  1. I know they didn't promise anything, but it's still disappointing and honestly I'm tired of hearing the cliche "it's better to be delayed than released buggy" . Yeah yeah we know.

I wish they'd give themselves more time. I'm finally feeling the content drought. At this point though I blame myself for expecting to launch when they hoped. I need to learn to expect people to fail me more XD

  2. I was in a void relic interception mission and after one guy left the rest us were frozen on the void relic selection screen and eventually got kicked with no rewards.

So how do I fix this? I've already put in a support ticket. I'm pissed beyond belief and trying to stay calm so any useful info would be much appreciated.

Banish enemies, rift surge them, they get charged. They are already spreading out through their basic AI. They leave your banish area or you cast banish on them while in the rift plane, They leave the rift plane, charge dissipates, making all enemies around the charged targets get re-banished, knocked down, and take damage. Rift surge again, repeat.

Its a way to spread the banish farther among groups of enemies, regardless if the full group is banished or not. It is also a way to banish enemies to the rift plane without you needing to be in the material plane.

Ok I had a feeling that was it but it sounded redundant to me, but I get it now

  4. I don't get the point as the skill seems really weird. I know what it does, but what good is it?

I would've thought that killed enemies would have a radial banish instead of more surging. The latter is what I really don't get.  What's the point when a surged enemy dies and surges enemies on the material plane?

This game is in beta because they constantly add new content and have people (us) to try and find any bugs with it. That's why their is a bug report section here on the forums.

If warframe were ever to have a "full release", that would mean no more content other than huge updates exclusively for bug fixes, and paid dlc, which Imo would be the death of this game.

As others have stated, and I agree, being in an endless beta is not a bad thing, far from it in fact, they have the freedom to add new things when ever they want, and this keeps things fresh for us, whether it be the player side of you or the beta tester side.

So full release pretty much means when they're done wit hthe game but won't just it down yet?

Ok. I guess means different things from buy to play of sub based games. Thanks to all that gave helpful and non snarky answers.

    It really honestly doesn't matter.

The game is how it is right now and will continue the way it has always been. Fully released or not.

I don't know anything about Paragon, but Warframe should be looked at differently in terms of their developers.

I know it doesn't matter for Warframe as no one pulls the "It's in beta" thing here, but they doo all the time with Paragon. It could could be bad for them over there.

Calling it "open beta" or "full release" won't change its current condition. Whether it's an excuse or not, the game will be operated no differently. Being open beta or full release won't change any prices or frequency or quality of updates. So again, why does this matter?

When it is used as an excuse it's used to deflect cirque, Warframe doesn't do that, but Paragon does, so I'm trying to paint a picture for the future of the latter, but again, if you have a problem you and the other one can leave, there are people willing to not be snarky and I haven't the patience.

Make a new account on a new computer at a different IP and you'll be greeted with the Open Beta Agreement notice. You know, the thing no one bothers to read and they just spam the accept button.

I see, so then what does full realse even mean And can a f2p mmo/game like Warframe of Paragon ever be fully released?

Why does this matter at all?

Read the second paragraph. I don't like the whole "it's in beta" excuse too. But if you have a problem with the thread you can always... go away and not post?

DE said it a long time ago. But they never said something about Warframe not being in Beta anymore. So it's still in Beta.
And as Jakal asked, why does it even matter? I think fully released games become boring quite quickly. All the changes in Warframe just refresh the fun I have playing the game. But then again, that's just me, and I'm sure that's pretty silly of me thinking that way.

How long ago is a long time ago? Could a game not release by then? Did you read the second paragraph? And since when does full release mean "no more changes"

Like most f2p mmos, this is a forever beta with direct contact with developer, which it is new to most of us considering all other mmos are developed way way far east from the rest of us.

Unlike second hand publishers, that call patch updates, that already had gone through beta process on their native developer servers "game updates"

Welp if that's the case, looks like it's 4 years of beta for paragon XD

    Steve doesn't decide stuff.
He is the nice face we see. He "makes" the game. But he has nothing to do with marketing-decisions like calling Warframe Beta.
    So there is that...

So then where did I say DE said they were in BETA? Is there any official statement from the heads of DE? AN update?

But if there is none then I'm afriad Paragon is going to go through the same thing Warframe is/did.

What's the point of this thread?
You said yourself DE says Warframe is in Beta. And that's what counts. It's not important if anyone of the playerbase says otherwise.

I tell you in the second paragraph the point of the thread. And I said Steve joked about it (as in made a comical off handed comment). If you see no point in the thread then there is no point in you posting. Please leave the thread for others to answer in a less snarky manner.

I think it is called beta because they release hotfixes and updates first in PC before applying it to the console to prevent bugs and glitches.

So then will there ever be a full release?

  12. I'm sorry I know this question has been asked multiple times but any topic or thread I look up is from a year or more ago, the game has been through so much since then soooo.....  is the game fully released? What does that even mean anymore anyway? I don't think Devs(of all games) know the difference between beta and release.

The answer seems to be technically "yes" but practically "no" seeing as I've seen Steve joked about it in a Devstream, but I ask because I'm playing Paragon right now and it's in "Open Beta"  and I want to see a definite release and for them not to do what Warframe is doing(did), I'm hoping not to hear "because it's in BETA" anymore soon XD

The two incomplete nodes on Venus are Dark Sector nodes, whereas the incomplete nodes on Lua are standard nodes.

Also, I'm not sure if it's possible to send Extractors to Lua in the first place; all of Lua's nodes were part of Earth prior to the update. Someone else will have to confirm whether or not it is now possible to send Extractors to Lua (because I don't have all of the nodes completed either).

OOHHHH, ok but then what's up with the Jordas one? Looks like I have to do it again.

The blue trails were removed in the most recent hotfix and replaced with white trails.

On Lua: Copernicus, Pavlov, and Stoefler are unlocked, but incomplete.

On Eris: Jordas Golem Assassinate is unlocked, but incomplete. The Jordas Verdict is locked.

On Venus: Malva and Romula are unlocked, but incomplete.

Ok thanks. but then why is it I can send drones to venus but not Lua?

And I already did the Jordas verdict a long time ago (I have atlas)

I think "uncompleted" nodes don't zoom out when you hover on them with your cursor.

Hmm, I don't thinl that part is true, I was thinking anything that was blue was incomplete but there are planet I'm finished that s till have blue nodes and lock planets with blue nodes.

  16. Hello, I hate the new start chart, I find it messy and not very well thought out (BTW I didn't care for the first one either)

But whatever what I need help with is how do I know which nodes I've unlocked or not. I use to have all the nodes unlocked on eris and now I don't anymore what gives?

Is there any guide out their on the new star chart? I don't see how it's supposed to be new player friendly. Also how do I stop it from auto accepting when I click a mission?

  17. When I drag the mouse down while playing warframe the mouse go through warframe and I'm able to click the windows taskbar.

I refuse to play in anything other than windowed because it messes with my frame rate. How can I fix this?

I think it was because I had SMITE in the background, nevermind
