story skip, because it would feel less like a requirement and more like an option. I would have loved this a couple years ago when my gf started playing. She doesn't play at all now because of the grind. Just my 2 cents.
  16. That's strange, afaik the MR on the riven is a requirement. I've had problems in the past due to this. I guess the only way to tell is to try selling a riven to someone that doesn't meet the requirement. I've got no other ideas. Hope you get it sorted out, good luck.
  17. Hmmm... I'm not quite sure I understand the question. I'm on Xbox, and every "pro" controller out there has a designated button to push to map the back buttons. No adapter needed, no external software or hardware is required other than the controller itself. Should be no problem to get it set up the way you want.
  18. Was the buyer a high enough mr for the mod requirement?
  19. I don't get motion sickness or anything, but I've got my lighting effects and other visual noise turned off or down so low that it doesn't bother me. I can't remember off the top of my head, but is there a screen shake adjustment bar in the options somewhere?
  20. You can use left and right on the pad to switch abilities, then tap rb to activate. (Edit- you may need to change your controller layout to achieve this, but it was standard when I started playing.) My setup is I use my abilities while holding down rb, then pressing the corresponding button that's mapped to each ability. I also have a game pad with 4 back buttons mapped to the face buttons. My thumbs never have to leave the sticks. Option one can be done in game, option 2 cost the price of a cheap "advanced" controller. I used a Power-A controller for a long time, cheap enough, and stick drift didn't show up for a long time. Hope that helps, otherwise I've got no other ideas.
  21. It didn't work with the primary shot either, at least not in my case. I ended up unloading into an acolytes head, in incarnon mode. Just held the trigger down until it completed. Didn't take much.
  22. Revenant, Nezha and Nidus are my easy button if they show up. My Rev has Octavia's roller ball subsumed, and the ability to make an army. It's overkill and my army usually just follows the ball lol. Nezha has gloom for cc and health regen, with firewalker for movement and cc, damage boost and the ability to make health orbs, with equilibrium, for energy regen. Nidus's 4 and larva help with cc, plus he's really hard to kill. Basically, I like frames that are hard to kill that have some good cc for the defense portion of the circuit. I've tried Baruuk and I just can't get him to work. I probably just don't know how to play him correctly though.
  23. I would LOVE to be able to do this! I was playing Chroma the other day with Zymos. Chroma's shoulder completely blocks the crosshairs, making it a PAIN to hit head shots from any distance. Pretty sure Grendel has this problem too, probably others also. I could probably change my armor up tbh, but I want to look like a big armored lizard when I'm playing chroma.
