Btw if you got kicked and want to join my dead clan to test it out you can ( btw its a dead clan because i'm the only active member i use it to help new tenno and when they can fly they find a more active clan )

Thanks for the offer/concern, but I'm helping manage two clans so I'll have to decline.

I believe crafting is in a sort of Buffer, if you get kicket out of your Clan wile producing a Railjack, the part you were currently building will continue building but you will only be able to continue once you join a new clan as you need to visit the Dry Docks to progress.

A warlord was experimenting with his alt account and told me about it. I haven't tested it myself, but you're free to try it out yourself. I'll edit the information here if it turns out to be false. I'm still short on materials to start building my railjack.

  3. After giving it some thought, I do agree that just increasing the ranks would have very little significance. What if with every rank, the lich's behavior drastically changes and their abilities undergo a "mutation" of sorts. I believe that would make the fight much more interesting. It would also be great if there were more incentives for dealing with liches, but I wouldn't hold my breath hoping DE adds some in.

  4. The Kuva Liches seem to be at the right difficulty but perhaps they should have their maxed rank increased to 10 soon. At this point they don’t seem “challenging.” Some players are swimming through them very quickly. This one is already on his ninth.unknown.png

  5. The Kuva Liches are a really fun way to keep the players engaged, but it's a bit disappointing that they seem to be soft capped at rank 5. A few upgrades and that's it. There's no real threat in an enemy that stagnates so early on. I don't believe 5 is going to be the max forever, but that makes me wonder what the max would be if it was raised. I'm assuming that Rank 6 and above will involve the Empyrean update with railjack and squad-link.

  6. With the advent of the long awaited Kuva Liches, the hype I was feeling is starting to die down and I can't help but think, is there more? I wonder if Kuva Liches are supposed to play some kind of important role in the future when you convert them on your side and that the more you have on your side the better. After all, right now they are just a temporary specter that spawns in and spawns out without doing anything. Getting the weapons from them seem to be the most logical and only choice, while the converting option is just for when you have a superior variant of the weapon already.

I think it will act like Arlo's Devoted, When you get downed they miraculously appear, revive you, then fight along side you with their abilities/weapon.

No I don't think they'd allow you to change his abilities. You'd have to kill a kuva spiked grineer with your frame of choice and hope for the best

There could actually be a lot of depth here if you want to customize your lich for when it becomes an ally. Whether or not that's worth doing in the future, we'll have to wait and see.

Hope this system is implemented well. Could these liches be the greatest enemy/ally we will ever have?

At the moment they pick up abilites from a related group of warframes so no it isn't possible to teach them. So if you were to kill a lich with Grendel like the one in the image it might pick up iron skin from rhino because grendel and rhino are both "tank" frames. I also think the Liches rank up when the kill you thus getting stronger.

I hope that's not the case or it would be very disappointing. There are players that can essentially one shot any enemy that's not above level 300, and even this might not offer that much of a challenge for some people.

I kinda like the idea with the clan alerts! And I just had an Idea! How about we get two pigeons with one stone and reduce some vet stockpiles.

    My Idea is as follows:

High ranking clan members can create alerts for the rest of the clan, they set a node, maybe get the option for nightmare modifiers, set a resource/endo/credit reward (with a maximum around the values we had in old alerts) and a max amount of times the alert can be completed.

Now, the great thing is, those rewards come from the creator of the alert.

Say, my clan is hurting for oxium, I have almost 20.000 stockpiled, so I create an Alert, say 10min survival lvl 30 with vampire mode, reward is 300 Oxium and the alert can be done by 5 squads.

Now if 5 full squads in my clan do the alert, 20 people will get 300 Oxium each and I lose 6000 Oxium.

No resource is created from nothing, newer clanmembers will be happy, I'm happy and DE is happy about playermade content.

We all lift together after all.

This is very interesting, though vets could dump also dump their resources into the clan vault. I think these node alerts should be restricted to the planet the clan decides to invade, keeping with the theme. How about adding boosters to the alert nodes? That would further incentivize clannies to participate.

  10. A good portion of this comes from another thread with crashapple12 coming up with many of the ideas. First we have the Clan Alert system. I heard DE once had plans to implement a system like this but nothing about whether they're continuing those plans so here it is.

    -Alerts-

-High ranking members of the clan can mark down an endless mission alert on any planet-Clan members can run these alerts for heightened resources drop chances and quantity-A % of resources earned is added automatically to the clan vault

    - This is extra resources, not a tax.

-The number of active alerts would be scaled with clan tier. Example: 1 alert for shadow clans 10 for moon clans

    -Invasions-

-Once per month or bimonthly, the high ranking members can select a planet to be invaded functioning much like a corpus/grineer/infested invasions

-The invasion would last 1 week. During a clan invasion specters, carrying the clan emblems will join the missions to aid the tenno. Clan specters would use either random clan-tech weapons or weapons popular within the clan members.

-Completing invasions gives both the squad and clan vault a payout in planet resources

-Finishing the invasion completely allows for the clan specters for the month and allows the deployment of a clan extractor also rewarding the player with a clan emblem and sigil for free lost upon leaving the clan while the clan extractor is active people can run a challenging endless mode *which decided with extractor deployment once the month concludes a payout is given to all participating clan members

    -Extra notes-

-It is not a fight between clans, it's not a competition between players unless they want to hit the clan leaderboards. It is exclusively a clan activity with no interaction with other clans outside of personal recruitment

-The goal here is to allow more interaction within the clans themselves, matchmaking being exclusive to those within the clan or those invited to squads, hopefully matching players with other clan members without the direct use of clan chat.

