First time submission. Have largely tried to keep the dojo part of the Warframe universe, as well keeping it functional and navigable with in-game signage. Tried focusing on smaller details instead (The way light hits the rock textures in the shrine room, the compact greebles of the mech, little display text for objects, unfortunate dead fish in the aquarium tank etc.) since larger builds aren't my forte.

  2. Railjack Exterminate/Defense could do with more fleshing out. As everyones said, having them behave like Skirmish POI's so not everyone is forced to enter the capital ship would be the biggest immediate change. And people have also suggested adding more interaction between the away crew and the railjack crew during these modes, but I'd like to give some specific suggestions (With an overall formula to follow for further RJ modes).

Once the Exterminate/Defense portion of the mission begins, enemy crewships could intermittently start to warp in and the Railjack crew would have to prevent them from "dropping off" more enemies (the actual enemy number wouldn't increase for those onboard the capital ship), and destroying them in time would count as an instant 10-20 kills or perhaps even a wave wipe for Defense. What this accomplishes is it gives those staying behind the Railjack an objective to do, and by doing so they can assist in speeding up the mission in a way you can't in regular Exterminate/Defense, further differentiating it. But most importantly, if they do fail to take out the transports or if all team members board the capital ship, there shouldn't be any additional penalty or failstate (Outside of the Railjack being destroyed of course), the Exterminate/Defense just plays out normally.

And thats what could set core mission modes from their regular versions when put into Railjack, going in with a co-ordinated team would help them speed up or provide benefits that the normal missions don't have. That could be the thing that gives players a positive reason to choose those over their regular counterparts, outside of different loot drop tables. I've created a list of potential objectives for RJ versions for other regular modes.

RJ Interception - When a communication tower has been captured, a small group of satellites spawn in open space and the RJ crew can destroy them to reset the towers to neutral.

RJ Survival - The RJ crew can collect life support modules from destroyed enemy ships/wreckage, and once enough have been collected they can use a temporary alt-fire on the forward artillery to launch a life support tower (Could either be a bonus tower than spawns or perhaps a special one that when fired immediately gives the away crew 50% of life support once landed, no activation required).

RJ Mobile Defense - Once a datamass is uploaded to a terminal, certain fighters could be destroyed and they could drop a data-key, which would knock off 5 seconds to the hacking (Think about it like the Rescue Bounty from Orb Vallis).

RJ Spy - If an alarm gets triggered, the RJ crew can fire upon junction boxes on the hull of the ship to temporarily halt the countdown timer (Unlike Override though, the pause would be far less and in the case of 2 or 3 data vault alarms then multple junction boxes would need to be destroyed per vault).

RJ Rescue - At the extraction point could be the rescue targets personal ship, and if the RJ crew manages to defend it from enemy fighters for them so they can escape on it then players could earn a bonus reward.

And just to emphasise, all of these would be optional. If the Railjack crew wants to hang back to visit POI's, gather resources or destroy fighters then they can gladly do so without feeling like they're being a direct detriment to the away teams.

Also have another, less pressing suggestion. While Gian Point was understandably axed, I think there's still value in having a mode that's just Exterminate but with fighters/crewships and no POI's. In which case, I'd like to suggest these types be kept as Skirmish, and the ones that do feature POI's are renamed to something like "Strike" or "Assault" (Which would also be a good time to change the Mission Type name for Koro on the Kuva Fortress to Sabotage, because, well, that's honestly what it is).

  3. Made an earnest attempt at using the Mandachord, and got... ok results with the percussion, but sadly I don't have the patience or skills to fully use it, at least not decently lol.

Was wondering if you could do Goodbye Mr. A - The Hoosiers, specifically the beat from 0:10-0:20 was what I had in mind, but if any other part of the song works better/is easier that's fine too. If none of it's workable then no worries.

I can imagine you'll be getting a higher influx of requests over the next few weeks, so best of luck Buff00n and keep doing amazing work.

  4. Not the best quality (PS4 Share + mostly red scene = youtube compression hell), plus was also planning on a smooth fade out to black with the advance camera tool as well, but camera placement/interpolation was getting too hectic. Still, fwiw, think it turned out pretty ok. Also probably wanna mute since the Necramech slide audio is nonstop lol.

