  1. Been playing for years, LR1 on two platforms and I still do this every time there's a Nekros in the squad. I'm pretty sure Nekros' "raised dead" are affected by his energy or emissions colours. Revenant's thralls have a marker over their heads, but it can be hard to spot in the heat of the battle.

I agree with you - it would be nice if this were more obvious somehow, but even then you'd still get people (myself included) not paying attention.

  2. I can agree with this, but while you're at it the whole Titania/Thermal Sunder combo would need to be nerfed as well. Otherwise the unskilled few will just switch to using that.

I've lost count of the number of pub missions I've run where I never fired a shot because of that combo.

What warframe did you sell for that price?!? The best I've been able to get on any platform was 150 plat for a long vaulted frame.

Sorry to say but it sounds like the platinum he had was not obtained from DE. They do work to remove false/scam platinum from the game and it sounds like you've been caught in the crossfire. The only thing you can do from here is to raise a support ticket (Support Desk link at the top of the forum). They may take a few days to answer, so be patient.

At the time of the post I've already gotten 62 C rotations, and not a single neuroptics in sight.
The probability of not getting the item in 62 rotations is about 0.06%. That's about HALF of a TENTH of a PERCENT

    That's some serious bad luck!

The Protea grind is painful - I've commented about it several times before as the real-world drop rates seem to be way different to what is posted. And that's not just me, that's taking into account multiple people.

Keep at it and it will show up. Just make sure you do other things as well to make the grind slightly more bearable.

Yes, I gilded them after I leveled them.

Sorry my dude, but you need to level them, gild them, then level them again. You only get Mastery from leveling them after gilding them. The same goes for kitguns, amps and the infested companions.

The only answer for Xbox One/ PS4 users is to upgrade their hardware it seems. After a decade on those systems, there's probably not much more optimization to be made. + switch eww

Sadly, you're probably right. I'd love to get a PS5, but here in NZ there are still stock issues. Not to mention the price tag. Hence why I'm now playing on PC mostly.

    Switch... 😂

  7. This has probably already been mentioned here, but I can't be bothered re-reading 45 pages of posts to find it...  Something needs to be done about the loading times for some of our console cousins.

I've had more than a few public relic missions lately that go like this:

    • At mission loading, there are 4 members in the squad.
    • Host and I are there from the start (I'm playing mostly on my PC account these days), third player joins after another 10-15 seconds. Void fissures start spawning. We start killing enemies and slowly working towards the objective.
    • After a full minute, 4th player still hasn't appeared, eventually gives up and drops out.
    • A new player joins the squad. By this time we've reached the capture target/rescue target/sabotage target etc. Deal with the objective and wait around killing enemies so that the 4th player has at least some chance of getting their reactant.
    • After another minute or two, 4th player still hasn't loaded in. Someone will get frustrated and head towards the exit.
    • 4th player either never loads in, or loads in just as the second person reaches the extraction point. By this point enemies may have stopped spawning.

In every case, the 4th player has been a cross-platform (non-PC) player. The problem is that there seems to be a big disparity in loading times across the various platforms. PC will usually be fastest, but those on the latest PS5 and Xbox Series X seem to keep up well (sometimes faster than my current gen i7 laptop) . My own PS4 (running an SSD) is fairly slow to load missions and I suspect that those on Switch will be even slower. Possibly there are network related issues here too.

I don't have any ideas on how this could be addressed, short of limiting the platforms that can connect (PS4, Xbox One and Switch on one segment, PS5, Xbox Series X and PC on another), but that kinda defeats the purpose of cross-platform play.

  8. I have to agree that the current Orphix missions are overly difficult for a solo player.

When the Orphix Venom event was on, there were three difficulty levels. With a fully kitted out Nechramech and Archgun (I use Mausolon), I could fight solo right through to the end of the first two difficulty levels - 24 each rounds from memory. It was a decent fight but doable.

