[Good beginner warframes!!!!(please don't say valkyr)(also good beginner weapons)]

For a beginner, I recommend Excalibur and then don't worry about the next one. Even when you have a second 'frame, keep Excalibur. Solar junctions are easy with his Radial Blind and Exalted Blade ability.

My second Warframe to build was Oberon. I could not get all the blueprints for Rhino but got all the ones for Oberon first, due to crazy RNG. The consensus of the internet seems to be that Rhino should be your second warframe but it's not true.

Changing from Excalibur to Oberon was strange, but it makes me appreciate a different way to play. The game is well-designed in that it seems like you can play anything you can get, given what you have available. 

This idea alone makes arguments about Warframes trivial for me.

So here's my advice. Build whatever warframe you can build now and enjoy it.

Thanks for the input. Here's a follow-up.

I kept playing random missions, letting the G3 chase me around. Eventually I was grouped with other players powerful enough to destroy them. After three such missions, the Pyrus Project achievement for eliminating the G3 was checked off. On the very next mission, the G3 no longer spawned.

So yeah, I probably ran 15 consecutive missions with G3 in every one. Tell me that's supposed to happen!

The Grustrag Three have spawned on me in nearly every mission, approx 9 of 10 times. If I don't run like a scared chicken to extraction, it's a failed mission. Any defense, hijack, etc is a lost cause. I can't take time to look for scanning targets, caches, grind Nightwave achievements or farm gear. The G3 is all over me. t's frustrating for newish players who don't have the late or even mid game gear. I would love to progress and "git gud" but i'm stuck in the star chart until I finish some Grineer scanning for Simaris on Mars, where the G3 are kicking my tail.  I feel like we basically can't play at all until the Pyrus event is over.

In reading some info on this event, it seemed like the G3 won't start showing up until I turn in the Pyrus essence. Which I Have Not Done. Also it says the G3 have an "increased" spawn rate. Not guaranteed spawn.

Is this a glitch, a bug, or do I just need to stop playing for a few weeks?

Grustrag 3 is supposed to have an "increased" spawn chance during the event, but I just ran into them in four out of four consecutive missions on Mars. I gave up playing after that because i'm honestly tired of getting downed. I don't see how I can beat them even with friends. Is this a bug or a feature?