-Hopefully overall making players less likely to just join a clan solely to access clan tech, but to join the clan community itself.

This next portion addresses the cost of clan stuffs.

The high prices for Moon clans to do anything in the dojo is a bit ridiculous. The same piece of decoration costs 100 times as much as it would for Ghost clans, which hinder creativity and experimentation. People also have to have permissions to donate to the clan vault and there are surprisingly many who didn't know they could do so. I suggest we reduce all costs of non-clan tech stuff of all tiers to the base Ghost clan costs. Lab research prices will stay as they are. Also, someone I know made an insane suggestion that I in no way agree with: with the Dry Docks and Railjack coming out, their research price should be insanely high and universal across all clan tiers. He believes this will motivate lower-tier clans to build up. Whether this is effective or not, I leave you to decide.

If you saw something similar to this thread on Reddit, relax we are from the same clan. The redditor just wanted to make these suggestions more well-known.

  11. The high prices for Moon clans to do anything in the dojo is a bit ridiculous. The same piece of decoration costs 100 times as much as it would for Ghost clans, which hinder creativity and experimentation. While Moon clans can theoretically collect more resources due to their higher population, that is not always the case; the clan I am a part of have many active members that contribute their resources but also contains those that don't. We are a relatively lax clan that doesn't require donations from our members (inactive members will still be removed), and there are other clans that operate the same way we do. The current system is detrimental to clans such as ours. There is also a problem with players not knowing how to add resources to the vault; I can't believe some players need to be told how.

Also, Clan Alerts. Clans could select a node and begin an "invasion" of sorts. Only the upper echelon would be able to do this. Once the node is secured, the invasion spreads out to more nodes until the planet is completely taken. They can select the base level of enemies on that node and have the resources earned scale according to that level. Once every node is taken, an extractor is deployed that lasts for a week. It will give rewards to everyone who participated and a large amount of resources from the planet go into the vault once it expires. If the first section of this post doesn't get implemented, this could also be a viable change. This last part came was an idea local Warframe vet crashapple had through thorough deliberation.

Phantasy star online 2 is old game and it's going to end it's life time soon so a third game would arise. At the moment I could not really say competition because every looter game which compete each other is a must be in their own category. For example Diablo is a famous game but Torchlight, Umbra, Path of Exile, Titan Quest, Van Helsing and so on is a competition to each others. There are a lot more these are just what come in my mind first but each game has their little extras which makes them legit. In the Moba genre there is the LoL and Dota2 than the rest. There is still a Strife, Prime World, Battle of Graxia, Heroes of Newerth, and so on which died out by the time because in this genre the first two title superior.

PSO2 is only a year older than Warframe. It can still be a viable competitor to Warframe. The fact that it has survived for this long and will be coming to the west in Spring 2020 with crossplay across all platforms just proves it. Heck, even Warframe doesn’t have crossplay yet.

Not nearly "all of its content". You still will have to pay for most recent expansions and those they will release later. And since vanilla destiny worths sht, it being free says little.

And while I somewhat like to play d2 like once in a week or month, I see no reason to start going deep into it in september, those developers proved being scummy greedy aholes that literally just copy pasted 80% of d1 into d2 while making you pay x2 times for an old conten plus they focus on pvp and so called non matc made end game too much, thast hwy it will never be popular among warframe players. Shooting in destiny is superb, but not much else. And shooting isnt that interesting on itself.

Also Im pretty sure they will abandon ds2 in favour of ds3 soon anyway. Starting to really play ds2 now is not that much better than playing anthem.

This would be a fair point if I had been talking about Destiny.

What is the sustainable content in PSO I wonder?

Emergency Quests and the actual story itself with all the different EQs it brings with it and the progression system with the classes, skills, and rare gear items, as well as leveling up through these quests. Since it's coming to the west with all its content throughout these 8 years it will have a lot.

PSO2 looks too outdated. The graphics are so bad and the gameplay is clunky.

Idk how any sane person thinks it could compete with Warframe that constantly upgrades it's graphics and gameplay.

PSO2 looks like some average mmo at best. I played it for a week before dropping and forgetting for years.

That may be true but in terms of content and story along with the gameplay mechanics and the scope of the concept that the game offers, it rivals (if not surpasses) Warframe in that aspect, you'll really have to try it to believe it. Not only do they fill in many things that Warframe lacks, they also have the most important thing: Sustainable content.

  16. Despite PSO2 being a year older than Warframe, it also has a very long and interesting story with a lot of great boss battles from those emergency quests as well as music. A bit of some spoilers but this was the ending scene to the first episode of PSO2. There is a total of 6 episodes now and 12 different classes that you can mix and match and switch any time you are not in a mission.

You might recognize the Youtuber's name. Bit of an oddball. Apparently he did episodes 4-6 before going back to do episode 1 so he's really overleveled here.

Here's an example of one of the emergency quests that can have up to 16 people fighting one boss:

A crossover between Warframe and PSO2 would be incredible.

Pso2 is an old and boring mmo that came out long time ago. How can it be a competitor.

Destiny 2 is garbage that everyone leaves. That's why they switch to f2p.

But this will not help at all. Game will still be as bad.
