  1. Bump. Another problem that's never been sorted. Losing Radiant relics for this is rather tedious (much like bumping old threads). That is 100 traces, I think solo it takes me about 8-12 minutes to gather 6-15 or so while farming and exploring rooms (sometimes slightly more if your RNG feels like it).

The more I feel the game wastes my time the more I want to give it up really. Does that make sense?

  2. If anyone is still looking for a use for their Tombfinger Tremor combo, I find it's rather good for tiddlywinking certain enemies off the map or bouncing off the ceiling when you use the quick shot near their feet.

Although, lets see how long that fun lasts.

Edit: also, hope everyone's doing well during this miserable, depressing time globally. It's pretty cold here for June... rainy too. Germs everywhere, might listen to this

  3. At the end of the day, it seems to me DE doesn't really give two hoots about their players time (or money) when it comes to things like this. Although, during dev streams I've numerously heard them say how much they pay attention to such things (which then, must be just hyperbole). I went out and farmed the components, did the fishing and mining, invested Forma and Catalysts in the parts it wasn't all just sitting in the foundry backed up by loads of platinum to skip build times and perfect RNG for the drops. Perhaps you're coming at it differently (presumably as a Switch player?), I'm only MR15 but I'm not at the stage where I'm thinking "Ho hum, don't care about the couple of days it took running around to make the build".

DE obviously don't take their own players into the game to see if the weapons and components they put out there are going to upset this super delicate balance they expect to maintain (with a no held 0.8 to 1.4 charge time no less... the entire game is now clearly broken). It feels actually rather more petty to me than any post enquiring about resource refunds. Threads like this, that I suspect are created in expressing disillusionment with how they repeatedly handle things more than an expectation of any refunds, will keep appearing until they start to pay attention I imagine.

I find the mechanic clunky.  I'd much rather bullet jump and airburst.

Yeah, ok, Corinth is still with us.  I usually replace the original with the prime version, but not this time.

This is it for me, it's like the Opticors, I play slightly differently with each. I still use the standard because bullet jumping directly toward a mob to close the correct distance for the burst is like some sort of surge fist special attack. Landing near the dead and seeing off perhaps the struggling wounded in the head is just a really pleasant thing to do in a game.

I just find I can use the airburst more effectively on the standard while using manoeuvres more. Maybe those who like the prime more play more sure footed?

Also the reload... different weapons really.

  5. I never minded explosive self damage, it's been a part of almost every shooter I've played from HL:DM onwards. I deserved each and every death due to my own incompetence trying to show off (doesn't it make sense for high explosive weapons anyway, hasn't that always been the caveat of using them?). Nothing frustrated me more than using the Staticor and the Sonicor of late though. They're just unusable now 😐. The Sonicor felt especially unfair as it wasn't a high damage meta weapon anyway, just loads of fun to use for running around certain parts of the star chart.

I have to say, did the Staticor have self damage to begin with? I never noticed it. I still find my self able to bullet jump forward and use the Acceltra fine though whereas I'd sometimes get caught off guard with it in the past. Staticor et al could be fun with Zephyr though, not tried it out yet. I haven't tested out the Corinth properly yet, the alt fire used to catch me if I was gliding forward into a mob, but I loved it.

The first weapon I remember killing myself with was with the Kulstar, that was the weapon that actually taught me how to basically 'fly', jump and use wall latching in the game. It was suddenly a weapon that made you aware of your surroundings on tighter maps and how to evade. Feet on ground shooting forward wasn't an option with it most of the time. I enjoyed that learning curve and discovering that Warframe wasn't just Mass Effect or the like.

    Edit: I miss the wince!

    Anyway...

  6. I was refining and opening Radiant Neo I2 relics for Ivara Prime Chassis in Hepit (the rare one at 2%) over several missions and it gave me the Neuroptics (of which I already had). I have several Neo I2s left I can use, but I don't suppose you can confirm this was the case? I only have screen shots of the state of my refinery and the 'Last Mission Results' screen. I'm not sure this proves anything, you would have to look at the session at your end I imagine. There was no reason to take the unrefined relic that contained the Neuroptics I had already acquired. I've only opened one ticket with the forums before (for a missing Dera Vandal I believe which was returned) I have forgotten how to do so. If this is not the correct place could I have directions?

Second guessing myself, I looked to see if this has happened before with others and several similar instances have occurred in the past, the player who had brought it up on an old Reddit thread had recorded their session. I, however, do not record game play to prove such things.

Edit: I know I went in with a several Radiant Neo I2 Relics and the I2s I had left were unrefined, before I began the mission I type in the name of the Relic that being 'Neo I2' that is the Chassis drop. If you could check that was the case at your end a either confirm this one way or the other I would be grateful. As you know, spending time with this process by gathering traces and the RNG involved leaves one slightly disheartened. Just to add, before this I'd activated a 6 Day Drop/Resource Chance Booster (not sure if that applies with opening Relics) and received the Ivara Prime Blueprint and the Neuroptics so I had a crack at farming the rest. Felt like a case of RNG and paranoia 'You're not having it, you just got the other two in quick succession'.

    Regards,

P.s edit: I have to say the ways of Warframe can be strange. Second fissure run I did in Hepit today dropped the Chassis... o_0

Don't take the current backlash to heart (Friday's Dev Stream will be interesting though), it comes from a good place. We love the game still, I won't be dropping it anytime soon.

    Stay safe all.

  7. Can we have the Forma back we invested in the weapons please, DE? To be honest I won't spending any more money on the game and ignoring any further Platinum offers if they keep this type of thing up. It's an absolute waste of time. I've been sticking up for the game when I see certain complaints coming up on places like YouTube if I think it's just bandwaggon moaning. Sod that now, I wish a pleasant  lunch to them.

  8. Went out for several hours and left it. It's measuring in 'Bytes' per second now, not Kilobytes. As I said, no other connection on this PC is having a problem, firewall permissions are set (even removed entirely). I'm getting nothing from the Warframe servers I think.

Edit: Solved, it either didn't like the fact I began downloading Destiny 2 to check the speed, or reset something during the last boot up. Warframe was the only affected connection though. Delete or leave post for others edification.

  9. I assumed that it was an oversight in the update or something at my end. Although, the lighting on different metals in general seems to be affected.

I'd keep on this, I know it's 'Loading Screenframe', but since there have been a few Hofixes since and it's the same it could be left forgotten.

Edit: I notice the Dex Liset skin appearing more and other players using the default. I switched back to the default, which looks more detailed that the Prismablob Liset skin as it is now.
