I don't know if I can post videos on here, but I do have one if it is needed. When I use Sling Stun on moas in the zariman tileset, I do not under any circumstances get the option to use a finisher on them. I circle around them spamming X and get nothing. I know for a fact that I correctly used Sling Stun since the moa staggers back when hit, and the humanoid enemies can be finished just fine. Every source I've seen says that finishers work on them, but I cannot figure out how.