Using the same setup in the Railjack missions, I can barely take out five of the Orphix solo before the percentage is too high. It seems like the spawn rate for new Orphix is higher than it was during the event. My guess is that the game isn't adjusting for the actual number of players and is just spawning enemies at the full squad rate. Either that or I've gotten really bad at Warframe during the two month break I took...

  9. My two cents worth...

I like that we now have a bit of diversity in the Railjack missions, or at least more to do than just the old Skirmish. However...
The Defense missions take way too long. There's enough to do just getting in to the Defense itself, then we have 5+ rounds in the slowest Defense map. Don't get me wrong, I like the look of the map, the problem is that it's just too big. Sitting on the Defense target and waiting for the enemy to come to you takes ages. Roam around the map and you're liable to end up miles away fro where the enemy actually is. For the record, I don't particularly like this map for normal missions either for the same reason. The worst case I've had was when the Corpus units decided to hide instead of coming for the target. 5 rounds took just over 20 minutes with a full squad of 4 trying to hunt everyone down.

Orphix missions. I played Orphix Venom when it was out, but only enough to get Lavos and Cedo. In OV I could do them solo and could clear all but the Endurance level. In Railjack (solo), I'm out after 3 Orphix as the Sentient control is already above 75%. Same loadout (Bonewidow and Mausolon) that I used in OV. I haven't tried Voidrig yet - I prefer Bonewidow for the healing capability of her 1.
In addition to this the Orphix missions don't make sense to me. If the Orphix are invading, shouldn't there be Sentient ships in the Railjack side? Or at least a Murex or something?

Lastly, I'd like to see stealth being added to Railjack somehow. Maybe you have to secretly infiltrate an enemy ship and run a Spy mission inside? That would mean entering by archwing (slingshot?) without getting to close to patrolling fighters. Triggering the alarm changes the mission type. Just a random idea.

Thanks for all your hard work on this DE. What you do is most appreciated!

  10. I like the Plexus, though I'm still figuring out optimal mod configurations. I am slightly disappointed that this is being used as yet another Forma sink.

My only other feedback so far is that Railjack armaments still feel weaker than I think they should. Even with max rank Hyperstrike, Predator and Section Density, MKIII Zekti or Vidar Apoc/Carcinnox, I can still do more damage to fighters and cannon emplacements with my Mausolon in archwing than I can using the Railjack turrets. Somehow this doesn't seem right to me.

  11. A quick skim through shows that most of these have been added here already, I'm repeating only for emphasis...

Pilot role AI - would be really helpful if they would line up on targets (according to the current objectives) when you jump into the Artillery. As a few people have pointed out, they won't line up on Crewships or the Reactor weakpoints when needed. Manually lining them up and jumping into the Artillery is fine as long as you remember to switch the pilot to another role first, otherwise they'll jump back in the pilot seat and fly away. I've missed multiple shots because of this...

Gunner role AI - even at rank 4 these guys well outdo me for accuracy. Not complaining, just an observation!

Engineer role AI - I had expected the Engineer to keep manufacturing items in the forge. Boy was I wrong! Keeping Omni topped up when handling repairs - good. Manufacturing repairs when hull is damaged - good. Completely ignoring you when you run out of Dome Charges or Missiles - not cool dude!!

Overall I like the Command Intrinsic. I like the diversity of the crew members that you can hire. I like that i can now do Railjack solo without having to park the Railjack in an asteroid to stop it being totaled. Outside of what I've said above, I'd like to see crew members gain affinity over time allowing for further training. Not sure how that would work but maybe a slow progression similar to intrinsics (ie each new level doubles the cost of the previous). Or possibly even crew member specific perks based on their syndicate affiliation?

Currently on 26 tries with a friend and no luck

I've been seeing a lot of these sorts of posts lately... more than would be normal.

I too have been farming original warframe parts (for Helminth) and noticed that, in some cases, one part seemed to be much more rare than the other two or three - and not always the one with the lowest drop chance!

RNG being what it is makes it hard to prove anything, but I do wish DE would at least take a look at this and state quite firmly that the game is working as expected.

You can also expect improved loading times across the entire game, thanks to the next generation solid-state drive!

