  1. I know you're talking about Banshee, but when you leave out the important bits, it's easy to make sound good. But how about those damage buffs not working on actual important enemies, the total lack of in-built survivability, and multiple dead abilities? If you like her great, but she's in need of help. I forgot about Oberon! He also badly needs love. Much like Trinity, he's just an old healer.
  2. So, who do YOU think will be the next frame to get some treatment? While I'd say all frames *can* work in today's Warframe, it's also clear not every frame is in a great place. Be it outdated kits, a plethora of bad abilities, or just missed the mark, there are a few frames I'd say could use a work up. I know this is a pretty common topic, but with inaros done, I'm curious as to who you all think needs it. For me, there are 3 that stand out more than others. Banshee, Caliban, and Trinity. There's others I think could use help, but these are the ones I think need the most work. Banshee basically only has 3 abilities and really only silence is dependable. She's also the most vulnerable frame in the game. She's my pick for most in need. Caliban doesn't do anything that other frames can do a lot better. His 1 is a meme, his 3 makes atlas' rocks seem good, and his 4 and 2 are done better by multiple other frames. He was DoA and DE did nothing to help him Trinity is mostly just showing her age. She's grandma support and she's not bad at all however she doesn't have a lot to do either. Healing has been less and less useful as time goes on, and energy is pretty free these days. Merging well and vampire, tweaking link and blessing, and giving her a new tool might be the sort of makeover grandma needs. What are your thoughts?
  3. Every school has some excellent tools/way-bounds, so there's no real wrong answer. Last Gasp is insanely useful, and in most situations makes you unkillable, so it's a good goal to shoot for Naramon's power spike is also top tier for melee, madurai has void strike for angels and eidolons, vazarin is chock full of supporty goodness. I think if you get a few Lua lenses from bird 3, play some zariman and circuit, you might find yourself capping daily focus, and then unlocking the rest will come quicker. SP circuit especially is a really easy way to build focus with no lenses at all. Best part is that focus is an almost totally passive farm if you want it to be.
  4. Elite/Deep Archimedia's random loadouts have been pretty controversial to say the least. There are those of you who love it, discovering new toys and ways to play. Then the other camp, wanting to put the best to the best, truly seeing what they can bring being challenged rather than punished with fewer rewards. I have been mostly enjoying E/DA. I have everything and about half of all weapons with full forma builds, most Warframes with builds, ect. This game mode couldn't cater more to me and other players like me however I'm no fan of random loadouts. I had my fill with Duviri, and aren't a fan of it in E/DA What can we propose to appease both camps? Let's be clear, We're unlikely to get any kind of fundamental changes to E/DA. The random loadout is fundamental to the rewards. While personally I'd rather have 4 more personal modifiers, it's clear the intention is to have those limited options. How about just mitigating our RNG a bit and give us more options? 5 options would help a lot, even though I feel like 6 would be more appropriate given how many options there are. This keeps the random loadout enjoyers happy while lowering the RNG a bit for everyone. It's also minimal dev time for this change, and I think goes a long way to smoother runs. Two other small suggestions, but also sticking points; Can we get unowned gear removed from the randomizer? That seems rather unfair. Also, can we lower unlocking Elite by 1 point? No flex room means it's quite likely full 27 point DA is harder than 34 point EDA which just seems wrong, and can make unlocking EDA quite difficult. Are these perfect solutions? No. But it's a fair compromise.
  5. Can confirm, her 2 is super sensitive to any bit of geometry, like small rocks in Lua tilesets, low pipes in grineer galleon, railings of all types, and anything pretty much knee high. This has been a thing since her launch. You don't just need line of sight, you need fully clear pathing. Similar to how void sling was on its launch and how you'd get caught on things. That's what I imagine the check is doing when it fails. Her 4 is largely fine but doesn't much like certain stairs (the center of the undercroft town is a good example) where you won't leap. Sometimes mid air activations fail but that could just be me failing the timing too.
  6. Unairu is by far the school most able to deal with high levels. The armor strip/ shield stip let's pretty much any amp kill high levels. Give it a try sometime. Amps are largely fine, although it'd be nice to get some new arcanes to help facilitate deleting overguard, It would also be great if we could get the arcanes that change your amp damage from void into puncture/ heat, to be amp arcanes rather than operator arcanes (and maybe a few more damage types)
  7. I noticed this yesterday. Between the large tiles I'm unfamiliar with and 6-7 icons on screen, there were moments I was lost in the noise. I wouldn't mind a recolour of the white key, or at least a very different icon. I'm a huge fan of all the improvement to disruption, and would love for this minor issue dealt with.
  8. On launch, the incarnon mode was bad, but it seems totally fine now. It's already arguably the best weapon in the game. And I for the record LOVE the shell by shell reload.
  9. I see nothing wrong with this even if I vastly prefer my prime variants. I'm almost always in favor of more fashion especially when it doesn't require new animations or significant dev tome
  10. This right here. Revenant isn't an issue. It just seems that OP wants to be armchair developer here, and quite frankly has a very different idea of what Warframe *should* be in their eyes than DE. Are these so called loser Revenant players not shooting? Any half decent gun can do just as much work as a frame. And if rev is a problem, why aren't other gun platform frames being called out the same way? Pretty clear OP doesn't want to carry anyone but that's not the game we're playing Who cares if they're low MR? What's the expectation there? That they're stuck on the super easy starchart they've clearly already done? So long as they can hack it, what's it to you? I'm sorry the game isn't catering to your every whim.
  11. I'm with you on this. Super great to see them back, and as a bonus, I can load up on infested drones now! We need the Waverider supporter pack on the store though. Merulina drone and Tenet ambassador skin, c'mon!
