FateZero, I meant the Crysis-like suit. It reflects pretty well what I see when I try to imagine the berserker. And before anyone goes bashing me, I'm not saying she should look like a Crysis rip-off, just that the proportions are more in line with the berserker I would like to see.

Why oh why everytime someone says "just a LITTLE more muscle mass" there is always another someone to "go berserk" and repeat the same thing that was 3 posts above saying "I don't want a female Rhino"... Seriously...
Between the drawing DE gave us and RHINO there is a world of difference, so stop the female Rhino bs, We're just talkin about a proportionate physique, not an 80 pounds chopstick, nor a 300 pounds Rhino-like bodybuilder...
And showing more drawings made by different people each having a different definition of what a fit woman looks like isn't really helping, Although the one posted by FateZero is what corresponds to my mental image of what the berserker should look like, proportion wise.

There is a difference between "SheHulk" and "athletic". There is, seriously. Oh and I'm sorry but in my mind, a "chopstick on heels" isn't even remotely "berserk"-ish...
Emphasis on - in my mind -, prove me wrong DE, and I will be the first to apologize, I can promise you that!

I'm not sure what to think of this. As far as I know, berserker (it's not supposed to be a "z" apparently but who cares) is a warrior that wears the skin of a bear, ("ber-" means "bear" in old norse) and works himself into a rage before battle, or takes drugs to "go berserk" (see what I did there? lol) and beat the crap out of anything and anyone around them. And yes, "anyone" means that sometimes they killed each others, I saw old paintings from norse history showing berserkers attacking trees and rocks, so they must heave been really pissed or really high on mushrooms. So most of the posts I read saying that a berserker fights with no armor are right, but their argument is kinda flawed. I have no problem with a Frame that has vitrtually no armor, since the pain is supposed to act as fuel for rage, but I'm not sure about the "skinny chick with cat claws". Don't get me wrong, I don't want a SheHulk, but a minimum of muscle mass wouldn't hurt, she could look athletic without losing any of her femininity or look like a bodybuilder.
If you read that post in it's entirety, kudos! Because I'm not sure it's even relevant or if anyone here cares, just my modest contribution.

First, YOU started the hostile "Wiki user" thing, you're the hostile one here, first chance you have to be constructive and add something to the debate, what do you do? Bash someone else's post...Riiight I'm hostile... And then apparently you can't read... I did not use Wikipedia, I used a book as a reference, so get over yourself, contribute. And you know there are people that actually have lives and can't spend them on forums...
As for the origins of the word, there are several theories, but since you seem to know everything about the subject go ahead and share your immense knowledge with the class. If not, I suggest you keep your hostility to yourself.