  5. Same situation for me. Can't find the Nova Prime Pack nor the Accessories Pack, and checked the store both on PS4 and PC. fwiw I'm from the UK. Been itching to get the Edo armor set so hopefully it's solved soon.

P.S. has anyone else noticed the Mag Prime Pack still being available for purchase when accessing the PS Store through the Warframe Marketplace? Haven't bought it since I don't need/want it so idk if it's actually possible to get, but thought it was funny still seeing it there even after over a year.

  6. This has been a thought on my mind even as early as the first NW Intermission from last year. One of the common complaints surrounding the unique promotional content for Warframe is that it can be very easy to miss out at times if you're not always following the social media for it (And in some unfortunate circumstances not receiving the reward even if you do participate AKA faulty drops), or if you're a new player you tend to miss out entirely on some bonus items to customize your orbiter/warframes. Thankfully it's nothing essential of course, but it is nevertheless a bummer that some cool trinkets like the Orokin Tea Set or Prominence Wisp Totem are out of some players grasps. There're even odd situations like how the Shadow Debt noggle bundle featuring the Acolytes will regularly return for purchase once a year, but the Stalker noggle, a key figure in Warframe and the head of this group, was merely a promo code from 4+ years ago and hasn't been seen since.

Nightwave would be a great opportunity to have some of these come back either as Rank Rewards or Cred Store items to give people another chance to acquire them. After all this is already a type of system that Warframe has employed for many years now. Usually new weapons/mods/rewards are handed out (Typically with an extra bonus like a pre-installed catalyst & slot) in an Operation/Event, are allowed a period of exclusivity, and then that content is folded back into the base game's loot tables to allow players who missed out a chance to earn/grind for it. Plus, the precedent was partially set with the Liset Athari Skin returning in Intermission II, so it'd be nice to see DE expand on this and bring more of these items back in the future. Personally I don't see any issues with this, but what do you think?

I mean, it beats getting an Anasa Sculpture at Rank 23 doesn't it?

  7. Just something I noticed. Now that you can preview mods you don't own and read what they actually do now in the modding screen (Great addition btw) I was curious to see if it's the same for the Codex in the Universe section. At the moment the mods descriptions are still showing up as "????? ?? ???????" the same as they used to. Not game breaking, but might need to be fixed for consistencies sake.

  8. For someone having said their peace and gone from the thread, they sure were quick to jump back in... 😏

TFW, you run this every week like clock work, because Clem is your favorite NPC and his specters useful in some circumstances...

No disrespect meant to the best Grineer defector out there by any means, love my lad Clem and always pay him a quick visit on a relay or Iron Wake. Wish I had more use for specters in general personally speaking.

    42 minutes ago, kwlingo said:

I agree Clem has been lonely. This mode provides nothing for players, just something to do versus the ayatan statue converging was a great idea. Possible complete Clem to receive random packs of the gems to fill ayatan with one random ayatan statue. This will only allow 2 per week from both events and if we are lucky we don't have to farm the gems solo. Other than that they need to give us a better reward for clem. I'd be happy with 1 forma blueprint also.

Honestly any kind reward table for the Help Clem weekly alert would be a welcome one. Even if it was just a guaranteed radiant relic from the current pool in the star chart that would give people a little more positive drive to hop in for 10 mins, instead of the general apathy felt when the NW challenge crops up every few weeks only to soon be forgotten again until next time. The suggestion for vaulted relics was more to give it a bit more spice, and what better way to increase the love for the Cult of Clem than have him grant us the opportunity for some really special goodies, no matter the low drop rate?

    6 minutes ago, Kamachi said:

I run the mission regardless because I like having Clem fight alongside me although I'd be more than happy to get a little extra for my time spent. Solid suggestion in my opinion.

    Why thank you ☺️

  9. Well, ignoring the unnecessary snarkiness, I'll be happy to respond.

The primary purposes of vaulting relics is to a) make sure that they do not over saturate the current loot table in the start chart and b) allow vaulted prime parts maintain a certain value that allows the plat market to remain stable.

