  1. Every mission. Which is super annoying. I did 30 minutes worth of the Neo fissure survival and lost a nami skyla blade and 200+ traces. Thought it was an isolated incident so I did all of the gift of the lotus and got $&*^ for it. Then I joined for a tricap and made the whole group crash when I left to change my weapon.

It's happening everywhere. The game is broken.

No, it isnt me, its everyone. Please stop tellling them its not there, it is there, and the proof is all over youtube. The input lag is a problem. YOU may be okay with it, thats not the same thing.

You have a bunch of input lag, maybe you are used to it, but it is there. Its a fact, not my opinion.

No, I really don't. My input is always snappy and responsive. So unless you're talking about the zoom issues, which personally I don't mind since I have no trouble reading the location names and the default zoom, you are just making assumptions about my experience that are frankly incorrect.

Why is no one talking about the glaring input lag and latency issues all around the board?

Because that might just be you, buddy.

I never have input lag for one, and latency issues really only occur sporadically, but no more so than before Fortuna. And certainly not enough to say it's all across the board when stuff like Tricap hunting has been greatly smoothed out.

To be fair, it was "rare". It never happened twice in a row to the same person. If you played in a fixed group, you knew that every single time one would crash, but at least you were certain that the person crashing was not always the same.

But I'd hardly call it rare. Last night was the first Tricap I completed without anyone crashing. Then when we hopped back in for a quick Tera take down, three of us crashed before we exited the loading area.

Like sure, we should be happy that 1 crash meant you weren't going to crash again. But it was a common occurrence for sure. I just hope this actually applies to all PoE crashes and not just the one specifically triggered by the door opening.

2 things you may encounter at this time:

    1) For a reason we have not 100% reproduced, the system may try to download the full update ON TOP of the current install, instead of in-place. Deleting the game and then reinstalling will allow the update to proceed. This won't remove any progress, and since the Update is a remaster (full re-install), this won't waste any gas.

    2) If your Update isn't auto-starting, do the manual system check via + Button > Software Update > Via Internet on the Warframe game tile.

Erm. What if I cleared up room elsewhere for the update, will this overwrite my older game file and normalize my SD card capacity?

Try pressing + on the home menu and checking for updates via the internet after closing the game(actually closing it with X)
I was getting 200b/s by launcher, over 11000 hours ETA

Dling like this says 8 hours which might be about right for my dl speed

Yeah that's what I did when I hit 13000 hours ETA (a hair under 542 days)

Thankfully my apartment's comp wifi is pretty fast so I'm looking at an ETA of 1 hour and 41 minutes.

Do you really think I don't know that? I very well know that patches/updates have to be sent to Nintendo and go through the cert process. What I didn't know is Nintendo decides when these updates go live, I still doubt the info I've read here is accurate (someone saying Nintendo decides) and I'm sure it's the devs who decide when and what time the update should go live, not Nintendo.

It was me, and I don't have confirmation that this is how Nintendo operates per se but I do have experience with major updates as do many others. An update cannot go live before the eShop updates. Imagine what would happen if it did, people decide to download Warframe from the eShop because they heard the Fortuna update was today, and once the icon hits their main screen they get a message that tells them the update is not ready. Or they might just get the Mask of the Rev build. In any case, virtually every large update to a game I've seen has come after the eshop updates and not before.

Neither me nor the poster you quoted conjectured that you don't know an update has to pass cert. But you also neglected to mention that eShop updates are important. As I told you before, major Paladins updates had to wait for the eShop update. It's possible that the update files were included in yesterday's eShop refresh and we may get it earlier than 12 pst but that's in 4 hours. At this point it seems far more likely that that is when it will drop.

I don’t know man. Never heard of this. In the case of Paladins, it was usually because the updates took a while in cert, they were waiting for Nintendo to approve the update not because Nintendo didn’t update the eShop. I remember when Switch players used to ask the devs what’s taking so long and they always used to say it’s because it’s still in cert.

Even presuming that that is true, most updates I've seen from DE have come in the middle of the day rather than at midnight.

Yes I know but this is for newly released games. This is an update we’re talking about. It won’t go through the eShop.

That's not how it works. All updates run through the eShop infrastructure.

Paladins had a big update delayed relative to the other systems because Nintendo hadn't updated the eshop at the same time as PSN, Steam, and XBL.

Will this include the bug turned feature of equipping multiple Dragon Keys?

To be honest as a sort of newish player who wants to solo most of the time, this hotfix/update is the one that I'm most excited about.

How newish are we talking? Because if you want to solo sorties and eidolons, I promise you are a long long way from doing that unless you're buying a ton of plat every few days. You're better off playing with groups now until you get strong enough to solo content.

EDIT: and for those who will inevitably say they can solo sorties, yeah some missions. But stuff like energy elemental enhancement ambulas is pretty much impossible to solo for OG Switch players. Maybe a max range/duration Limbo can do it.
