  1. They didn't nerf Gauss after his prime was released. I know DE have a bad rep with overdoing the nerfs, but let's not blow things out of proportion.
  2. I always make it a habit to try out the newest frame and see if I can make a build that is viable for Steel Path endurance missions. If they perform well and are fun to play I'll usually add them to my roster that find frequent use. Gauss was one of my most used Warframes until he was forever retired after his Prime version was released. Kullervo and Dante are the more recent frames I now use on a regular basis. I tend to only stop using a normal variant of a frame around 3 to 6 months before their prime version is released. That way they can feel somewhat fresh if I haven't played them in a while.
  3. I've never been much of a fan of Protea, honestly. She feels underwhelming compared to frames like Gauss, Kullervo and Dante both from a Damage and Survivability perspective. I'm gonna get her and the new weapons to add to my collection. But for the most part she's just mastery fodder.
  4. You do know there are modifiers that disable Gear and your Operator, right? There'll be a week where both options are available. I guarantee it.
  5. Verglas is the only viable option if you want your Sentinel to do any meaningful damage. Helstrum instead if you'd prefer it to be a primer. All the other weapons need some serious buffs.
  6. And you think using flat out unviable weapons and frames in a mode they were clearly not designed for is fun? Try using a Grakata against a level 400+ Steel Path Voidrig with the Gear Embargo and Ammo Deficit modifiers and we'll see if you're still singing the same tune.
  7. So you just listed off a bunch of stuff from Helldivers. How about you just play that game instead of trying to turn Warframe into something else.
  8. Yeah. I'm fully aware that the mode is encouraged to be done in a full squad. But unfortunately I don't have any friends that play Warframe, nor do I particularly enjoy squadding with randoms for anything that requires any kind of coordination. I treat the game as a mostly single player venture so I can play the game however I want without fear of bad latency, host migrations or a party member wanting to extract only 5 minutes into an endless mission. I'll express my right to complain about this new mode from the perspective of a solo player, but I'm not expecting DE to make any real overhauls to the system to accomodate me. (Though some modifiers could do with a bit of tweaking) I'd be more upset if I didn't have Netracells as an alternative.
  9. Being pigeonholed into using whatever RNG loadouts the game gives you isn't my idea of a challenge. It's nothing but pure frustration and actively hostile against the player. Don't believe me? Try using a Grakata against a level 400+ Steel Path Voidrig with the Ammo Deficit and Gear Embargo modifiers. It's a cruel joke. You're quick to mock me, but I don't see you coming up with any solutions, genius! I could probably beat the missions solo with enough trial and error, but at the end of the day I play games for entertainment. Beating my head against a brick wall repeatedly just for a few extra rewards is not my idea of a good time. It's not fun to basically have the game dictate what you're allowed to bring into the mission while simultaneously trolling you with some god awful modifiers which I swear were not tested or properly thought out before being implemented.
  10. More like you can solo it, but are the three extra rewards worth the anger and the frustration? I did manage to do solo Elite Archimedea during its release. Though admittedly I got super lucky with the mission types, loadout options and personal modifiers. I realised soon after that this mode wasn't for me because the reliance on RNG and the list of modifiers are, to put it simply, not fun in the slightest. You don't add challenge to a game by severely handicapping the player.
  11. Oh wow. I already thought Mirror Defense was a poor fit for Deep Archimedea because it's the only mission type out of the available options with a failure state. But knowing one of the affixes which are immune to damage and CC can instantly fail the mission is utterly laughable. I know now any week with Mirror Defense as an option are a complete write-off.
  12. So, forcing people who prefer to play the game solo to squad up with randoms that could potentially have a less than favourable internet connection if you're not hosting while simultaneously trying to work with a random arsenal and affixes that are completely player hostile and antithetical to the game Warframe now is JUST for a chance at three extra rewards? Screw that. I'll stick with Netracells.
  13. How exactly would that work? They already give us a Riven cap due to server stability issues. So I can't imagine what issues changing a mod's polarity would cause. Just forma your Warframe again OR farm a duplicate frame to make different builds.
  14. If you had bothered to pay attention, Rebb said in the last Devshort that if they remove LoS entirely they would probably have to nerf Tragedy's range which would be a much worse trade off. As much as I would rather it be returned to its original functionality on Dante's release, I'm willing to accept the compromise. Its much better than the 35.5.3 version where the ability could be blocked by ankle high objects and Dante's huge kite shaped body.