This is merely a suggestion to bring some life/purpose to a near dead, neglected mode, and injecting it with a meaningful enough incentive to at least try it out in the hopes of potentially getting a valuable reward, something that gives vets, newbies and returning players a chance on something they may have missed. Even at a rate of 52 vaulted relics a year on top of a 10% chance at a rare if radded that's hardly enough to disrupt the market or value of them.

Yes, it's not a optimal meta for acquiring vaulted relics. But I never suggested it as one that's meant to be. It's merely meant to be a novel once-a-week 10 min mission for a chance of getting a special drop, and if you don't feel that's worth your time? Then no sweat, play literally anything else in the game.

  10. The title is pretty much the tl;dr, but let me elaborate. We all love our good Grineer boi, and the Alert is more or less meant to be nothing more than a fun joke activity. But I can't help but think that there could be a little more potential in giving it some purpose to warrant being a Weekly Alert. Even thousands of hours into the game I'll still take the time to do Maroo's Weekly Ayatan Treasure Hunt since it's free endo, along with any mod drops from the Orokin Towers (And it can be completed in under 3-4 mins with the right frame). Completing a 10 min survival for only a specter BP just doesn't seem like a good time investment all things considered.

So what would be a worthwhile reward to offer? Well, what if each week by helping Darvo and Clem we were given the chance to earn any currently vaulted relic? It would already fit with the goal of the mission for starters. It gives both vets and new players a chance at obtaining a relic which in turn they can choose to sell for a couple of plat or take a chance at earning prime parts that they might've missed out on. If that's still potentially hazardous to the in-game economy (although 1 vaulted relic per week still seems like peanuts to the hundreds many players already have in their inventory), then the pool could be opened up for all relics instead. While 10-12 mins for a single relic still might not seem worth it for some, it's still more than what is currently offered, and the prospect of earning an Axi L1/L4 or Meso D1 no matter the drop rate must be worth at least one survival mission a week. Any thoughts?

  11. Yeah, there's definitely a point where dirac hits a point where you begin accruing more than you can realistically use, and if you've manage to grind Scarlet Spear into the ground you're pretty much set for life (I managed to go from 12k to nearly 200k in 3 weeks lol). I was actually pleased when they announced that they'd patch it so you'd need dirac for valence fusion, but since that's only for built parts and not for wreckage it quickly became near useless again.

There're a couple of ways that it could be made useful again for players sitting on a mountain of the stuff. Firstly, DE could introduce transmuting for avionics, but instead of costing credits it would cost dirac. Second, adding a straight up conversion system from dirac to endo. The last idea is a bit more complex. At TennoCon 2019 during the Empyrean demo there was a brief moment where they showed off a reinforcement tab where you could use resources like titanium to give temporary buffs to your railjack for a couple of missions (You can see this here). It'd be neat if this feature was brought back, but instead dirac was the resource used. There'd need to be balancing of course (How much dirac would be fair for it to cost to reinforce, whether the buff lasts per no. of missions or naturally depletes during combat, how good those buffs are), but it could either be something that's there as a pure resource sink for a little QoL during a mission, or if we get much harder Railjack content later down the line it could be an integral part of prepping for higher rank missions, making dirac actually worth farming for again.

  12. A handy thing about the Warframe Wiki is that at the bottom of the Abilities page for every warframe it'll show you a simplified view of what abilities are affected by strength, duration and range mods, as you can see here with Excalibur.

    lzLZqas.png

Obviously not as detailed as a full breakdown with numbers, but for a quick overview of what types of mods will affect which abilities its very clear and helpful.

So around a year ago Pablo and Richard added the ability stats and tooltips directly to the Upgrade screen for quick reference, which was a very welcome addition. I'd like to suggest a further iteration though. It'd be great if when hovering over or selecting a mod those ability icons would dynamically change color or fade out based on whether the mod has any impact on them. Here's an example of how this would look like.

