Is it hard ? Because he kept deactivating the Safeguard I through on him multiple times dealing With Nullifiers....

It isn’t hard. I think he probably kept forgetting that Wukong’s staff is melee 3.0 in terms of combos. So you need to hold the back key to stop him lurching around. So long as the mod set up is good, you shouldn’t get hit by the bubble. It’s easily done though.

  2. The other option, although maybe somewhat suicidal, is to melee the bubble with a long range weapon. Especially true with a frame like Wukong. The reach will not only take down the bubble but kill those around it. With careful positioning, you maintain the safe distance and any active abilities. With the quick change system, it works well with shooting off a couple of rounds before melee’ing. It’s not really a “method” as such but it’s how I tend to counter them with my playstyle.

I don’t think there’s any real optimum way because of their mechanics. I personally like the addition of them, until you get mobbed by them in a corridor.

  3. I have it on and off. It’s just really bad lag due to a poor connection. Although usually when I get it, the other “clients” are complaining as well so I usually put it down to the host.

If you’re consistently getting it, then it’s likely your connection. Are you trying to play in a different region other than your own? Have you tried checking your own connection speed and doing quick fixes like checking you’re on an optimum wireless channel?

  4. Maybe bugs related to the upcoming “player as stalker” mode. DE would’ve had to programme a fifth player to be able to join the squad as the “enemy”. It’s possible that this work is bleeding into the live game.

Thats my theory anyway. I don’t have a clue though 😂

Shoot his backpack, get in melee, roll out of the way so he freezes himself. He's a Dark Souls style boss.

A lot of players have trouble with phase bosses.

He’s talking about the junction, now the planet boss.

OP - the boss isn’t overpowered. It’s much more likely that you are underpowered. Make sure your mods are levelled up and you’re going in with your strongest loadout.

What frames do you have access to?

  6. Mining is the best and quickest way to get standing in OV. Best thing is to find a mining route, primarily using a couple of key caves, rinse and repeat. I’ve heard before that you can just do the veins in the immediate area, extract and repeat. I prefer to go to the cave on the South West and then extract and repeat.

A more fun way would be to do conservation.

  7. Unfortunately being at Ceres you’re rather limited. The Endo farms of Pluto, Sedna and finally Arbitration’s are some way off yet.

As above, the infested missions on Ceres have an increased drop rate so you may wish to consider that. Otherwise dissolving mods for Endo is a quick shortcut if you’ve accumulated enough.

The other option is to socket and sell all your sculptures to Maroo. If you were VERY desperate, you could buy filled sculptures from other players for plat and then sell them on again.

In the long term, you’re better off just powering through the star chart at a reasonable pace until you reach one of the farming locations.

Okay...I just got laughed out of a ps4 party because one guy was tryna buy plat from people, then he invited his friend to try and double team me because i said buying plat from anyone other than DE is against the terms of service. They even told me why I cared, and is it really so wrong for me to want everyone to follow the terms of service? Was I in the wrong for that?

No, you weren’t. They’ll get banned and you won’t.

Not impossible at all, just stop trying to make your playerbase jump through hoops with timed events.

Myself, not only did I miss plague star after waiting two years for it, but I also came back way too late to progress far enough into intermission.

In a game that’s starved for content, limited time modes are inappropriate.

This thinking works until you enter logic into the mix. Can you imagine the server space and level of maintenance required for having all events live at all times? Not to mention that it would likely overwhelm a lot of players.

This isn’t a paid game. It’s a free game that requires support through payments for rushing / cosmetics etc. If you don’t create hype and you don’t create scenarios whereby people feel rushed or time limited, you impact on profits. It’s timed events or hard to farm relics which push people to buy platinum to speed up or skip the process.

Ultimately these timed events are a necessary part of a free to play game. Without them and other factors, we’d all be either playing another game or having to pay a monthly subscription.

I thought they changed the way extractions work. why am I still getting automatically extracted when my team mate extracts? I was stlll in the middle of looking for insignias

They only did this with endless game modes. Anything else will work as before. Unfortunately the only way to ensure you have the time to look for everything is to solo.

    huge part of the community.

I agree wholeheartedly with your entire post but this point. I unfortunately think it’s just an extremely loud and obnoxious part of the community that create the negativity. It’s almost what you see in the world of politics whereby a few people can whip up the angst in others, creating an illusion that more care.

I suspect as well that this is driven by the Riven Mafia however that’s getting a little bit tinfoil hat.

People will defend anything that implies not making DE put work onto something, as little as it needs to remove something like that. It's a trend from what i've seen.

Please don’t make presumptions as to the reasons behind my comment. It has nothing to do with defending DE. I was more bemused about how someone really cares that much that they’d spend more time on the forums complaining about it than the total sum of each time taken to press escape.

Plus DE need to work on a lot of bugs. So I’d rather they focus on things that matter in terms of gameplay rather than minor things like this.

  13. “Baked-in” mods in the method you express is simply a buff for all weapons.

Weapons already have differences in the various aspects that mods boost, so buffing everything would only make things stronger and you’ll be left with the same issue.

The only method that I've seen which may work is having a utility mod slot that only allows mods from a certain class. However as most mods will, in some way, impact on DPS, it would be hard to determine exactly what a utility mod would be.