  12. I forgot that was a supporter pack. For your sake, I hope it's put up soon. Definitely one of the coolest drones. I don't get why it wasn't included with the rest. I really want to like it more, but you nailed it. They did the ambassador dirty, and both stahlta and aeolak preform far better. Skin is cool but I'd just rather have a real Tenet than a "We have Tenet at home" brand.
  13. I don't get the hate here. I bought most of these packs, and I'm glad I did. I'm also happy to see them return as there's some cool stuff in them. It's not like them re-releasing the packs is taking anything from those who bought them. I was going to post a thread about the infested drone, but this happened so no need. Seriously, How is this even a problem for anyone? Most of these were pretty popular so it's not like its all that exclusive to begin with. I swear, people will complain about even the most positive things.
  14. Some seriously great ideas here. I don't play her enough these days, so I'm not going to say what she does/doesn't need, but I'd love to be incentivized to actually use both halves. As is, I feel stuck in one form or the other. I think modding both halves seperatly would help tons, but I also don't think it's enough. I don't want to be punished for engaging with her core mechanic.
  15. While you're not wrong in thinking you can get by with panzer or nourish, and you kind of can, is that it's not 100% reliable. Panzer picks it's own targets, and nourish can fall off or you run out of energy. While slash is ok without viral, you will notice it's absence. Precious few weapons come with innate viral (phage and kompressa come to mind). When you do get the option though, and with the new rad mods, a viral corrosive rad setup is ideal on primaries. And let's not kid ourselves, we're only really talking primaries, as secondaries lack Hunter Munitions. Yes, we have hemorrhage. How many secondaries can use it? It's why viral heat is the go-to for them. Not quite as strong, but generally gets the job done. Is viral too centralizing? Probably, but what are we to do? Even at a lower total cap, the way it interacts with slash (and slash procs doing true damage) means we'd still use it. Short of a rework, I don't see much pushing me to use much else (besides Deimos and the odd boss fight)
  16. I use amber shards for energy actually, I use nourish so I can free up mod space on dex pixia. Btw: 5 amber shards is basically pre- nerf cracked out energize. Spellbound harvest is great, on other frames. Not so much for titania I'm putting this all here so other titania players are inspired to toy around
  17. Seeing as I'd be giving up nourish or beguiling lanturn for it, probably precision, but I'll have to test out a bit
  18. My issue is twofold: 1. This is a serious missed opportunity for actually challenging content. In-mission optional challenges or skill based thresholds could have been used here. It's a shame that we have so few optional challenges in missions (that one tutorial mission and dragon vaults come to mind) 2. It feels more like a penalty than a bonus. Arbitrations and Archon hunts use this same random element but it's a bonus. Here I am being "penalized" for not going with random equipment. They are not equivalent. It's also a very real possibility that it only pulls from gear you own, in which I'm being penalized for having all the gear in the game (if I only had the best gear, that's all it would roll), or it'll prevent players who don't have everything from doing it in the first place (because of unlucky rolling of gear they don't have). If it's a mix of both again having everything is detrimental. Don't get me wrong. I'm still very much looking forward to this game mode, but this "optional" challenge aspect is poorly thought out and is a bit of a let down. I don't even care about the arcanes, I just want a fun challenge.
  19. Not too many frames escape the chair. These are the frames I play base kit though. Octavia Yareli Kullervo Voruna (with augment) Citrine Nidus Dagoth and Quorvex I haven't played around with enough to really evaluate. Everyone else gets *something* from the chair. Even Protea gets airburst, or infested mobility. I never thought to use EM for Titania, I use arcane pistoleer for the same purpose but it can be fiddly with infested and murmur so I'm going to have to give it a shot.
  20. I love finding off-meta gear to use. I'm always trying new builds. My only real limitation is how much forma I have. Warframe wise, Zephyr is easily one of my favorites. Gyre, before she was cool, Yareli, because I'm a masochist, and of course Titania is my most played for a reason (and not just in fissures) Vaykor Hek is a big favorite of mine, but I love just about every shotgun (except the Rauta, hate that one). Is Truman meta? Love that one too. Kompressa is hands down my favorite secondary. It's just funny to kill with the bubble gun. Ceti-lacera and Volnus Prime are some of my most used melees, but give me any hammer and I'm happy. Arca titron is probably going to be used more with upcoming slam damage scaling. Tenet Exec too. Oh and Sampotes is the only Drifter weapon I use.
  21. Catabolyst and Quatz just wouldn't be the same without it. And who doesn't love shell by shell reloading? Felarx and Strun just feel right. The animation team just nails it time and time again. Some of my favorites like Tenet Spirex or Truman add so much delicious flavor.
  22. Agreed. I just didn't want to list every under preforming frame. I'm more drawing comparisons and want to focus on Loki here. I'd say she's in more need of dev love than Loki though.
  23. Sure. Like just about anything would be better. I just slap on fire walker or hideous resistance for status immunity over it. For me it's a tie between him and Caliban for the worst 1 in the game. It's not hard to improve it. Just letting us shoot while it's up would be massive. Elemental ward and vex are mostly fine. Usability issues for vex sure, but mostly fine. His 4 is also hot garbage, but at least it's got a teeny tiny sliver of a niche.
  24. I just wish k-drives in general felt better to use, especially on consoles. They've done a lot to make Yareli not just useable, but actually good. Like Titania and Zephyr before her, with enough iteration we can get the movement feeling better (incidentally those two are my favorite frames). Like skooma said, it just seems like a signal that they're done trying to fix up her few remaining issues, and that's a tad disappointing for such a cool frame.
  25. I'd be willing to bet we'll eventually see them. Most of the frames to be primed going forward only have one signature weapon, so there's lots of room. Personally I want to see all the sentinels get primes, Including and especially Taxon. I've always liked tennos first companion.