    Ho0MMfd.png

As you can see it's now easy to tell that a mod like Continuity will have a direct, positive effect on Excalibur's 2nd and 4th ability, while his 1 and 3 are grayed out indicating that they're unaffected. This could even work just by hovering over mods in the inventory below, meaning you'd get an idea of what affect they'll have even before installing/swapping them out.

It'd especially be helpful for new players, as it'd subtly ease them into the concept of how certain mods can have an effect on multiple abilities without overloading them with stats and numbers. If a newbie player just wants to add some more strength and get an idea for what abilities it'll buff up they can get quick feedback without having to hover over the icon everytime to check. It also helps to clear up the few times when some abilities that seem like they'd be affect by an ability modification when in fact they're not, like Harrow's Covenant not scaling with range mods.

Here's another example using a corrupted mod.

    r3xL6GH.png

Here you can see his 1 and 3 are green for increasing strength, his 2 now red for debuffing duration, and I've made the 4th yellow since the mod has two modifiers that affect Exalted Blade in different ways (Might be better as another color since readability can be hard to see, especially for players who are colorblind. Just chose yellow for now since it's a mix of red and green). This would probably need a tutorial tooltip to explain, but visually it would at least communicate that the mod has a mixed effect on the ability.

Obviously this isn't meant to be a replacement for proper stats, but just as a small QoL addition that could be carried over for when the Upgrade screen gets a more significant overhaul this would be a neat addition.

I logged out and it seems normal now

Same. Was having issues with clicking linked items and names, but quitting the game and logging back in seems to have fixed it.

  14. I have a few more UI QoL suggestions I'd like to make. Apologies in advance for the wall of text.

    • A re-adjustment of what common/uncommon/rare resources or components show up on the left and at the bottom of the HUD might be due. This was primarly going to be in regards to Empyrean but it's worth looking at all across the starchart just to tidy things up, like what was done with Kuva drops recently (Very nice change btw, shoutouts to whoever tweaked that). I've always seen the left display as a spot for special or singular drops, and the bottom list useful for keeping track of what you've picked up but not immediately necessary to see. At the moment it's kind of overkill how everything in railjack will appear to the left, and it can take a while for it to cycle though each one. Here's a suggestion list for how it could be reorganised.

    To the bottom:

    • All common and uncommon Empyrean resources in the Proximas
    • Carbides and Cubic Diodes on the starchart

    To the left:

    • Kavat Genetic Code
    • Somatic Fiber
    • Animo Nav Beacon

Bonus suggestion: it'd be neat to see the bottom list be redesigned to fit in style with the left. A change in font, decrease the size very slightly and adding a faded vitruvian wavey graphic behind the text would be fab.

    • On the topic of the HUD, a lot of the HUD elements per warframe could do with some aligning. For example, Khora's Venari display is angled accurately with the Abilities and Weapons Stats display, whereas for Wukong when activating Celestial Twin or Defy it's completely horizontal and misaligned. Might be worth reviewing all warframes and seeing which ability displays can be corrected so that they're parallel with the rest of the HUD.

    • When holding R1 to access your Railjack abilities, could the name of each one be displayed above them as well? Just so it's easier to determine which one is which before activating, the battle avionics icons can be hard to distinguish.

    • What if the Warframe logo in the new loading screen matched with the logo change for updates (so at the moment it would be the current Empyrean one, and then change over to whatever next update has)? Just a thought, nothing major. It is cool though that it currently changes color depending on what interface is chosen in the Options, in which case it depends on what people would prefer, I wouldn't mind either way.

As always kudos for the hard work.

Since you are addressing major quality of life issues in this update, here are two more that should be considered:

    1. Universal vacuum (univac), in all modes and situations. Not only would that free up a slot on sentinal weapons and beast companions which is currently effectively reserved for this purpose, it would also help in situations where pets and companions do not apply (e.g. Operator form), and reduces the dependance on keeping your pets and companions alive (in endless missions, people currently want to outright die deliberately if their pet is fully dead because playing without vacuum for an extended period is utterly miserable).

