  1. You scared the heck out of me. I just did Archon Spy and it still works. It did not get nerfed. Reasons why Perspicacity doesn't work: You aborted, failed or already hacked the console before. For example: You might have forgot to activate Perspicacity and decided to abort the hack to activate Perspicacity. Sorry but you'll have to manually hack it now. A bug where the game treats two consoles as being the same (so, applies condition 1). Different Bursa consoles count as one Bursa console... you can only hack one type of Bursa console with Perspicacity (tested in Razorback). I vaguely remember... Eidolon Lures? Bounties with Drones that need to be hacked (e.g. Plains of Eidolon). Can only hack the first Drone console with Perspicacity. EDIT: I guess an old fashioned word that rhymes with "chickens" is a "bad" word on the forum now. Boo DE! You can guess the word that rhymes with "chickens" by filling in the blank in: "You scared the ... out of me."
  2. Troll fishing for the big sharks (like the one on the beach in Plains of Eidolon) with a k-drive could be fun.
  3. Status immunity still applies (IIRC, but not the energy-draining immunity from Eximus/Thrax).
  4. I recently tried Rhino on SP Circuit and replaced his Ironclad Charge with Adaptation... I did not see Adaptation providing any help for the overguard shields. If you have like 10,000 Iron skin armor with Adaptation helping, that should kinda like Inaros with 10,000 HP and Adaptation. But it doesn't perform the same as Inaros. So it doesn't work. Don't waste your time.
  5. Umbra gives you some different modding options due to the free Umbra polarities (well, some people consider that a disadvantage). So you can give Umbra some neat build and then make a normal Excalibur with another different build. I like and play both of them... although I'm forced to always use Umbra in SP Circuit 🙁
  6. Yeah, if you really want to use an Exalted Melee, then Baruuk Prime is a really great frame for that! But Excalibur does have that Furious Javelin augment which gives a multiplicative bonus to all melee damage. So if you give Excalibur a "meta" melee and pair it with Furious Javelin, you'll have a great time!
  7. So far, I feel like I am being punished for keeping all the game's more interesting weapons... especially those that are very hard to get. I do not share your favorable experience... feels way worse to me now.
  8. So maybe we'll have a middle-aged Drifter or old-man Drifter to fight the incoming Sentient armies from Tau?
  9. Oh yeah, and you might look at Equilibrium and Health Conversion mods. These work really nicely with the Synth set. I really love the synergy between the Synth set and Equilibrium. In the days before Helminth, I even made a Naramon Khora that could solo 8 rounds of ESO without energy problems largely via Equilibrium and Synth set.
  10. Vulpaphylas are Infested Kavats that have better immortality than Djinn. They respawn after 30 seconds instead of 90 seconds with Djinn's Reawaken augment. I like Sentinels better than Kavats, but they're certainly more delicate. Certain Warframes with CC abilities can greatly extend the life of a Sentinel even in Steel Path. But they will eventually exhaust all Primed Regen stacks if you play an endurance mission long enough.
  11. That works too. But Gas lingers after the enemy dies while Electric does not. Also, if you mod your Sentinel weapon for high fire rate and lots of multishot, you can make the Gas cloud larger via multiple Gas procs and can affect more enemies through that.
  12. If you need more robust companions... you can use it on Vulpaphylas too. Although you can't really fit 100% status Gas damage on Vulpaphylas and so I use Swipe to hit more enemies. But it's not clear to me if Swipe propagates the Synth effect or not (not documented on wiki either). Anyway, it doesn't give as many health orbs as a 100% status Gas modded Sentinel weapon. EDIT: And yes: I suggest (in this order): Verglas, Cryotra and Helstrum. All of these can be modded for 100% status... and don't feel like you have to mod these weapons like normal weapons. You don't need damage (i.e. don't need Serration). You just want 100% status and Gas damage. If you want some additional survivability on your Sentinel, you can change Gas to Radiation which should redirect fire away from your Sentinel. But you'll get less health orbs.
  13. You can force Health Orbs out with Synth mods. If you use this with Sentinels that have 100% status Gas modded weapons (e.g. Verglas), then you get a lot of health orbs. And the Synth Fiber will ensure you can always pick up health orbs even at full health.
  14. I don't know why this would vex you. It's a Warframe-specific way to say that: There's only so much off time. Whether that's an evening after work, a Saturday, or whatever... you have a fixed amount of off time and that's the real currency here. If DE's goal is to saturate your off time with so many timed tasks that you miss some of them, then they're starting to succeed. But I don't think that's their intention because they did add things like Weekly challenge recovery for Nightwave. The real transaction is this: DE will give you guaranteed access to the Kullervo (however you spell it) twice in exchange for 10-20 minutes of your time (that's about how long it takes me personally to get 10 Pathos Clamps anyway). They probably did this to prevent players from consuming whatever new content is there too fast. What I am saying is that this isn't necessary because we already need to spend lots of our fixed off time on other timed tasks too! Yeah, that's a nice option you point out. I guess you can grind for Pathos clamps on certain spirals and spend those clamps during spirals when Kullervo is not available.