I find this to be an interesting statement. I upgraded my PS4 with a decent mid-range 500GB SATA SSD and while there was a slight decrease in loading times it was hardly noticeable (comparing to my flatmates PS4 with a 1TB HDD, 2-3 secs difference max).
On PC I've quickly learned that the loading times are - at least initially - CPU bound, and that my laptop could do with some additional cores.

Still, I'm excited to hear that PS4 and PS5 are being treated as a single platform (ie simultaneous release/cross play). It would be good to know how long the PS4 will continue to be supported so that Tenno can plan for their upgrades.

First, I will say that playing solo gives me little to no issues, @(PS4)mrclean0325, you are correct in that regard. As for my internet, mine is fine. NAT2, 100mbps package is sufficient enough for just about every game, and it's stable, so I'm going out on a limp and say this specific case and say that it was the host's connection.

However, playing in a squad, wether I host or join as a client, the performance of the games turns less than optimal.

This seems to truly be an unusual issue. Playing solo fine says that both the game and your PS4 are working as expected. Connecting as a client does place a dependency both on yours and the hosts internet connection. However, the fact that you have issues even when you are the host just doesn't make sense. Your console is doing all the work, so in theory it shouldn't be any different to when you play solo (given a slight exception for when your teammates are using high graphic effect weapons like the Bramma or Sonicor).

Just before we dismiss the internet connection completely, is the game set to play in your home region? For example, I am based in the Oceania region but I play primarily in the North American region simply because there are far more players. Most of the time this works absolutely fine, but there are occasions when I will be able to connect to a squad (300ms max ping set) but end up with several seconds lag just in to the game. Thankfully this is rare but when it does happen all I can do is quit and start again. If you are playing 'out of region' like I do, perhaps try setting the region locally temporarily and see if that makes any difference.

  15. I play on PS4 daily and the only time I've seen delays and bugs like you describe was when doing a public mission with the latency settings set way too high, ie internet connection was the issue.

So to start with, I'd check your max latency setting under Options - I find that anything over about 400ms can start to show some serious lag.

If that's set correctly, then it might be to do with your PS4 system. You could try rebuilding the PS4 database (see here: https://www.playstation.com/en-gb/get-help/help-library/system---hardware/power---system-stability/safe-mode-on-playstation-4/)

Rebuilding the database can solve some issues on PS4 but keep in mind that it does take some time.

    Hopefully that helps!

I decided to check nightwave seasons and found out that I was still at tier 28 in the wolf of saturn 6 nightwave season, I checked the rewards to see what i missed and found out that at tier 30 rewarded you with the wolf of saturn 6 armor bundle and at rank 29 rewarded you with umbral forma, I have gotten 3 umbral formas but I don't know how exactly I got the armor bundle and the umbral forma while I was still at tier 28, maybe i was actually at tier 30? I don't remember much but I don't remember encountering a bug in nightwave or the rewards in nightwave. Is tier 28 actually the armor bundle? I've searched for the rewards and it says that tier 30 is the armor bundle reward and tier 29 is the umbral forma.

Nightwave Intermission 2 had the Saturn Six Armor set as the Rank 28 reward, so if you reached rank 28 in Nightwave Intermission 2, you'll have the set. At least that's how I got it.

Eureka! I don't understand how it is “fixed” but if i put the “Antiserum Injector” in the slot nothing else seems to be able to go in, the add gear button comes back!!!

If i take it back out, the “add gear” button goes away again.

That is just strange, but so glad to hear that you've managed to find a fix!

If you build and master every marketplace weapon and frame blueprint, it becomes the only item the game can give you when the log in bonus hits blueprint. Another way to get it would be nice, but it's not exactly hard to get at the moment.

I did exactly this and got the Machete BP two or three weeks ago.

Unfortunately the support team are the ones that asked me to post here. So who knows what the next step will be.

So good to see the support team helping! Just out of curiosity, what happens if you completely empty your gear wheel (or at least the ones you can) and load a railjack mission? I'm wondering if we can get the Omni to shift positions and 'unlock' itself.
