You should have just asked if they could make a pit stop at the dojo. I hate when people refine and force me to go back when I’m trying to go through and complete missions. Honestly refining should be a host only ability.

Agreed, and increase the forge cap by another 200. I was the host anyway and we were using my ship so I had no idea why he was treating the ship like it was his. 🤷‍♂️

  2. I had the opposite of what OP talked about. It was my ship and the guy was screaming at me because at the end of the mission instead of using the materials to make ammo ((We were at the 200 forge cap on materials))  I refined them. He began screaming about how we had to now go to the dojo and whole bunch of other stuff and I just responded with. "I was going to the dojo anyway, and I'm farming mats for my railjack." He had a mental breakdown...

  3. Avionics capacity is basically the modding capacity for your Railjack.

Want better guns? There is an avionic for that.

Want a stronger Artillery since the current one stopped one shotting crew ships? An avionic has got you covered.

Need more hull and armor? Same thing.

Basically upgrading your reactor is a net boost to your entire railjack with the proper avionics equipped and upgraded.

Also you can upgrade the avionics themselves like you do with mods or upgrade the grid you put them on. Upgrading the grid costs more but can be worth it.

  4. So I had this very interesting conversation today about Cephalons and how they are made. Then the person was like, "Why not take a random Grineer and turn them into a Cephalon?" Then I got the amazing idea for a Vay Hek Cephalon voice. Imagine when the ship gets boarded and he screams, "WHY ARE THESE FOOLS BREATHING MY AIR?!?!?!? THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!"

Any other ideas you guys have?

  5. Landing crafts don't have weapons in the traditional sense, but calling them in to provide different buffs would be interesting. Like for instance the following.

Mantis - Helps repair the railjack by putting itself in harms way. Its health scales based on the mission level and once its been too badly damaged it leaves.

Scimitar - Instead of a carpet bomb it can launch a series of torpedos at a squadron of enemy ships. Once it runs out of ordnance it leaves.

Liset - Hacks into the systems of enemy ships around it and leaves them dead in the water.

Xiphos - Can deploy sentry guns to defend a key location like the place you parked a railjack, or the mission bases for when they launch ram sleds when your railjack gets too close.

ah, the nostalgia, riding that ship through the flames and smoke, knowing that the armor is nearly broken again, the left engine is on fire, you're losing altitude, and the pilot is on a collision course with the enemy, and despite all of this, you will not let this ship go down. nothing beats the trill of struggling to keep your ship afloat, in the heat of battle, and even though you've had to rebuild everything a dozen times over, she's still in the air at the end of it. i miss that game. i hope empyrean captures the feel of it.

    Same!

  7. Oh wow I'm not the only one that noticed this. I was so happy to be able to get inside, but when I started comparing things it felt a little.... off. I have to suspend my disbelief cause the technology of the Warframe universe is so advanced it looks like magic. ((And probably is when we get into the void.))

    Nuff said.

Use that mod with streamline and Nyx is basically unkillable and can even fight while its active. The only gripe I have with it is when you turn it off you have to wait for the explosion animation to end and when its on you cannot bullet jump. Now you can enter operator mode while it is active and void dash around the place before going back into your warframe. Gives a use for your operator and its getting Nyx around fast while in her unkillable state.

  9. I remember when I logged in and the first thing I saw was the star map cause we didn't have our own personal spaceships at the time. Still remember my first operation to stop Alad V and his Zanuka project and I still wear the shoulder emblem from it.

To answer your question OP the game has gotten better over time. While the core gameplay loop has not changed much they did add new game modes, new zones, tons upon tons of new guns, new quests and stories, and much more. It has not really gotten very dumbed down either and the more they add to it the more complex it gets. Reason they keep trying to streamline the tutorials and all that. I say give it another shot and see for yourself.

  10. So may times I just threw away my primary and pulled out my Akstilleto Prime in a mission. That gun strips armor like nothing else and melts anything it touches in seconds. I know there are also a few other secondaries just as powerful if not more so ((People have posted about them in here.))

I know some secondaries are trash but many of them are incredibly useful to have on hand.

Honestly depends on how much motion blur it will be. Because if motion blur increases the faster he goes....well...that would be problematic. Archwing will always remain the preffered method of transportation, but it's always nice to have more options.

You never know when they brake down...and we never saw a mechanic to fix them...no warranty...no instruction manual....

Well that is a problem when you have motion blur turned on. I personally leave it off since bloom and blur effects hurt my eyes and can get annoying.