  15. 5 Pathos Clamps is unnecessary because DE already gives us a lot of weekly tasks to do. Having to grind Pathos Clamps in addition to Nightwave, Archon Hunts, SP Circuit and Khal is a little excessive. On top of that, some players also do Sorties, Arbitrations and the recurring events like Thermia fractures... so did you really need to us to give more time to grind 5 Pathos Clamps in addition to the time needed to run the event mission?
  16. This is nicer but I'd like to have the option to select which duplicate Warframe or variant. For example, I have Excalibur and Excalibur Umbra and I play both. Both are modded and forma'd differently. I'd like to try Excalibur in SP Circuit, but you force me to play Umbra. EDIT: Another example: I now play with both Braton Prime and Braton Vandal and plan to have both made Incarnon. I used to play with only Vandal but SP Circuit forced me to play Prime. Now that I have both, I'd like to be able to choose between them.
  17. And it doesn't work so well if an enemy puts a ridiculous DoT proc on you, better get a status immunity ability from Helminth... and doesn't work at all for Toxin. It can take some reflex and I think *gasp* skill to press a button within 1.3 seconds while dealing with high density bullet sponges surrounding you.
  18. Lato Vandal Incarnon is ridiculous! I got lucky enough to equip it in SP Circuit and it can one-shot enemies even a few tiers (not merely rounds!) in... and by one-shot, I mean one-shot your target and a large number of surrounding targets. It's kinda like AoE but you have to hit one target for it to hit everything around the target. It even builds up Incarnon pretty quickly.... very handy! You can safely ignore your primary or melee if you get Lato Vandal Incarnon in SP Curcuit. It's surprisingly way more powerful than it appears! EDIT: I don't think the power gap practically matters here. It performs well enough to go through several consecutive tiers of SP Circuit just by itself.
  19. It isn't even completely a preference aspect... as an exaggeration, you could prefer to use Stug and maybe you could somehow make that work... but Stug is the absolute worst weapon in the game preference or not. Again, I exaggerate as Exalted Blade isn't anywhere that bad! But it is pretty bad... Maybe you know and accept that many normal melees eclipse Exalted Blade... whether with its augment or Archon mods or not or whatever. And maybe you know that the "meta" melees far exceed Exalted Blade and you still would like to make it work... Have a look at Baruuk's exalted melee and just see the difference. It's hilariously powerful! I just can't believe an exalted melee can perform like that. If you didn't think DE should buff Exalted Blade of exalted melees in general before, then Baruuk should definitely convince you that Exalted Blade is an extremely underperforming exalted melee not even worth using.
  20. Disclaimer: I'm not an Excalibur main. I actually subsume over Exalted Blade. Exalted Blade is so incredibly bad! I've really tried to make it work... with/without its augment and even with Archon mods. It's just awful compared to normal melee weapons. You know, just give Excalibur a Glaive and forget he even has Exalted Blade! Or heck, any other good melee weapon that can equip combo mods (or even a Riven). I actually use Blind for the Shield Gating loop on normal Excalibur. If you hear your shields go down? You press 2 for CC and instantly have all your shields back (if you have a Decaying Dragon Key and don't mod for efficiency). I don't know how well my awesome Furious Javelin normal Excalibur works in SP Circuit because I'm forced to use Excalibur Umbra there! I wish DE would let me choose which Excalibur I want since they're practically different frames with that lame sentient passive. Now my Excalibur Umbra is built with Gloom. And this guy can survive a few tiers of solo SP Circuit just fine... and even manages Defense with a combination of Gloom's slow and his Blind ability which helps immensely! But don't use Operator... because Excalibur Umbra will stop using Gloom automatically when he becomes sentient! Nice... EDIT: If you're curious, my normal Furious Javelin Excalibur with Cerata/Phage/Catabolyst can do ~1 hour solo SP Circulus runs on Lua (1 hour is the most I care to do). But he's very dependent on Companions since I built mine to use Equilibrium... and he does need to Shield Gate with Blind.
  21. At the very least, the Undercroft needs to allow companions... I use companions heavily to aid some of my builds (particularly Synth mods). EDIT: Oh right, there's also some really creative uses of Mecha mods on a frame like Lavos... but you need companions to use Mecha mods. No Mecha mods for Lavos in SP Circuit ☹️
  22. SP Circuit helps ensure that completionists actually properly build what they collect. So, over time, MR will start to have more meaning...
  23. Those look like Warframe feet to me... kinda like Voruna, Valkyr, Nidus Prime, Chroma Prime, Nekros Prime. I return the question to you... how do you not see this? The legs particularly scream "Warframe" to me. Yeah, I guess it could be a Zealoid. It certainly doesn't match Drifter/Operator's physique.
