I get no complaints when using Octavia. Mostly on the grounds that I give energy and buffs while Limbo and Mesa do their thing.

I feel base Octavia looks very unique. She really does stand out with all her lights, colors, and plume.

Yea I hate those, I believe one of them is for the The Last Word. However that weapon got nerfed into the ground so there is no reason in even doing the quest.
Their balancing is such a mess that they are even power capping certain weapons.

You are not really missing anything in Destiny, I would say stick with Warframe.
As for Scarlet Spear, it will be confusing at first but pretty interesting once you get the hang of it.

True, while I agree this does seem a bit pointless, I do like to compare two seasonal events to show that Warframe is not bad.
Plus we are already comparing Warframe with Destiny 2 since it is our main competitor. I also know there will be people who are like "I'm gonna leave for D2, it is a way better game" over Scarlet Spear.

Scarlet Spear might be lackluster and awful, yet I feel Destiny 2's Season of the Worthy might actually be worse in some areas.
Scarlet Spear is at least free and you still have stuff to do. Season of the Worthy in my opinion is more lackluster and you gotta pay for it. Trials of Osiris is a mess and honestly not that good. Yet what PVE players got to compensate is a watered down game mode where all you do is throw balls.
It is clear that in D2 Trials of Osiris is the main event while PVE is a afterthought. Yet it just so happens that Trials is bad too, maybe even worse than Scarlet Spear. It will be like if the next major update is a extension to Conclave.
However what do you feel is the worse poison? Scarlet Spear or Season of the Worthy?
I will say one thing Season of the Worthy has over Scarlet Spear are the Russian cosmetics.

As of now there are not really any good rewards in the conclave, so there is no reason to get standing. Conclave mods are exclusive to conclave only, so they have no use in PVE.
The only rewards that are kind of worth it in conclave are cosmetics. The weapon skins and the Celestia Syandana can only be obtained in concalve. However the only good cosmetic people want is the elite armor set, which can be bought with plat.
I am ok if they allow other ways to get standing, but it first needs better rewards as well.

Funny enough one of my first Rivens was for the Plasma Sword. Despite selling it for 5p nobody would take it, I ended up trashing it. The Plasma Sword is so bad that even a Riven for it is worthless.

That is definitely true, I personally find some Warframes like Mesa boring. However I will admit all I do is stand in a corner and press 4. So I am pretty much playing her in a boring way.

Makes sense, some people would not want to listen to the same tunes constantly. Nor do they want to spend plat on a frame that is already pretty difficult to acquire. Thus turning some people off, since her music is what you will be hearing from majority of the time playing her.
I am not a big fan of Adau either. Personally I feel all her instruments should be available from the get go.

Getting Octavia nerfed is not my intention. I do not feel she is broken or harmful to the game.
I will admit that if more people started using Octavia then DE might actually nerf her. Though I feel it will take at least quarter of the playerbase using Octavia for that to happen.

I am not saying Octavia is bad or an awful Warframe, in fact she is quite the opposite.
Octavia is generally considered to be one of the strongest Warframes in the game. As well as arguably being one of the best support Warframes too.
In addition to that, she also has other aspects that make her great:
- Her signature weapons are very solid guns. Thus you can use them on Octavia without being underpowered as well as still granting the bonuses.
- She can be played anywhere and still do great.
- Her base design is just pure eye candy.
- Her mandachord makes her one of the most unique and creative Warframes in the game.
However despite all these reasons I almost never see a player using Octavia. I believe I only see an Octavia player once a month or non at all.
From what I understand I hear it is mostly from these reasons:
- Very hard to acquire, requires puzzle solving, RNG, and a quest.
- While very pleasing to the eye people don't like her marching band look. Nor do they like her fairy-like deluxe skin, or her Hatsune Miku Tennogen skin.
- The mandachord does require plat investment to get the perfect song.
- While I find her a lot of fun, many people do consider her very boring to play.
Those are the reason I can think of. Let me know if you have some others, I am pretty much unable to find a solid answer.

A long way to go, thankfully Warframe is not like Destiny or Suicide Squad to be at risk of being put in maintenance mode.
