No clue, but this happened to me before (however it's not that I chose to continue and battle it's just that the reward window didn't pop up until a second before you had to choose because of lag and so I was undecided forcing me to battle.
I think it's because you're not the host and it's a key that it happens.. but it is pretty annoying because you lose everything,
Happened to me on wave 30, lost all the xp, mods, etc same as you, hopefully it gets fixed whether it be that you can continue if you're not host or that if host leaves you're all forced to leave.

Brief Description: Fist-like weapon with blades on one end and conneced by a chain (kind of like nunchucks). The charge attack releases one of the fists and swing it around attacking all enemies within range.

I'm doing the Cicero Crisis mission and when I'm scanning anything with my codex it's costing me 2 scans instead of 1, not sure why this is.

I know this is rare, it happened to me for patch 11.5 which is a bummer but it does happen, just wondering if there is a way around this.
Basically I was in a team and we were doing an ODD while patch 11.5 rolled out, it just so happened that we had to either "claim and exit" or "battle on" while the patch was being deployed.
We were kind of in a lose-lose situation. We either left and had our data lost, or we stayed and the pod would be destroyed.
We all ended up claiming hoping that the patch would be deployed right before we got out - sadly that did not happen.
Just wondering if there is a work around for this (we had no chance of keeping an enemy alive).
If not I understand, it's one of those rare cases I guess.

Althought I'm happy with this update I kind of got screwed out of an ODD :/
We ended up having to finish the wave right as the patch was deployed and so none of our stats were saved.
It was a lose lose situation since staying we would have lost and leaving we lost everything... just wish there was a way to prevent this from happening.
And yes, I know we're meant to stay in untilt he patch is fully released but sometimes you can't...

Not sure if this has been suggested, but I was thinking if you were in a game session and for whatever reason you were forced to leave (internet disconnected, game crashed, etc) you should still be able to rejoin the session and reclaim whatever items/experience you may have gotten even if the objective has been complete (like passing 5 minutes in a survival or 5 waves in a defence).

I had the same issue, though I never got downed in that area but in the rooms past it through the portal, I was also still being pushed by that other room somehow.