Had a thought about this. What if instead of a mod for a Sentinel, Vacuum became a mod for the Parazon? That would solve the issue of mod space for companions, and losing it when they die in a mission. Plus it already words by sucking up items to your Warframe directly, so functionally it makes sense for the Parazon. Of course that then brings up the issue of taking up 1/3 of Parazon slots, so that would need some rebalancing. Maybe increasing Parazon Mod space to 5 slots, that'd allow for people to have 3/5 slots to mess around with (knowing that the majority of players would go with Intruder/Vacuum), or sacrifice those two for the full 5/5 slots to make creative use of the rest of the current Parazon mods.

Not sure this counts as a UI suggestion, but just something that crossed my mind.

  16. Have another update. So pretty regularly I leave Warframe suspended when putting my PS4 into rest mode or using other apps. Closed it down properly today to play another game for a while and then hopped back onto Warframe. I decided to do a test and after killing myself with the Kuva Bramma, I was able to respawn normally. Will do a bit more testing later but it's possible this issue is related to when Warframe is suspended.

  17. Pretty self explanatory. Thought it might've been an issue only with Archwing when solo farming in Interception (recurred multiple times), but just had a situation where the team wiped in a void fissure and I couldn't respawn. Pressing X does nothing, the only thing I can do is move the cursor around and press pause to abort mission.

Update: Issue also happens even when soloing.

  18. With the new Corpus Ship tile set inbound for later this year, we'll soon be saying goodbye to the old tile sets which have been in the game since Warframe's old beta days. As excited as I am for the remaster, I can't help but feel that it might be a wasted opportunity to delete them from the game entirely like what we saw with the original Gas City tile set. Instead of doing that, wouldn't it be cool to see them moved over to the Corpus Outpost tile sets? We know that they're compatible since the two already share a number of tiles together, it would just be a case of moving the rest over. A number of them would work surprisingly well recontextualised as the interiors of large Corpus industry complexes, and a change of skybox/lighting would breathe a little bit of new life into them. It would also give more variety in the generated levels for Venus, Neptune and Pluto. In fact, what might be even cooler to see is moving the old Corpus Ship tile set to just one of those planets, giving it a distinct appearance over the other ones.

DE have said that they plan to do more overhauls down the line, and I look forward to seeing new and unique tile sets for Venus, Neptune and Pluto eventually, but realistically it'll be a few more years before we see that (Not a knock against DE, just the reality of development time). I also understand the compulsion to start with a new clean slate and officially retire the outdated content, but I don't see any shame in making smart asset reuse. Anyone else agree?

    Spoiler

Truthfully, 90% of the reason I made this post is because I don't want to see the removal of the 200ft drop next to one of the elevators. #SaveTheElevatorShaftDrop

Regarding the trouble with the economy, and I didn’t read the entire thread so sorry if this is a repeat question, why can’t DE just make cross saving a one time thing? Coming from a console player, I’m planning on switching to pc and I have no intention on going back to console afterwards. If they make cross save a one time thing then people can’t take advantage of the different economies. Im not the brightest so I’m probably missing something, but the only problems I can see with it are when a pc player switches to console because the updates come out first on pc. Generally curious though, what problem(s) can anyone see with this idea.

I forget when but there was a time where DE did allow for a one time transfer for console players to transfer their saves/accounts to PC, so there is precedent for them to potentially do it again. And you're right that a one-way transfer would keep the economy mostly stable.

The main appeal however of cross-save is that your saves can transfer both ways, so there's a lot of public expectation from everyone that if there was save transferring there wouldn't be too many complicated restrictions on it, especially with kerfuffles like with what Pokemon has run into lately with its save transfers (Long story short, it's a mess). While not the majority by any stretch I'd still wager there's a fair number of players that have friends of Warframe on multiple platforms, and either have had to set up different accounts or simply been cut off from playing with them. Plus I'm not sure if that one-time save transfer DE did was part of a special agreement with Sony/MS. I'm only speculating but I can't imagine they'd be happy with players having the freedom to mass migrate all the time with no way of coming back to their ecosystem.

when I couldn't afford a pc, I was playing warframe on ps4. Since then, I have 500 hours of gameplay on ps4 but I finally buy a good pc. The question is: Does cross save allow you to put the progress of your ps4 account (warframe, weapon, dojo ...) on another platform (so pc) or so it's just to transfer your progress to the same platform but not the same account? Sorry I haven't read everything, I don't know if the answer has already been given but my English is really bad (I have to use google translation to write this ^^) thanks in advance

No problem, I think I can answer that for you. Cross-save would allow you to transfer your progress from your PlayStation Network account to a PC Warframe account, or the opposite way. Your progress (Warframes, weapons, Star Chart) would be shared on both accounts at the same time, or at least when you manually make the transfer from one to the other. (Dojo's I would not believe would transfer over, since they are clan/group locations). Sorry if I've misunderstood your question, I hope that helps.

