    Shawzin chat bug

Thank you for the report. We're aware of this issue and hope to fix in next update.
  2. This has been addressed and will be coming in a future hotfix 🙂
  3. Just to append some brief research: I tried Volt with Blind Rage, giving 199% power strength, i.e., Speed buff is a hair less than 2x bonus. Going out to POE, I picked a fence post and a tree which were 10 seconds apart while sprinting. Then I turned on my 2x Speed and made the distance back in 5 seconds. So it seems to be working as advertised. No changes to Volt's Speed were intended. If you are seeing that there's an issue where you're not getting the speed that the game says you should, please put together a video or describe a practical demonstration showing the bug (post in Bugs subforum) and we'll definitely take a deeper look
  4. It should no longer be possible to open the Leverian by using chat linked page. Please post again if you these issues come up in some other way
  5. This should now be fixed. If you have any further crashing while using Decorate mode, please be sure to describe exactly what you were doing step by step to help us figure out any remaining unusual cases.
  6. Hilarious 🙂 Got it, thank you.
  7. Buying a deco is not required, just opening decorate mode and trying to place anything will probably cause you to crash. Code-ninjas are currently fighting this bug, it absolutely tip-top of our list, please hang in there
  8. This is completely not intended to happen. Sorry for that, totally our fault. Please contact Support department from support.warframe.com if you bought a "Sentinel Riven" from Simaris shortly after launch but then it unveiled into a regular warframe weapon (and you aren't happy with what you got, I guess)
  9. Thank you, we are currently investigating this problem where you can crash if you use decoration mode. Expect a speedy hotfix! What is life with decorate mode!
  10. A small PSA so that you're all aware of where we are at regarding Roller Floofs. Many Tenno have been sad that they cannot donate Roller Floofs to their clan dojo, and have reporting it as a bug. This inability to donate was actually a deliberate choice on DE's part. The reason is that when the Floofs are placed in the dojo, the physics of the object do not work correctly for all players present. Each person sees the Floof moving and interacting in a different way, so you could never (for example) kick it back and forth with another player. There is also significant concerns about performance if players added dozens (hundreds) of fully interactive objects to a multi-user space. It was decided to not let this happen when we knew ahead of time that it was going to be problematic. This is a feature that we're interested in, and everybody else is interested in, but Dojo Football and Cooperative Ball Pits will have to wait for future programming support. (There is sadly no ETA for when this will happen.)
  11. Going to need more details: Were you doing anything to the Ropalolyst when it breaks? What frame and what abilities are you using? When you say "invulnerable", do you mean you can't shoot it with your guns, or do you mean you hit it with the laser console and nothing happened, or....? A video showing the whole boss fight is the most reliable way to report this kind of bug, if you are able to record from your game.
  12. A micro optimization is where the game code has been rewritten to make it faster. Sometimes assigning values or calling functions or doing some math operation might take fewer instructions a certain way and more instructions another way. Optimizations are where the code has been rearranged to be more efficient but "do" the same thing, and should have no effect whatsoever on the game except to make it run faster. A tweak, on the other hand, is a tweak.
  13. Not a bug. You start at rank 0 with 0 points. Then you earned 9K+1K points, and increased to rank 1 with 0 points left over.
  14. A "micro optimization" means that the code was rewritten to perform better. It should not affect the ability in any way except to make the game run ever so slightly better than it used to.
  15. Thank you for clarifying. We didn't explain very well what actually changed, so here's your confirmation: The Ivara fix was specifically aimed at cryopod defense missions on Shipyards defense (Ceres:Casta), and Galleon defense (Saturn:Helene and Sedna:Hydron). On most defense missions involving a cryopod, using a cloaking arrow did not affect the pod nor was it supposed to. These specific missions allowed the cloaking arrow to be effective, and led to a silly situation where enemies would run up and stand directly beside the pod but be unable to attack it. This fix was not intended to change the effectiveness of cloaking arrow in other situations beyond the named missions, and if players see collateral damage to the behavior of enemies in other game modes, please consider it unintended and report it as as bug.
  16. This seems to be working? Mods use the same symbology as the mod workbench, and items say "X owned" in the upper left corner under the item name. If there's an example of specific items that doesn't show this, please share 🙂
  17. Arch gun rivens from arby shop is good. Not too painful for people that want such a thing, and not cluttering up the loot tables of people who would rather get a basket of live spiders than an arch gun riven.
  18. So. Your card is running in power economy mode even when Warframe is running? It's hitting 100% utilization of card in econ mode, but not ramping up its clocks to full speed to go faster? That seems like a driver problem on Nvidia's end tbh 😞
  19. See: "Shooting themself in the foot". Interesting that they list DirectX 11 as a requirement, not 12 though. Look at your system utilization for CPU. If you have CPU cores running at 100% usage and the CPU is running at its max frequency, then you're CPU-bound and no amount of video hardware will make the game faster. The video card can only render frames after the game's logic has done all the computation for physics, AI, ability scripts, networking, etc. Warframe is more hungry for CPU strength than GPU, on most people's computers. If it's only specific tiles and happens when you look at specific things, it might be worth noting in the Bugs forum because there may be an issue with a poorly optimized effect.
  20. Windows XP is dead because it commands less than 1% of the marketplace. Windows 7 is not even remotely dead because it commands 40% of the marketplace. You're basically shooting yourself in the foot at this point in time, if you are a game studio and you're thinking about dropping Windows 7 support.
  21. Win 10 adoption is higher among gamers than among the general public since you must have Win 10 to support DX12 or most newer CPUs.
  22. As others have mentioned, Glen is talking about DE's official support for Windows XP in warframe, not Microsoft's support of the operating system. Windows 7 is "retiring" soon according to Microsoft, but game companies will most likely not stop support for it any time soon given that a LOT of people are still using it. Not supporting Windows 7 is basically cutting yourself off from 1/2 to 1/4 of your potential customers (depends on the region and kind of game), while Windows XP has only a couple of percent of people that are still using it.
  23. https://www.warframe.com/news/minimum-supported-specs-changes 32 bit is on the way out "soon". The game should run better on 64 bit and modern DirectX, btw, there are more optimizations that are possible. If you are "eventually crashing" and get the error reporter, please make sure to submit your crash and describe what you were doing when you crashed. It really does help!
  24. The best bug is that there's no bug anymore 🙂 Happy remodeling o/
  25. I see the option in my clan...Is it a specific hall that has this problem? Which clan hall are you trying this on?
