  1. Is your visual effect intensity very low ? Checkpoint brightness is linked to that, and since Deimos is in the same red tones it can be hard to see.
  2. +112.9 Critical Chance +147.7 Critical Damage +124.4 Multishot +71.8 Recoil
  3. It is. definitely. There is the bugs and too narrow areas, but k-drives controls in themselves are perfectly fine. It's a bit sad to kill the frame core identity, augment of not, but it's the price to pay to get some peace with it I guess.
  4. What you describe is client vs very laggy hosts issues. You may want to be the one hosting.
  5. Oy your good old K-drive runner here ! I have indeed been banned nine times. Everytime K-drives where involved. Now @French, @Famzey be reassured : this happens with intense K-drive usage. You probably will never have any issue by simply leveling boards and getting Kompressa. K-driven achievement, might be another story. But there is a get around that seems very solid so far. Buy stuff from Rocky from time to time, in a word spend your Ventkid standing regulary I have indeed my reasons to think it's a standing related issue. In the begining when it first happened I thought it was cracking pots to get energy getting too much ressources from it and time spend in the mission, since trade bans is a common issue by those who do long endurance run. So I used Juice and aborted missions when I did long race hunting sessions. But it happened again anyway. What is left when you abord a mission despite affinity eventually ? Standing. This is Taxman curve at WR pace (TW funny audio bug sound and atrocious playlist): Taxman curve is often the first source of trade bans for most. It was the case for fellow runners @gravity8000 and @RENRUTERIZADO I believe. Forget youtubers praising Grinding the Void : This is the one race, the best ratio Standing per second. 15 gates very close to each other. 15-20 sec each try. Now imagine the standing you can virtually get if you run it for a whole day of even a few hours. That's where my hypothesis is based on : Somehow, despite standing being maxed, we may still virtually accumulate standing, and there may be a hidden value somewhere, a 99999 number we shouldn't cross or something like that. What made me think of a link with standing is the 3 bans I got in early february 2022. I try harded a hell of k-drive at this precise time. And I got an unusual trade ban in a pretty ordinary and short mission. I don't recall exactly, a sortie stage or steel path daily. But I played Yareli, and therefore, used a k-drive. Then I made sure I do not stay at 120 000 standing for too long. I got trade banned again in april 2023 cause I forgot to buy stuff at some point since I hunted races way less last year, but with this method I could hunt infamous Taxman Curve actively in may-june 2022 to get the WR peacefully. Since then, so far so good ! BTW Maybe some remember the trade ban issues occuring at Angel of the Zariman release ? I wouldn't be surprise this is a bug of the same nature (Mentionned in Hotfix 31.5.1):
  6. We can be both. Space Ninjas Riding a board or a flying Ômu and flying big spaceships.
  7. So what choices do you have now ? One, let it be, realise collecting everything isn't an end in itself and you don't really need that extra mastery. Two, wait for the parts to be moved to the market or a pnj shop, wich is very unlikely. There is way more painful farms in the game that require much more efforts, investement and time than this one that never got touched over the years and this one doesn't require much so on no way ease it would be justified. Sure Waverider and Necramech parts got their tweak, but they are linked to story quest. K-drive is even more a niche than conclave. Fixes happens but it's more out of luck than anything. Three, actually do the race and get the thing. Sometimes when we struggle with something, it's best to just take a break and come back later. You said it yourself, you consider yourself not terrible at k-driving, you did all Fortuna's races. Skye eye, Grinding the Void, Deathgrip, Catalyst... Dead drop isn't that much harder than those. It's less forgiving in the begining because checkpoints are a bit farer from each other, but in terms of terrain, it's not much more busy. Plus you have mods, so there is no reason you can't do it beside being too scared/angry at it. which can be a valid reason, mind you. So, wich part of the race are you struggling on ? The serpentine grind at the begining ? passing the pit ? tell us and we will give you a few tips and tricks. It may not be of use to you, but someone else who end up on this topic might be glad to find the info they need, that's what forums are for.
  8. Again, no, you can do it without mods relatively easily.
  9. You can do it even with the bondi k-drive, just go straight to the point, no fancy tricks, jump and grind just the necessary. Use mainly the camera as your direction tool. You can use the slam attack to reduce airtime, but even if you're not confortable with that you will be fine.
