You do realize he's talking about Chroma, right?

I was absolutely clueless, since he quoted me when I was talking about hydroid.

But then again, I completely forgot about their de-railing.

I'm mediorce with his 4th and his 1st still (Chroma)

Hydroid to me is good as is.

As I said, I wrote this because DE put chroma in the "soon to be reworked" batch

    Wait what....

His first is one of the worst ability in game, it makes you slow and vulnerable for absolutely no damage (and waste your energy)

His second is great for you and your team, the third make you super tanky and deal way more damage.

4th good for massive killing ?? Wut ? It wastes all your energy for barely any damage.

Oh but wait, this is an hydroid topic....

I still agree hydroid needs a rework, but I don't see when they'll do anything to him.

Maybe when we get hydroid prime (not soon)

    1st is used for CC.

4th is great for massive killing, I use the puddle to track enimies towards one location, then I use my 4th ability to kill them.

If you use abilities wisely, you'll be rewarded for it.

"third make you super tanky and deal way more damage."

    ..........................How do you mod puddle?

    Specify.

His 2 and 3, leave alone.

    His 1 and 4, yes.

    Otherwise NO.

    Wrong.

Leave his 1 and 4 alone

And his 2 and 3 needs to be replaced (Yes I am serious)

His 1 is great for a first ability.

His 4th is really good for massive killing.

His 2nd is mediocre, I don't really think Invunerability and knockback is really good for him, but I use it mostly for mobility.

His 3rd is a pool of death, I wish it did more damage.

  4. I agree, hydroid is completely broken due to all his abilities ignoring armor.

    His stun capability is insane

    His survivability is above nullifiers.

His damage output can put every frame including nova to shame.

    He needs a rework.

All of his abilities are WAY too powerful due them giving invulnerability to TWO of them.

    But srs,

    No, his abilities are fine.

He has a different style of gameplay.

  5. I disagree on one side, and agree on another.

1: DE should not reply on certain threads.

2: Reworks are near perfect, but they are scaled to a lower level. So you actually use guns and melee weapons.

The only thing I truly dislike, is how abilities scale.

They don't scale by %, they scale by a flat #. I understand that, since you can easily spam a ability, again and again.

Molt is a counter offensive ability not a sole defense ability. I don't take augments towards a

Also, I think nekros' SOTD heath drain makes sense, since you don't have to mod of strength only.

In other words, modding towards one ability.

Mag's polarize is well, meh, the armor chipping off is something I don't really care about. I'm just getting tired that it never scales.

I regard them as an enemy support unit, which I have no issue with.

But, they don't look cool like a sapping osprey, or have anything special to make me think they are a support unit.

They have a lanka. Which makes them feel more like a upgraded sniper crewman.

But I do agree, they are kinda a support unit.

Before proposing changes to the nullifier, let's not forget why it was implemented in the first place. Jamming a coin into your 4 key and going to make a sandwich is probably not the grand vision DE had for this game.

Challenging vs. Fair... are they challenging? Technically, yes. They present a challenge. "I hereby challenge you to neutralize this group of enemies without spamming your abilities from afar." Is it a difficult challenge to overcome? No. Nullifiers are squishy as hell. Are they "Fair"?  a) Who said life had to be fair? b) Yeah, they're fine. Why don't you ask some corpus/grineer what they think is fair when you talk about some of our tenno weapons/abilities. Im pretty sure things are *heavily* stacked in our favor.

tl;dr - nullifiers are there to mitigate 4 spam, and they seem to be working. They make high level corpus/void not a pushover. As for Combas, please don't change them. They're probably the single funnest unit i can think of off the top of my head.

They aren't powerful enough as a solo entitiy. DE tried to buff it, without making major alterations, which is a good thing.

However, they aren't really a enemy...and rather, a suicide debuff grunt.

I did read it. Twice. I'm not sure I fully understand what you're proposing. You want to replace the bubble with a giant wall that can be flanked? So... the nully becomes more like a bursa? Overall I like the idea, since the "flanking" aspect of bursas is part of why they are fun to fight. I'm not sure the wall needs to be 15 meters tall, though.  :)

The problem is, the bubbles intake of damage.

We can't let it become too weak, nor can we let it become too strong.