  20. I'd like to make one request in regards to Hold to Confirm. If it gets added to the game, can it please be used for everything that you purchase/rush with plat? I'll be honest, I still get a tinge of anxiety when clicking on certain tabs or browsing through the marketplace because I'm never 100% sure if I'll be instantly buying that item or taken to a screen with more information. And I've lost a couple of plat in the past when mass crafting a bunch of PoE/Orb Vallis resources and accidentally button mash too much, which ends up with me having rushed the last few seconds instead of claiming it (A system for queuing up items to craft and mass claim would be more ideal, but a Hold to Confirm Rush prompt would be a good compromise for now) .

Even if there was a 1-2 second hold delay that would be enough to prevent accidental and unwanted purchases, which would especially be beneficial to new players who haven't fully grasped what all the systems in the game are and still exploring the menus.

And of course some people may not prefer that, so there should be an option to turn it off/on in the Interface options menu.

  21. It's something that's been a hot topic for months now. Demand for it is there, and for good reason, yet I haven't been able to gauge what people’s expectations for it will be if or when it eventually arrives, or even seen a larger discussion about what cross save would actually entail for Warframe as a whole. I've had some thoughts about this for some time, and want to see what concerns/ideas everyone else had.

As for what I think, to me there are 3 main hurdles that Digital Extremes will have to overcome, and are probably what they’re racking their minds over right now.

    In-Game Economy

If I were a betting man this is probably the largest factor I would guess as to what is making cross save a "Soon...™"  feature than a "Soon™ :)" feature, or possibly preventing it from materializing at all. While other games with cross save do have loot, paid virtual currency and microtransactions, one thing they don't have to consider is said loot/currency being freely traded between players, leading to a player driven in-game economy. People reading this are probably thinking "So? It couldn't be that bad to allow trading across platforms, what's the big deal?", but I think the reality is a lot more complicated. Each platform has its own economy balance and inflation rates that are ever evolving, primarily due to the way plat purchasing and vouchers work differently for PC and console players. As such, plat on consoles is a lot more valuable, and while prices are generally lower the amount of plat in circulation and generally smaller playerbase makes items for trade all the more precious.

Another factor is what you buy from the Marketplace. On PC Prime Access is bought with platinum and TennoGen items directly with real money, whereas on consoles it's the reverse. I can already foresee a scenario where people purchase a bunch of discounted plat on PC and then begin switching to their console save to mass buy a lot of skins and bundles for far lower than intended. It might potentially lead to a short term boost in profits for DE, but Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo and even TennoGen contributors could see a loss and would certainly have complaints about being cut out of their share of money.

I'll be honest and admit I'm no economist, or savvy with math at all, so I don't truly know how much of an issue this is, or if unifying all trading would have any lasting impact. But without any consideration into the short and long term effects it could have this would potentially lead to a massive upset in the community (Moreso than any expansion or content addition to date) or hurting DE and platform holders financially.

    Updates

With the spaghetti code ever evolving and the disparity between how up-to-date Warframe on PC can be vs the cert processes on other platforms, I can't imagine how difficult it would be to keep everyone's inventory and settings intact without something eventually glitching or getting deleted accidentally. I'm about as good of a programmer as I am an economist (Re: I'm neither) so again I couldn’t tell you for sure whether or not it’s possible to have your progress carry with no issues, but I can't imagine having a save transferring between different builds of the same game would be stable. The only solution would appear to be releasing all future updates/hotfixes simultaneously to keep everything in sync, meaning PC would have to lose out on earlier and more frequent patches. Depending on who you ask that might either be seen as a benefit or a negative.

