  1. Reduce the range, remove LoS and make it as before. Like people say. Makes no sense compared to many other frames. Make us mod for it, and still position around the map (felt like I did that before too, but hey). Heard that many ppl don’t even mod range on him.

    With that being said, he felt “fine” the last time I played him after the nerf. It just felt unnecessarily really annoying at times. And if that's the only diff, and some people say he is just fine still - then why change it at all and would it matter to the people who feels the complaints aren't valid?

    Also, why should Dante enjoyers be punished for giving the squad OG and being called Disruptive? I didn't even know he did that b4 the nerf. Take it off then, and make it an Augment or part of the Passive we then could turn off (can we turn Passives off yet?).

    Also heard DE called him auto mode? How? Never pressed as many buttons on any frame as I do on him. Not that there’s none out there - I just didn't care to really do it before (as a main).

    Also, I have like fully decked him out to get him where he is for me. Not everybody can do that. Not cheap. I can still be killed quite easily if not ACTIVELY playing. Don’t think I’ve seen any Dante just standing around pressing 3, 3, 4. Unless a small tile in a low-level defense.

    • DESCRIPTION: There are several UI issues, and should be tested thoroughly. I’m however reporting a UI related bug with the new RJ Sentinel. You cannot change the energy color of the attachments and they will return to default when you close the cusimization screen. You can get it to look like it’s staying, by reopening the color selection but it won’t stick when you then close the custimization screen. I’ve not tested any other sentinel.

    • REPRODUCTION: Try doing it yourselves.
    • EXPECTED RESULT: It keeping the selected energy color.
    • OBSERVED RESULT: Reverting to default colors.

  2. Railjack

    When in mission, the mini map of the ship in the Tactical Menu is either to high in the UI or too low. Sometimes you can't press the nodes and other rarer times hazards are not showing up. It happens 100 % of the time for me. Seen it happen for others as well (on youtube etc.)

    Was sure you would address this in the last hotfix, as it is so apparent. But here is the official bug report. 🙂

  3. I use the Xbox Elite 2.

    If you are running it through Steam, that’s the reason. Nothing on WFs end.

    I ended up abandoning running it through Steam bc there were so many issues like that. You can fix it tho, by remapping in Steam to activate legacy keys when pressing the controller. Like left bumper is Shift for example. But trust me, easier to just connect it not through Steam by deactivating the controller in there.

    I do miss the keybind options tho. But works sooooooo much smoother now and less input lag for sure.

  4. Exactly the same for me on PC using a controller. Switching to mouse doesn’t even help, only restarting the game.

    Also the search function stops working after awhile in Similacrum, during trade, inventory etc. (Old bug)

    I’m using controller directly and not through Steam.

  5. So Scarlett Spear is delayed? That is totally fine. Rather delay it than repeat the launch of Railjack/Kuva Liches all over again.

    But I'm amazed you STILL do not just tell us! And instead act like it's all good.

    Just say: "We know we said early March, and this week guys ... we are still working to ensure it's great at launch. Sorry for the delay!"

  6. Actually expanding on a video Triburos uploaded a year ago: “The ‘No Man Army’ problem”. Worth a watch btw. 😉 

     

    Problem: Being “forced” to abort any mission type 

    Reason examples:

    1. Forgetting boosters or equipment for various reasons (E.g. just coming from Simi and haven’t equipped your pet again, because vacuum or buffs?)

    2. Squad composition (E.g. redundant frame, missing synergy etc.)

    And many more.

    Fix: So easy and not game breaking at all. Simply just allow a 90 sec window to change loadout in the beginning of a mission)
    The above will work even if you guys ever implement a loadout screen for the full squad before the mission loads. But I understand your reasoning for not having implemented this loadout screen. Pros and cons.

     

  7. Good job guys (tentative).

    I have surely been one of the biggest critics for a while now. But that’s, funnily enough, because I care about the game. As my main time waster it directly affects me when you seem to disconnect from the community, make huge (intentional or not) “mistakes” and the game underperforming in general for whatever reason. And when I support you with not only my time, but my money - then I expect none of those being wasted. The goodwill you have built up also makes you being upheld to a higher standard. Free to play or not.

    All that being said, it seems I should have waited to post a comment until I’ve seen what you were actually going to do.

    Although I still feel there is food for thought in general in my comment, this is absolutely a huge step in the right direction. I applaud you!

     

    We of course have to test everything and some things might be off etc. But even then, I can’t fault anything you talked about.

    BUT crucially in regards to the status changes. If you are not very careful and make sure that 100 % SC with pellet based weapons still means every pellet will proc 1 status - then you will absolutely kill those weapons. That would probably not be the best way to implement this, as you must know.

    If not the case, then it’s great.

    Just as crucial in regards to Arcanes. Be veeeeery careful. Personally I can live with being able to get my current (crazy expensive) Rank 3 Arcanes to a higher level, as long as they more or less keep their current state. Could even live with a MINOR nerf to the current R3. Detectable but very, very minor. But rendering guardian, energize or grace way less usable in general or useless in the case of guardian (it would seem) would be a major MAJOR mistake tho. Nerfing them in general makes no sense at all. They are the most expensive items in game, in every way (time and money). They are fine as is (independently). An items a lot of veterans don’t even have access to at max rank. A TRUE endgame item in a game with no endgame. (Do something about that btw)

    Not stacking - fine, I guess, bc of the above

    Nerfing then, a long with potentially killing pellet based weapons, that will render all the good things you want to implement useless to most current none-“8/10”-knowing what they are talking about and could actually help you improve the game overall-players

    I hope this gets tested thoroughly with players involved. And not just yay sayers/casual players. But players actually heavily invested in Arcanes and how the game works.

    There is still a lot that needs to be addressed and more will surely come. But now I’m closer to where I was earlier in confidence that we can work it out across the board (and table).

    Looking forward to getting my hands on the changes.

     

  8. Just an idea as to how you could easily make rivens a more gameplay thing that we could get more invested in, without breaking the market, RNG or your cash flow.

    What about making us able to lock one, and ONLY one, stat in place after the initial 9 rolls (when it hits the 3,500 roll cost).

    Without us being able to change the selection afterwards. After that only the 2-3 other stats would keep rolling. Making us actually feel like working towards something instead of just rolling a dice and essentially GAMBLING as you have NO control at all.

    This should only apply to unrolled rivens, or rivens which stats have not been locked in at anytime before (by any previous owner).

  9. When using controller I get stuck in all turrets or pilot seat not being able to control anything, if I do anything to “disturb” the UI. For example pressing “menu” or accessing the command overview. I can’t do anything before the mission ends. Neither via controller or keyboard.

    Update Jan. 23: Workaround by pressing X on keyboard works now. NOT a fix tho. The issue is that after you press start/esc and go back to game, the UI thinks you still are in a menu with and with no controller support.

    Also, PLEASE add a “select multiple” option when scrapping wreckage. Jeeez

    Update, Jan 30:

    I’m noticing a severe decline in activity in Railjack. So maybe do something, and a bit faster? You know, before it dies completely. A great start would be to actually AKNOWLEGDE that you did something wrong in the release with balance, monetizing, bugs etc. Instead of just acting like “business as usual”, ”this is fine ...”, “8/10”. Be WITH us!

    Seeing interviews with you or the streams is seriously like watching the news lately. Spin, spin, spin.