    Or so boring and BS.

So we have to ignore the issue of damage of the bubble, and propose a solution around a bubble.

Punchthrough makes it too weak, ETC.

Flanking is a far better way to go with this enemy. I've also considered a Ancient healer style thing, but it doesn't work out in the end.

Also, the walls need to be atleast 50 meters tall. I feel that they allow the ability to evade vertically is unfair at times.

I also forgot to mention abilities don't need to be adjusted like mag's.

Magentize/Polarize are not afffected by it.

    Pull, crush instantaneous.

    EX:

    ME                       Nullfier

     O                           I            []         I

      I IR-                       I     -Lanka      I

      /\                            i           /\         I

  9. I agree, it is UNFAIR, however, I have a completely different perspective on this.

All corpus enemies have a disadvantage you can over come, or you can completely ignore it.

A great example is sapping ospreys, you can either bum-rush into the sapping mine and take damage to kill the enemy.

Or you could destroy the mine, and then kill the osprey.

    Scambus

    All corups helms.

Bursas are slow so you can flank them.

and oxium ospreys, naturally have a disadvantage.

Either, Tactically take them out  Flank them OR kill them with stupidity.

    ----------------------------------

HERE's(HERE maps from nokia was acquired to microsoft.) where it all goes wrong.

You see, you could either have luck and deploy 500 ammo into a bubble, and then take them out.

Or you could just melee them and suffer the disadvantage.

Flanking is well, "Reasonable" I suppose

    Now...Here's the issue

THE tactical advantage is awful and restrictive.

How do we fix this? We make a better alternate route, however, we must keep the nullifier range and power deactivation the EXACT same.

    Advantages:

    1: Proivdes mobile cover.

2: Disables abilties if you rush in with melee.

3: Kills AFK players. or very slow players.

4: Artic exiums stacking is well, sometimes unfair. But this is REALLY rare..So it's kinda not a issue.

    Disadvantages:

1:Takes LOTS of bullets in a LARGE radius.-Stray bullets.

2:Very slow, cautious, in a face paced envoirment.

3:VERY VUNERABLE to ALL kinds of damage.

4: Uses a lanka, very awful to fast players.

    Suggestion:

Nullfiers Form a WALL the direction they are facing at and behind.(Has a slow rotation speed capped towards the way are facing.)

    -Makes stealth viable, and flanking.

After a short while, 10 seconds* Nullfiers walls will move RAPIDLY towards you. (4m per second)

    -Kill AFK people.

Nullfier walls have a adjusted damage, 150-600 damage cap 3 layers. Pellet catch amount is 6

    -Fixes limitaions.

Nullfier walls are BIGGER than bubbles, 15 meters tall, 5 meters wide. 2 meter thick.

-Allows you to flank, yet feel intimidated by it's power.

Nullfiers are used to being closer to high level units, they will move NEAR them, TEMPORARILY.

    -Reasons

Nullifers health has been nerfed by 1%, sheilds are more susceptable to elemental damage due to their "Poor" "POOR" "CHEAP" "LAB" "RESULTS"

    -Because it's funny.

    @Lord_Azrael Hope you read this.

I want them to get a buff, and I want them to be the same as ever.

  10. Mirage's Blind on prism was changed from Everything instantly in the range, to Line of Sight.

Trinities' bless was changed from inunverability to 75% cap.(Affected by affinity radius too)

The same exact setup should be exactly as easy, if you've done more than 20 raids, you just have to put a little more effort into this.

    Bless+EV+Loki+Blind still works.

Rhino stomp spamming is a new class for blind spam.

And I think that's practically it.

Almost all frames can be used, people just underestimate them. Saying that they aren't suited for LoR.

There really isn't much that changed.

  11. I'm not sure about a stronger bubble, but I've used to prioritize nullifiers over every enemy due to how cheap they are against enimies.

And thanks to their cap on bubble shrinking, they scale wonderfully.

  12. It's most likely a bug, I don't think ANY ability prevents reviving a ally.

I've not heard about this change at all, and i have been able to revive people on hysteria.