Going back to the trade economy for a moment, would we also end up in funky situations where new primes launch on PC before consoles, but relics or even prime parts were still fully tradeable? What happens when PS4 or Xbox One players somehow start to build a Nidus Prime despite not being on the same build, or begin selling them on those platforms before others can get a chance of farm for them themselves?

    Platform Holders

This is kind of a mix between the last two sections, but it probably deserves a bit of emphasis. Things are much better than say a year or two ago, when cross play would've been out of the question, let alone cross save, so it's great that we can even discuss it as a serious potential feature. But there're a few hoops that I imagine DE have to jump through on a policy level. Would exclusive platform skins have to be disabled when transfering saves? How fine would they be with plat purchased from other platforms? Would the cert processes be changed to allow for more frequent updates?

With all that said and done, what can be done to make cross save work? I’ve pondered a few solutions.

    • Keep platinum platform specific: the simplest way I can see to not upset each platforms economy is by, well, not having the different economies mix. For example, if I had 500 platinum on Xbox One and transferred my save to the PC for the first time, I’d be starting out with 0 plat. And any further plat purchased on the PC would remain there. Now the potential for plat manipulation and abuse is entirely prevented. Which leads me to my next suggestion.
    • Also keep tradeable items locked to the platform they were previously earned from: I can see this being a more controversial change, but bare with me for a moment. Just to be clear, this isn’t saying that if you use cross save your prime parts, mods, rivens and arcanes become disabled. Anything you have in your inventory would be 100% usable by you, so you could still buy a Baza BP on PC and unlock its parts from relics on Switch and not be locked out of crafting her. However, if you earned those relics on Switch they would be flagged and become untradeable on everything else but the Switch. This is another way of keeping the economies and differing builds of the game from overlapping in unpredictable ways. Now, DE would have to really, really step up their programming game and do some work under the hood to keep everyone’s inventory working across PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch, and make it abundantly clear what items/mods were earned on what platform (Having the option to sort/tab through your tradeable inventory based on platform would be an absolutely bare minimum feature).
    • Allow everyone to see platform exclusive cosmetics: While I think these should still remain unpurchasable from other stores, it would suck if you couldn’t at least show off your platform skins and syandanas without having to worry if their appearance will be turned to the default skin to other players. If nothing else it’d be a boost to each platform holders profits, because now you might see a player on PC with a cool PS4 exclusive syandana, think “Hey I want that dope syandana”, and go purchase it from the PS Store, so I can’t see any reason that a deal couldn’t be worked out to allow it outside of some “preserving brand integrity” bull from Sony, MS or Nintendo.
    • Have periods where cross save is disabled and only allowed between equal builds: This is the next best solution I could think of barring each platform holder magically doing away with cert processes or without potentially hampering the PC’s release schedule, but it does come with its own potential hang ups. When all builds are synced up you can move your save freely, but if you’re on console and the PC gets a new patch or content release your save will be restricted. Think of it like a ferry. But so you’re not completely out of luck, if you log into Warframe on an older build a notice informing you of that could pop up and warn you that any progress will not be synced up with other platforms until those builds are the same.

So, there you have it. Sorry for the long ramble. Even though it seems like I’ve given more reasons for why cross save wouldn’t likely be happening, and my suggestions for how it could be implemented might either be excessive or fundamentally bad, I honestly do hope they find a way to implement cross save that pleases mostly everyone. I’ve been playing Warframe on PS4 for a year now and have been wanting to switch over once I eventually upgrade my PC to be able to get more of my friends to play. Hopefully DE can make it a reality some day.

  22. Always up for this suggestion. Having a room like the small/large gardens but having it contain prebuilt enclosures around the walls or on preset paths that you can fill by donating conservation tags would be a cool addition, and would probably be less taxing on performance than if they were placeable props. I could definitely see something like the Mosaic Garden but with small habitats and aquariums. At the very least I'd be down for a single Virmink enclosure that you can build and place in any room, like the one in the Enrichment Labs. Would bring more life to the dojos.