  15. The only thing I'd want to remove from my inventory are the duplicate ephemeras that I got from a glitched out Sister of Parvos. It really messes with my OCD.
  16. You blatantly ignore the chain of events and DE's own admittance of their complete kneejerk response they made to the nerfs and you think I'm the one who is short sighted and narrow minded? Why am I even wasting my time responding to an ignoramus like you?
  17. I think you should be less concerned about what a streamer is saying while playing an M-Rated game and more about doing your job as a parent and not letting them consume content they are clearly too young to be watching.
  18. Maybe because your "factual posts" don't mean squat when DE themselves not only admitted that the LoS implementation was a complete botch job, but they also went out of their way to improve it on Dante and a number of frames that were being inconvenienced by it. There's your facts! Stop coping! View must be great from that glass house of yours. Maybe. But the sheer magnitude of posts both on the forums and on Reddit definitely lit a fire under their asses. An angry mob has a higher chance of being noticed. That's basic human psychology. Considering how this whole debacle played out... Yes, I am right. I'm at least content with the knowledge that I'm not a clown such as yourself who thought the nerfed version of Tragedy was even remotely good when the devs stated otherwise. 🤡
  19. Perhaps. But just because some players were able to circumvent it doesn't mean it was in any way acceptable. And if us "crybabies" hadn't caused such an uproar on the forums, you can bet DE would have just left it as it is and called it a day while patting themselves on the back. So maybe some people should try showing gratitude towards the ones who spurred DE to buff Dante (And by extension, Nezha's augment) instead of making derisive comments.
  20. Don't put words in our mouths. Dante WAS in a terrible and unusable place after patch 35.5.3. Especially after the new LoS restrictions added to tragedy. However, DE were quick to backtrack on their heavy handed nerfs and found a good middle ground with most of his kit. I do applaud them for turning Pageflight's status damage increase bug into a feature. And the LoS discourse led them to take a broader look at other frames that were being screwed over by its implementation. As harsh and vitriolic as I was towards DE after that terrible botch job they did, even I'm not too proud to admit that they did well in handling this situation. And now Dante sits proudly among my favorite and regularly used frames.
  21. Orphix... (I bet all of you forgot that mode even exists). Though saying that, I don't necessarily hate it. But as a primarily solo player it is an absolute pain to play because the mode is poorly balanced for people that aren't in a full squad. DE just shoved it into Railjack and left it to die. Void Cascade is a mode I really enjoy though and is probably one of the most rewarding endless missions in the game. Especially with the addition of Omnia fissures. But again, being a solo player, the mode can become unmanageable because it often requires you to be in three places at once. I wish DE would tone it down for smaller squads.
  22. I've never really used Wordwarden as a source of damage but rather a way to quickly recharge Noctua's alt fire so I can keep the buffs rolling. Plus it grants one to every member of your squad. Sure, it's underwhelming damage wise, but it's mostly just a passive ability that you need to refresh every minute. So I'm cool with it as it is. Three Paragrimms is a good enough number. Also, you need to consider the performance issues if more were added to the mix. Especially if there are multiple Dantes in the squad. I can see the iphones and Nintendo Switch's melting from so much going on. Also, it's nice to have frames that aren't so heavily reliant on multiple stats to not only function but to also allow for some build flexibility. I refer you back to Xaku for that example. That'll still encroach onto Wisp's territory though with her motes. Also Light Verse is fine as it is because it's easily spammable and grants i-frames during the cast. I like to think it's a good "oh crap!" button in case you're cornered or simply weren't paying attention. We really don't want Dante to be overtuned or DE absolutely will nerf him to the ground for reals next time.
  23. Not really. I'm not sure if you noticed, but you need only damage enemies with the Noctua's secondary fire in order to gain all the effects of the tome mods. It doesn't matter what you use to deal the killing blow. Since his nuking is perfectly capable, you need only fire a few shots every now and then to keep the buffs up. Though if fire rate is an issue, you could easily replace Fass Canticle with Anemic Agility since his overguard regen means he isn't reliant on shield gating. Honestly, I've never had any issues with the range on his Dark Verse or Paragrimms. He's perfectly capable of locking down and nuking rooms with just Augur Reach and Stretch on his builds. It's in a good place compared to frames like Xaku who absolutely needs high range, strength and duration to even function. Dante already does so much though. If you give him the changes you proposed then he is pretty much both Wisp and Styanax with his augment rolled into one. And that would truly be overpowered.