  13. Please...Update the main post, also.

-Energy can be taken from eximus units-Zenurik

-All channeled attacks deal blast damage, and drains more energy dealing a direct electic elemental on finisher (25 energy drained on finisher) (5+ energy drained on regular hits) (Static Shockwave)

-Completing a stance with complete hits gives you a higher crit chance. (Impending doom-Passive)

(Capped at 5%+ for 4 or less combos Capped at 10%+ for 5 combos-Capped at 20% for 10x combos.)(Does reset it every (Next) combo used, does not work with quick melee)

-After a enemy is fully analyzed by a scanner, a higher status chance will be given (10%-20% depending on energy you have filled up 10% full energy/20% for no energy or 25 energy)

-Projectile weapons/Attacks gradually reveals a weakspot (Energy leak)

(Does not work on bosses, does not work on capture targets)

-After killing any eximus, they will drain all your energy, however, they will give the energy back, 2x the amount your energy was taken (Resaturation)

    (Rate: 5 energy per second)

-After a ability is used, enemies that were affected by the ability that deals damage and dies by that ally gives them energy back.(5 energy max-passive)

(Does not work with toggle abilities, WoF)

Another day, another nulli thread. Oh boy. And look, the usual "lmfao they're easy, git gud, just melee/cheese them, they add challenge" crowd is already here. Wonderful.

This unit is a bandaid fix that has long overstayed its welcome. Its lore breaking. Its frustrating as all hell. It renders everything useless except for automatic weapons. It makes zero sense from any standpoint for them to exist. Promotes cheese. Punishes most styles of gameplay. PLEASE KEEP REQUESTING TO REMOVE THEM.

unless you actually like cheap countermeasures, lazy balancing, terrible enemy design, and limiting your entire game to a few weapons and "tactics". (slide killing everything and praying there isnt a zap osprey ready to instagib you with its mines).

Countless suggestions have been made. Scoped sniper shots should go through the bubble unimpeded. Also arrows. Let the bubble have a weakspot. Let it have a small duration. Let it block AOE powers and weapons ONLY (this was its sole original purpose), etc. But nope, all they get is buffed.

The devs have made it clear by now that Cheeseframe is actually working as intended. Players having a 5hitty game experience, every corpus mission being a gearcheck, etc. ITS ALL HERE TO STAY :) enjoy

      Reveal hidden contents

It makes sense lore wise, it clearly stated to have carrying unstable energy. And since zanuka exists, it should be common sense that this is not lore breaking. Espically when you consider this to be on JUPITER.

Next, "Countless" suggestions does not equal "Good" Suggestions.

All I've seen are 5 AWFUL suggestions:

1: Let snipers have puncthrough on the bubbles.

2: Let bow's arrows go through the bubbles

3: Once the bubble is destroyed

4: Let shotguns one-shot the bubble.

5: Remove the bubble, remove the enemy entirely.

You just making a weak unit worse,

The reason why cheese frame exists, is because everyone reacts like horrendously on reworks.

Most abilties are become a "Toggle" ability, or a "non-interference" ability

A toggle ability like Ember's WOF

    and

A non-interfence ability like mag's Polarize and Magentize.

All you want is NERF NERF NERF NERF, it doesn't make a enemy better, the enemy should be ENGAGING, not a nussicace that YOU WANT.

It needs a rework, and it NEEDS to fit it's role of defense, but it should not be as selective as this.

It should nullfiy your powers if you are standing in one position spamming,

    it should defend it's allies

it should be moved to a higher tier of spawn, to corpus tech.

(Remove bubble, engages special sheild on allies nearby decreasing' powers effect damage wise and slower status procs, homing high status magnetic lanka, (Homing does not scale, accuracy is capped lower))

  15. I actually agree.

But this would...take a while perhaps, for each and every node.

I mean, this would be good, but wouldn't it be more of, a one-mission mode?

What if we have 4 inaros doing one of the 4 objetives each?

Is it still going to be a one-mission main objectively only?

Or will it be variable without "caches hunters?"

A flexible multi-objective mission, with many side objectives?

Though, I wonder, would DE just combine modes like Sab+Spy+Clem survival=Sortie mission 1x?

Or will it be, MD->Spy->Multiple deception points, nightwatch assisted G3?+Maniacs+A executioner for good measure?