  10. Oui Fun fact : A proper K-drive (and archwing) can free you from el famoso moonwalk bug. Also: Juice.
  11. Embrace it, get magus drive, speed mods, a velocipod and hunt the races, it will be done in no time. More seriously, grinding the ventkids and the kdrive mastery rep isn't a waste of time, get some mods, some sells relatively often like Inertia dampeners. Anyway, most who got this acheivement used the falling thing, I never heard someone getting banned for that. It's up to you.
  12. That's the way most people encoutered it first, it's there since echoes of duviri. It's a ragdoll bug, the game try to debug you if you're glued a bit too hard into the ground. You can get around this by going into operator and wait for your frame to get back up.
  13. This one is quite an old bug ( New war old, at least ) It has a chance to occur if you get in and out of the open world without leaving to your orbiter. It's not deimos specific. It's pretty common, like a 5/10 chance to happen.
  14. In this case it's best to take a screenshot. Race checkpoints are tied to effect intensity, in the accessibility panel : check if that's not set too low. 30 should be high enough.
  15. It's a known bug. /unstuck command will get you out of here. Too avoid it : as soon as you fall, go into operator mode and wait a few seconds for your frame to get up to recall it. If it fell into water, wait for the screen to fade to black first.
  17. Tested it on my side with no issues. Thing is, you can't have more than one blueprint of each part in your inventory. Search for it there, sell the faulty blueprint if it does not appear in your foundry, and redo the race. Of course, you have to not fail the mission for you to get the loot. I would advise you to do it solo to avoid any host migration shenanigans. If it doesn't appear anywere, you may have to send a support ticket.
  18. I actually managed to open one of those by getting my headshots close to the end and extract in the same aim glide. It may worth a try ;)
  19. Those actually appear, it's just that the "checkpoint radar" is very short, Deimos one being farer from each other so you may not see the next one. But I would say to not focus on the mini map but use your eyes instead. You may have trouble to see them if you set your effect intensity very low.
  20. For the last page you need kills while being in the air. According to a similar forum post, there is a text issue with german version :
  21. I think a screenshot would be nice to see there isn't a bug at work here but yeah I agree some areas are burnt as hell since the graphics update to the point it's tiring for the eyes (looking at you Fass cambion drift)... and yeah on circuit it's very hard to see Octavia's 3rd ability on the ground as an exemple. Checkpoints visibility are linked to effect intensity (in the accessibility panel). the lower the setting is, the more transparent it gets. I set it to 30 and I do not have to much issue seeing checkpoints aside one or two that are in a ray of sunlight in Orb Vallis.
  22. Yes, this issue have been reported a few times already. use /unstuck to get out of it.
  23. 2000 pt on page one it must be the race objective. See, there is a common bug that prevents you to start races, if you go in and out the open world without leaving the hub (on Venus or Deimos). Launch your mission from your orbiter, and see if you can talk to Rocky.
  24. This is a very annoying bug, but it's a fairly recent thing. when you fall into water, or any other pit, you are supposed to be brought back in the area where you feet has last touch the ground. However, if you no clip through the ground, the game will brought you back to the entrance of the orb vallis, and I think that's what the game is trying to do, but now on ragdolls that are a bit too long. On Cambion drift, you are directly teleported back in the necralisk airlock, and the mission ends. /unstuck command will get you out of this on Vallis. Although it is sometimes possible to get out of it just by moving around. You can also avoid it by going into operator and wait for your frame to get back up to recall it. Now regarding leveling K-drives and ventkids standing... It's actually the quickest syndicate to rank up. Do the races, it's much more rewarding in terms of standing and affinity. If you still want to do tricks, get Poppin vert as a priority, it will help you immensly. If you jump briefly on the ground you can keep the combo doing infinitely, and it goes high quickly as long as you do not spam the same trick over and over. And you can do that anywhere anytime. Also keep in mind you have better mobility if you boost. The pearl is actually one of the worst place. The area near the elevator, which is designed as a skatepark, is much better. It was a thing a long time ago to go there, before the addition of copycavat, and before enemies could throw you off your board. Maybe it's easier for keyboard users, Idk but I see very little interest in that place, unless you want to disgust yourself (I mean, who wouldn't get mad if you turn in circles again and again and again.
  25. This bug is around for a few weeks now. It happens if you fell into water, or after a big ragdoll. It can also happen with archwings if you get stuck with it. On cambion drift where you land makes you leave the mission entirely, wich is very annoying indeed. Unstuck works fine however. Another way to avoid it is to go into operator, and wait a bit for your frame to get back up. but I hope it will be fixed quickly
