  1. A different status type on Hydroids new barrage ability would have been more interesting imo. Corrosive on every ability seems kind of redundant, don't get me wrong 100 strip is very nice. Cold would have been a nice status for his first (or puddle if it wasn't gone), a nice slowing CC and now cold can give a decent crit damage buff. Maybe call it Leviathans Typhoon or something else besides Barrage. The plus viral augment seems nice but most of my weapons are already modded for viral because how strong it makes slash. I guess it will be nice for alternative CO builds.
  2. A press for surge / hold for puddle would be a great change to his new kit. Puddle has some pretty fun uses and was a great cc/finisher setup, if not using to afk and/or travel distance. Now that the status cleanse from surge doesn't require the augment, maybe we can get an augment for surge that adds puddle at least. Press and hold to go in and out of puddle, jump or bullet jump would be an interesting exit also. Edit/ There is a lot of debate around the forum as of now whether puddle is good or bad. Having puddle as a surge augment will let you choose whether or not to have puddle in your build. Not having the augment clears a mod slot and puddle augment could increase surge and or swarm efficiency while in puddle and or just keep the ally negative status removal. There are many more options that can be discussed. Puddle just needs a few tweaks, like being deactivated by nullifiers preventing afk, and collecting loot instead of blocking your view. What I find ironic is puddle is getting deleted. Ground finishers are getting buffed (true damage). Puddle is a quick and easy ground finish setup that the new kit will not be able to synergize with.
  3. As someone who enjoys cc, it would be cool if the passive spawned 1 tentacle per combo count. That being said, Pablo, please delete the 1st ability.
  4. I am hoping his passive is changes and 1st ability gets scrapped, it's a useless helminth anyways so maybe something everyone can enjoy, even if not playing hydroid. There's much better ways to stack corrosive these days without sacrificing mod slots.
  5. Name: Hydroids Haven Tier: Shadow Console: Nintendo Switch Role: Warlord Hydroids Haven is a place to go and trade/explore after a long time off in the star chart. Come visit the S.S. Nami Skyla trade ship, or head down the caverns beneath Hydroids throne room, solve the riddle and find the Krakens Treasure. Another spot to stop and check out is the new Cove room, a pirate haven that has been found by a terrifying sea monster. Hop up on the cliffs and load the cannons. Temple of Honor: a special room paying tribute to all current members. The dojo is pretty big but if you get lost, just travel to navigation and there is a fast travel right outside the door. S.S. Nami Skyla Throne Room Riddle that leads to treasure Zen Floating City
  6. Back to maining the Boar like I was 5 years ago, also Nami Solo is the chefs kiss.
  7. I personally feel the 1st ability is underwhelming and an easy choice to helminth out. The rest of Hydroids kit synergizes well with grouping enemies and armor strip, whis is what should be in place here. Maybe some sort of dredge net, similar to harrows condemn/khoras ensnare. If dredge net was a new ability, the extra loot source would be a cool synergy here. The secondary tidal surge is a fast paced way to travel and good for certain game modes like capture and disruption. The downside is it does not keep the enemies hit by it contained. If that is not changed to group them up better then enemies hit could give back shields/over shield, or their armor could be stripped a certain percent. This ability is fun imo, some tilesets are tougher to navigate through than others. Also you get stuck at the top of certain staircases and similar objects. Aim gliding is very fun with the ability to jump across large area, add some aim glide mods and try it out. Higher duration for more speed. The third ability is usually regarded as his worst. This I don't disagree, but there are good synergy's and good crowd control if used right. Pop in and out real quick to set up easy ground finishers. Also it's a nice hiding spot when enemies get overwhelming. I like that eximus units don't effect the ability survivability when you are in the puddle. The 4th ability is great area cc/choke point cc. Unfortunately enemies don't get killed in higher level missions and also ragdolled and harder to kill (weapon/amp synergies can help here). Slash damage procs would be nice here to replace magnetic. Nekros+Hydroid can be bros again. A nice passive for this ability would be Hydroid and allies within kraken tentacle range have increased weapon crit chance. I love Hydroid but I can see why he is very underwhelming in today's gameplay. Some minor buffs could get him in a better place.
  8. An augment that would sacrifice the extra lives and buff some other stats could be interesting. I don't use wukong too much anymore, he is nice to quickly solo sortie spy I will say.
  9. Hydroid: self and allies in tentacle swarm radius are granted additional 150 crit chance was (before mods)
  10. How about some sort of invasion/event reward that gives a couple hours of foundry build time reduction, I'm thinking a 2 or 3 hour booster that lets you build a forma every 15 minutes. Not sure what times would be best, just had a thought.
  11. I use link shields on my smeeta and condemn on my frame if I'm trying to go for SP survival, they still die but not as often.

  13. Just a thought, what do you think about a voting system inside the [look] links in region chat? Maybe other players can select 1-10 and the OP can get an average vote when they check the link. Could apply to [mod config] as well.
